00:00make so that Minnesota is going to root a day they didn't sell instead of buying some of those
00:05pieces in the back end. But you didn't think Minnesota should be a buyer. You also didn't
00:10take them serious to win the division. I tend to agree with you here as we're heading into what
00:16week number two of August. And I don't see them putting together a 15, you know, 15 out of 20
00:25game winning streak here. Do you especially with Joe Ryan getting hurt? Yeah, I'm not. Yeah. Ryan
00:30status very much up in the air. Yeah, I don't know what they were thinking. And you know, the one
00:35thing
00:35you want to do is you want to give credit to the organization for trying a little bit. But it
00:40was
00:40like not even half in it kind of felt like like a third of the way like just bullpen arms
00:46like you
00:46know, you have bucks on the IL, right? Like so yes, I guess they get credit for not selling. But
00:52Joe
00:53last year, the twins had Johan Duran, who was the best closer or one of the best closers in the
01:01NL.
01:01I guess you could say Mason Miller's the best. But they had Johan Duran. And they had Louis
01:07Varland. Varland is now like the best reliever in the AL. And Duran is like one of the best in
01:13the NL.
01:14And so what did they do this year? They traded they traded for two guys who are not as good
01:19as the two
01:19guys they traded last year. So forgive me if it sounds strange to me, but I don't understand what
01:25they're doing. Well, did they have it? Weren't they selling the team last year? Are these the
01:31new owners? Wasn't there a we want to shed something? No. So that it's the same. Well,
01:37then I have no idea why you're buying you're trying to go out and improve your bullpen when you had
01:42two
01:42of the best closers in the game. What not a year ago, two years ago, a year ago, and you
01:47got rid of
01:47them both. And you got rid of them both. So and then in the offseason, not to get too deep
01:55in the
01:55weeds, but the twins in the offseason said, we're going to rebuild. We're going to trade Pablo Lopez.
01:59We're going to trade Joe Ryan. We're going to fire Rocco Baldelli. We're going to fire the
02:04president, Derek Falvey. They did all those things. They did that. And then they didn't trade
02:08anybody and they didn't do anything. And then they sort of ran it back. Yeah. I'm going to look,
02:14I don't know the situation. I'm going, Joe, I'm going on a total whim here. The twins, the reason
02:22why you think that they were sold is because they put the twins up for sale. They did. Yeah. You
02:27remember? And then they pulled it back when they didn't get what they wanted. So I am going to,
02:33I am going to guess, I think the guys from Walmart on this team, Polat, right?
02:38I am going to guess. I think you're right. That the twins owners, Polat is like, this is it.
02:46Like I'm running out of time. It's now or never. And I'm going to guess he told whoever there,
02:51I don't even know who's running their team right now. GM wise. Hey, if you need to add some guys
02:55to make a run, go ahead and do it. And the GM's like, I want to keep my job. All
03:00right, cool.
03:01Let me go get AJ Minter. What? Okay, fine. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. That's like,
03:08what are we doing here? And then you lose Joe Ryan, which is even crazier now to injury.
