00:00Meanwhile, the A's have waved the white flag on their season. My gosh, what an awful ending to
00:05their season. They were 17 and 14 at the end of April. They've had one of the historically worst
00:11May on seasons in a long time in baseball. They did win on Saturday somehow. They came back to
00:17win. They lost now Jacob Wilson for the season to go along with Tyler Soderstrom, to go along
00:23with Nick Kurtz, and to go along with everybody else, it's seemingly on the A's. And it feels
00:28like Tom instantly when the A's play, the game is like 6-0. They're losing. It's just one of those
00:34really horrible years for them. It really is. And when you look at their lineup on a day-to-day
00:39basis, Craig, I don't know about you, but sometimes I take a glance at that lineup and I legitimately
00:44say, I'm like, I don't know who that player is. I don't know who this player is on the end.
00:49We've been doing this long. I know basically every player that's rotating in with you is a fourth or
00:53fifth outfielder for a team. I'm like, okay, I've seen his name before. That's not always the case
00:57with the A's. They're going to strike out a ton, and they're going to give up a ton of runs
01:00from
01:01now until the end of September. Yeah, it's seemingly, it's not a matter of them losing
01:06series. It's are they going to get swept or not? That's basically the only question here at this
01:10point. They have enough wins to, I think, force themselves from not losing 120 games. But beyond
01:16that, it's just been a dismal season. They're going to end up about 50 games under 500 from May on.
01:22That's really, really hard to do.
