With the help of a few leftover orange peels, you’ll be enjoying a crispy and sugary snack! In this video, Natalie shows you how to make candied citrus peels using either orange, grapefruit, lemon, or lime peels. Boiled multiple times over the stove, these crisp fruit candies can be enjoyed with minimal ingredients and little cleanup.

00:00Stop throwing away your peels. We're making citrus candy. For this recipe you
00:03can use oranges, grapefruits, limes, lemons. Start by peeling off thin layers
00:07of the skin. Place your peels into a saucepan. Cover with water and bring to
00:10a boil. Drain your peels and repeat the steps two more times. Bring some water
00:13and sugar to a boil, then add in your peels and continue boiling for about 15
00:16minutes. Now place your peels on a rack to dry overnight. The texture is
00:20reminding me of like beet rings. Mm-hmm. They're perfect. Crispy, crunchy, sugary.
