00:33When I first picked up Coconut from the shelter, that's what I had hoped for her.

00:43and I got to see the sweet, goofy personality hiding underneath all that fear.

00:53After a few weeks, Coconut was ready for adoption,

01:00and Danielle made sure that her new family understood hers.
01:05The rescue and I explained that Coconut had separation anxiety and needed extra reassurance.
01:11It was so comforting to hear that her potential adopters had experience with dogs like her,
01:17and I was so happy to have room to help another dog in need.
01:26The moment I heard that, I jumped in my car, drove an hour to where she had gone missing.
01:31I searched and searched until I finally spotted her in the distance.

01:44Most foster dogs end up exactly where they're supposed to be.
01:48As of today, Coconut is still with me, and she's not currently available for adoption.
01:55After everything she's been through, we decided she deserved the chance to decompress,
