00:03shouldn't have to go against biological men. Just can you expand your viewpoint on that?

00:07I mean, I think I said what I said. I think it's kind of common sense.

00:11And I think I'll always believe in that. I think it's really important to protect children

00:16and that's little girls who are also involved in that category. And so I stand on what I said

00:22and I always believe that. Do you see your advocacy on that, like taking any form going

00:27forward? You know, I don't know. I'm not a very political person, but I do have beliefs. I have

00:32morals and I'll always stand on those and be true to who I am. And I think people are going

00:39to take it

00:39how they want to take it, but I've never even really said anything about that. And so when it comes

00:44to protecting young girls in sport and women in sport, I feel very strongly about that. I think

00:49that's why you have Title IX. That's why you have some of the greats in women's sports. If Title IX

00:55and women's sports weren't protected, then you wouldn't hear about any type of women in sport.

00:58And so I think in the future, it's just really important to protect.

01:05So for those of you who are unfamiliar with who that is, I'm sure you probably already know

01:09I've talked about her and she's gone absolutely viral. That is WNBA star Sophie Cunningham,

01:17who plays for the Indiana Fever with Kaitlyn Clark. Shout out to Kaitlyn Clark too, by the way.

01:26Kind of got me into watching a little bit of women's basketball there for a little bit when

01:30she was in college at, I believe that was Iowa, if I remember correctly. That was one chick that I

01:36could genuinely watch play basketball. She was hoping, hoping, hoping. But anyway, you know,

01:42Sophie obviously, for obvious reasons that you just heard there, has been in the news once again,

01:48because leftists are angry. They're all losing their minds over what she said. And now it is going a

01:54little too far. Okay, there was an incident at a WNBA game. And I want to talk about it because

02:01these leftists need to be called out for their craziness. So let's jump into it a little bit.

02:10It's a win-win all around. And yet they're still, they're so rotted to the core with hatred for,

02:21I guess, divergent opinions or I don't know what it is that they are going to attack a couple of

02:27teenage girls who have come with a sign that says, thank you, Sophie, for speaking up for girls.

02:35F you! Right. She's going to be giving and sending some stuff. I assume they're going to be

02:39shoes. Yeah. Seattle Storm made a statement after they suspended the minority owner. We respect the

02:45league's decision to find and suspend co-owner Celeste Keaton. She must really be a treat in those

02:50owners' meetings. We remain committed to creating a welcoming and a respectful environment for anyone

02:56who attends a storm game. But isn't this Seattle? I mean, these are the people that hand needles.

03:01And the one tonight is Portland. Yeah. So here we go. I mean, that's what happens.

03:05If they play these games in the south, everyone would be cheering these two girls.

03:09I would think. Yeah. You know who would never treat somebody like that? Chanley Painter.

03:28Take the trash out. That was to children. The WNBA is now disciplining Seattle Storm co-owner Celeste

03:36Keaton after she allegedly berated two teenage fans of Sophie Cunningham. The teens were wearing shirts

03:42from a brand that stands up for no biological men in young women's sports. XX and XY chromosomes on the

03:51shirt. Now, they were holding signs thanking her, Sophie Cunningham, for speaking up over biological

03:57men competing in women's sports. Just two of them. The teens say that Keaton approached them,

04:02by the way, using a lot of profanity that we can't directly quote on air. So pepper that in in

04:07your

04:07thoughts right now, as she also called them insane and telling these two young girls that

04:12Jesus would forgive them and quote, God can save you. One teen reported that the encounter left her

04:18in tears because she had never been screamed like that by an adult. Keaton has now been suspended from

04:25her team's next five home games. And the Seattle Storm released an apology saying this.

04:30We are aware one of our co-owners made comments to two fans in attendance at last night's game.

04:35We apologize that this happened. Everyone who attends a Storm game deserves to feel welcome,

04:40and we remain committed to creating an inclusive environment where every fan is treated with

04:46respect. Sophie Cunningham is weighing in as well, calling the owner's behavior, quote,

04:50truly embarrassing, while saying that everyone deserves a seat at the table, even when they disagree.

04:55She praised the young girls for standing by their beliefs and even says she'll be sending the

05:00pair of gifts. Yeah, so absolutely disgusting stuff, man. But that's that's leftist. That's leftist,

05:08right? Going after teenagers because they wore a shirt. It's just utterly ridiculous, utterly ridiculous.

05:17And, you know, I'm not gonna say that. Yeah, it's just, you know, just when you think Democrats couldn't

05:30reach any lower, they actually do. Going after kids because they wore a shirt. But if they wore a shirt

05:37that, you know, promoted the opposite, it's all fine and dandy. Goodness gracious. And, you know,

05:44it's also crazy because the WNBA needs eyeballs. They need attention. And so you're pushing that

05:52attention away. People just just just don't think it's like the lights on but nobody's home. You know

06:00what I mean? It's all but nobody's home. Here are two of the young girls that were involved in the

06:09situation. Check it out. Well, we were just sitting there with our signs that said, like,

06:13we love Sophie. Like, thank you, Sophie, for speaking up. And so we were holding on just

06:17watching the game. Again, like, we were being super great. We hadn't said anything to anyone

06:21else. We were being super respectful. We were just holding our signs and cheering for both teams.

06:24And this lady, older lady, comes up to us. And she comes up to us. And at first, I think

06:29she's

06:29gonna be nice. And she asked, like, what are you guys doing? Something like that. Yeah.

06:33And then it was like, Jesus loves everyone. That's what she told us. And I was like, oh,

06:38I know. Like, I'm really just like, I know. I know. Yeah. And she's like, oh, I hope Jesus can

06:44forgive you for what sin you've done. And like, something like that. And then she told us that

06:47we were effing insane. And she went like, effing insane. Yeah. She's like, you better stop this.

06:53And stop pulling this. Yeah. And for you guys to come here and pull this. I hope God can save

06:57you.

06:57Yeah. She said, for you to come here and pull this shit. Yeah. She said the word. Yeah.

07:01Yeah. Did she say effing insane or the fucking insane? No, she said the word.

07:05Yeah. And nobody around you spoke up for you. No. No.

07:08So, I will say, Annalie, when I came over, you were in tears.

07:11Yeah. I've never even yelled at like that. I mean, I've had people hate on me on the internet,

07:15but like, it doesn't really affect me because it's just people online. But that just took me

07:19high surprise because I thought she was gonna be nice. And then she started, like, screaming at us

07:22and cussing at us. So, yeah. And so, you said she walked away and we thought that was kind of

07:29it.

07:29But she mentioned something to you about, like, working for the team or...

07:33Um, there was another lady that, like, like, told us, like, we were able to have our opinions,

07:38um, but we needed to not be political about it. And I tried to explain to her I wasn't trying

07:41to be

07:41political. I was just trying to support Sophie and support the other team.

07:44And you were just sitting there watching.

07:46Yeah. We, we hadn't interacted with anyone except for, like, saying an excuse.

07:50Yeah. Like, we were, we were really nice and stuff. And then this lady told us, like,

07:53do you know who that is? And we were like, no.

07:55So, what was your reaction when I texted you that, that, that is the owner of the team?

07:59It's just sad.

08:00We were like, what? Yeah. We were, we were shocked.

08:03Yeah. It's disappointing though, too, because she's also a woman and she

08:07just kind of cussed out two 16 year olds that were just trying to have fun.

08:10We weren't trying to be political. You're just trying to support Sophie, which I guess, I guess maybe that's a

08:15lot.

08:15Yeah. And so overall, because I know that that wasn't the only person who was, like,

08:19giving you a hard time, kind of.

08:21I mean, did you feel like they've got their no hate signs up and did you feel welcome?

08:26No. The whole time we were kind of on edge.

08:32And the lady was sitting right across from us and the two people on the side of us were, like,

08:35turning their back and trying to sit as far away from us.

08:39Yeah. Because one of them, when you sat down, did you notice that they had a

08:42no hate in these United States?

08:44I didn't notice it until after she had said something like, Sophie's not actually speaking

08:48up for girls, which who else she is. But anyways.

08:52I mean, just in general, like, you're at this sporting event

08:56that really is about the peak of female athletics.

08:59And for them, the owner, to treat you in that way for wearing this t-shirt, I mean,

09:05what do you take away from that?

09:08That maybe we're not being very hateful and maybe they should work on being more kind

09:13to people, even though our opinions differ. Because we were being respectful and kind

09:18to people. And I don't care if you think something else, it's your opinion.
