00:12The statement shared by Jorge Rodriguez said, within the framework of the second cycle of
00:17conversations, the delegations of the national government and the 2015 National Assembly
00:22welcomed with satisfaction the recent decision of the national executive to lift restrictions
00:28on access to digital portals and measures that strengthen access to information.
00:34Likewise, they announced the installation of the technical table for freedom of expression,
00:39plurality of thoughts and the right to information, a space that will begin a process of consultation,
00:46guarantees and verification of progress in the area with the parties involved and the community
00:52for the second cycle of work.
00:53Finally, they announced the formation of a Joint Monitoring Commission that will ensure
00:59the continuous fulfilment of established agreements and commitments the delegations will remain
01:05in session until Wednesday, September 23, during this second cycle.
