00:00But if you're a Kansas City Chief fan, you've got to be ecstatic, Tom,
00:03because guess who will likely be on the center in game one,
00:07which who is game one against, by the way, for Kansas City this year?
00:12Denver on Monday night, right?
00:14It is Denver on Monday night, right?
00:16Is it Denver Monday night?
00:18Denver on Monday night, which is two quarterbacks coming off injuries
00:22and two teams that should be pushing to the postseason.
00:26And listen, someone's going to start off 0-1.
00:30That's correct.
00:31And that is where?
00:33In Kansas City or in Denver, you said?
00:36I'm almost positive it's in Kansas City.
00:38I can double-check real quick for what we have for week one.
00:43Yeah, it's in Kansas City.
00:44It's a two-and-a-half line.
00:45In Kansas City.
00:4643-and-a-half total.
00:50He is going to be under center for a Sunday.
00:54You know it, Tom.
00:55I know it.
00:56I just remember when he went down.
00:58I mean, that was December.
00:59The fact that he is going to be ready with that injury is kind of amazing to me, Tom.
01:05But listen, better living through medical science, I guess,
01:09because it certainly looks like he is going to be ready to start from game one.
01:13And that's good news because I think they finally have a running game.
01:17Tom, are you going to buy that Kansas City will finally be able to run the ball
01:21with some consistency here next year?
01:23I certainly do.
01:26And the potential for Kenneth Walker, I think, is huge because what defenses have done historically
01:33to stop Patrick Mahomes with the safety help that they need over the top presents a big
01:40opening for Kenneth Walker.
01:42Because if they are in a spot where they're not stacking the box against Kenneth Walker,
01:48he's going to run rampant.
01:50And seeing his season-rushing TD prop at 7-and-a-half, I feel like Ken Walker could have 10
01:56if things
01:57go well for them on offense.
02:00I don't you?
02:01It feels like maybe slow and no more.
02:05They let's drop him back 25 times in the first half.
02:08Maybe start grinding out some clock, pushing the ball long.
02:12I mean, Andy Reid, he's been doing this a long time.
02:15I'm just wondering, you know, are they going to be the big, because he has not been a good
02:21downfield passer for a while, but I still think they're a top seven, Tom,
02:26top six or seven offense in the National Football League, but they have to be able to run the
02:31ball if they're going to have any success here.
02:33They really do, and I think that will alleviate a lot of the passing game issues.
02:39And a part of me wants to think that Mahomes could be really effective this upcoming season.
02:44And everyone's going to talk about the lack of wide receivers and Travis Kelsey declining,
02:49and he looks slow, and he looks all the things.
02:51But if you're as reliant on the passing game, you know, maybe Travis Kelsey can,
02:56play fewer snaps per game.
02:57He can run fewer routes per game.
02:59But on the routes that he's out there, he's a little bit more effective.
03:02And Rasheed Rice is out there.
03:04And they still have Worthy out there.
03:07So these players can just be a little bit more effective on a per-play basis because
03:10the running game is actually solid, and they can lean back on that.
03:14Yeah, I think.
03:16They got a pretty good offensive line again.
03:19And don't forget, Nagy's out, right?
03:21So it's the enemy they brought back, who has a lot of experience, not only with Andy Reid,
03:27but certainly has a ring there with Patrick Mahomes.
03:31So I'm going to be very fascinated with them.
