"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." - Isaiah 40:8
HOW are One Hand Deadlifts overload? Topping out at 278¾lb(126½kg) Lefty & 318½lb(144½kg) Righty puts me WELL OVER half of my regular Two Hand Deadlift. These Deadlifts overloaded the Hook Grip, arms, Delts, Traps & Lats with more weight stress than they would see even if l was Deadlifting 500lb. Additionally, you can see that center on these would be way off center for a regular Two Hand deadlift, which puts a huge amount of extra stress on the Lats. Lotsa good going on here. Notice the free hand over the lifting hand pull l do before each attempt to make sure the grip is centered?? Pulling hundreds of pounds with one end of the bar tipping down trying to rip the weight outta yer hand is NO FUN...trust me on this. God Bless.
