00:15a ring on his finger and helped you get that championship a few years ago in Aaron Donald is apparently
00:22interested in what, joining the team here?
00:25Is that what we're to get from this?
00:28It looks like it's still to be determined, but they invited him to come and work out to see how
00:36he felt and the team feels how he looked.
00:39And, you know, naturally McVay, who is respectfully as shady as they come with information, he is like the worst
00:47of all in telling you what's really going on with anybody.
00:50Like last year with Stafford, we did this whole dance until the first game of the season.
00:54So we're really not going to know until they make a decision.
00:58But my guess is, is that if Aaron Donald wants to come back and play, Joe, that some at some
01:06point, I'm going to say midway through the season after he gets full workouts and, you know, not at the
01:12beginning.
01:12I mean, I would be crazy to think in a month he'd be ready to go.
01:14But at some point we may see him back on the team.
01:18And if you're him, they're so stacked, the Rams, like he's just going to sort of chase, chase another ring
01:23if he wants to.
01:24But we'll see.
01:25You know, look, he was a hugely impactful player.
01:28Probably wouldn't be an every down guy at this point.
01:31Used to be in on every down and sack in the quarterback to on third down.
01:35I would assume that wouldn't be the case anymore.
01:36But we'll we'll we'll see what they end up doing here.
01:39He picked the right team to go to.
01:40That's for sure.
01:41Yeah, it's a he's 35 now.
01:45But all we've heard a lot about this when Miles Garrett, that trade was announced when they knew Miles Garrett.
01:52He was like, listen, you're going to put Miles on one side.
01:55I, I might be worth and, you know, McVay every year since he retired, what, 2024 after the championship.
02:02He's like, hey, listen, you know, if you ever want to come back, you got that itch.
02:06You want to come on back.
02:07So Miles Garrett might be enough to convince him.
02:11But, yeah, I don't expect to see him until like December.

02:14Because that's when you want him.

02:21You know, you don't need him at the beginning.

02:25And he's got that kind of cachet.

02:37But the Rams, again, are that one team where I've always said that, you know, again, nothing
02:43against Sean McVay.
02:44But we went through an entire postseason and Super Bowl of thinking that Todd Gurley was
02:49healthy.
02:49And he was literally on a bike when we were told that he would play and couldn't get
02:53into the Super Bowl.
02:54And since then, I haven't been able to trust that guy.
02:58For good reason.
02:59So, like, remember, Stafford, he's going to be fine.
03:03He'll play in the first preseason game.
03:04He'll play in the second.
03:05He'll play in the third.
03:06He may be off for the year.
03:07Like, we got, like, the guy was just, like, giving us all kinds of crap.
03:10And then Stafford had an unbelievable year.
03:12So, that's the other thing, too, about the Rams, Joe, why I would not bet them to go
03:17to the Super Bowl.
03:18Because, man, Stafford had an incredibly healthy year last year.
03:22Like, played in every game.
03:24And, like, ah.
03:25MVP.
03:25You know, I'm not betting on that.

03:30Well, I mean, they did draft a quarterback in the first round.

03:46He's a shifting guy.

03:53And then he plays every game, plays right through.
03:55And he's the MVP.
03:57But the good news is, I think they're better this year offensively than they might have
