00:00I think it's trans, trans rights now is our new battle.
00:02That's what I think I was saying, that like the battles have changed.
00:05Oh, yes.
00:05You know, like our intentions have been the same,
00:07but now the environment has changed.
00:08We see trans people's rights being, you know, stripped away from them.
00:11There's a lot of discourse around trans athletes and what they can compete in.
00:16I would welcome a trans athlete on my team or against my team anytime.
00:19I don't think it's a problem in the world.
00:22It's just another way to kind of attack trans people.
00:27You know, we've seen players like Laysia Clarendon who stepped into that forefront
00:31and have been brave enough and courageous enough to kind of step up.
00:34So I guess that's the next battle that we have to fight as athletes.
00:37And I mean this as respectfully as possible,
00:42but ninth grade Lonzo Ball in the WNBA is going crazy.
00:47It's going crazy.
00:48All right.
00:48Because look, in ninth grade, I'm over six feet and I'm dunking.
00:51And like, I'm coming through the, like, no girl in the WNBA is doing that.
00:56I'm going back door, throw it up.
00:58Like, I'm looking like Jordan out there.
01:01So I'm going to just say that I mean this so respectfully.
01:04So great senior.
01:05Middle school down.
01:06I give it to the WNBA.
01:07I'm going to go probably eighth grade.
01:10Because look, I have real experience doing this because I played,
01:13my sisters went to University of Missouri and I was still a young dude
01:16and they had me playing like on the scout team.
01:18And they had a few WNBA players on the team like Sophie Cunningham
01:22and a couple others.
01:23And I think I was like in the seventh or eighth grade going dumb.
01:27I'm talking about, like, so I have real life experience.
01:30Like, it's just a difference, man.
01:33And I wish this would stop me in the conversation because it should be
01:36common sense.
01:37But, like, it's just not.
01:38But I appreciate, you know, common sense.
01:41I feel like sometimes that's lost a little bit.
01:45It's most certainly lost for sure.
01:47Common sense has left the building.
01:49That is for sure.
01:51We need to bring it back.
01:52For those of you that aren't familiar with who those gentlemen were,
01:56they're on the screen.
01:57This is Lonzo Ball.
02:01Former, not, he's currently an NBA player.
02:04I don't know who he plays for right now.
02:06And so is this guy.
02:07This is Michael Porter Jr.
02:10I want to say he plays for, like, the Portland Trail Blazers now or
02:14something.
02:14He used to play for the Denver Nuggets.
02:16But this guy is, like, 6'11 or 6'10.
02:19Lonzo Ball is, like, 6'4 or 6'5.
02:21Maybe a little bit taller.
02:22Maybe 6'6.
02:23Somewhere in there.
02:25So, you know, these are individuals who know basketball.
02:29They've played at the highest level.
02:30All right?
02:31As a matter of fact, Lonzo Ball's brother plays in the NBA as well.
02:35They are LeVar Ball's sons.
02:38Some of you might remember who LeVar Ball was.
02:41Or is, I should say.
02:41I shouldn't say was because he's still alive.
02:43That sounded bad.
02:44But anyway, yeah.
02:47I think they're right, honestly.
02:49And when you heard Michael Porter Jr. talk, he's like,
02:52I played against a current NBA player, Sophie Cunningham.
02:55My sisters played in college when I was in the 8th grade.
02:59I played against these women.
03:01I was killing.
03:02And I was an 8th grader.
03:06Bro, that's bad.
03:08That's real bad.
03:09Like, not even in high school.
03:10And he was out there hooping against them.
03:12That's terrible.
03:13That's absolutely terrible.
03:15But, so we got a couple of former NBA players.
03:19One of them being Enes Cantor.
03:21Who have announced their intention to join the WNBA.
03:33Because, of course, you know, as long as you say that you're a woman,
03:38you should be allowed to play is what they say.
03:40As you kind of heard that in that very first clip that I played for you all.
03:44So, now it's time to put up or shut up.
03:48Here we go.
03:54After careful consideration on reviewing the current eligibility guidelines,
03:58I am officially declaring myself a WNBA prospect.
04:01If simply declaring who you are is all that's required,
04:05then I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA.
04:09My team and I have carefully examined the WNBA's eligibility criteria
04:13and governing framework surrounding self-identification and inclusion.
04:17Based on the current guidelines,
04:19I can and am officially declaring my eligibility for the upcoming WNBA draft in May 2027.
04:25I am definitely not here to mock, make fun of,
04:28or to suspect any community or personal choices.
04:30I am simply asking that the current rules be applied equally to everyone.
04:35The rules that represent the very values many WNBA players and coaches have publicly advocated for.
04:41My team and I are prepared to ensure these guidelines are applied equally,
04:44consistently, and without exception.
04:47And I look forward to the WNBA honoring its stated principles.
04:51See you at training camp.
04:55For those of you who don't know who Enes Cantor is,
04:58I mean, the guy had, I don't know, 10, 12, maybe 14-year career.
05:05So he's not a spring chicken.
05:08So he played many years in the NBA.
05:10I want to say his best year, he averaged like 20 and 12 or something like that.
05:1620 points a game and 12 rebounds.
05:18So if he were to go out there and play against women,
05:21if you average 20 and 12 in the NBA, you're averaging 50 and 25 in the WNBA.
05:28Maybe 60 and 25 in the WNBA.
05:3160 points and 25 rebounds.
05:34Not to mention, Enes Cantor is 6'10".
05:40250 pounds.
05:42Yeah, so not a little guy.
05:45Not a small guy.
05:476'10", 250.
05:49All right?
05:54Man, oh man.
05:55I love how, you know, he talked about,
05:58hey, listen, he said I spoke with my team,
06:01but we all know what that means.
06:02I've spoken with my legal team.
06:04And hey, listen, based on your current rules and regulations,
06:09I should be eligible.
06:11And we're going to make sure that you live up to what your rules and regulations say.
06:17We're going to make sure that you don't discriminate against me.
06:20That's what I took out of what he said.
06:22So I absolutely love it.
06:23Time to put up or shut up.
06:25Here is also, oh, I forgot his name now.
06:30Jeez.
06:32Royce White.
06:33Royce White.
06:34He is also a former NBA player.
06:38First round draft pick, as a matter of fact.
06:40Actually, here it is.
06:41First round draft pick in 2012.
06:44Okay?
06:45So this guy was a nice college player.
06:48Obviously, if you're a first round draft pick.
06:51And not super, super long ago in 2012.
06:55Former NBA player.
06:56He also announced the same thing.
06:58Check it out.
07:00Oh, earlier this week, I made the announcement.
07:02I'm transgender.
07:03I'm a woman.
07:04I identify as sometimes identifying as a woman for purposes of basketball, professional basketball.
07:11So I'll be declaring for the WNBA draft in 2027 as well.
07:16I mean, I think I'd be unstoppable.
07:19But I'm a team first guy.
07:21You know, I'm a pass first kind of player.
07:24I do the little things.
07:25You know, I led my team in all five major stat categories at Iowa State University.
07:30So I do a little bit of everything.
07:31I'll do whatever the coach needs me to do.
07:33I'll do whatever the girls need me to do.
07:37All kidding aside, what is the reason for your decision to declare for the WNBA draft?
07:44No, I think it's only fair.
07:46I think it's only fair.
07:47I see other great minds, other great athlete political minds like Enos Cantor.
07:53You know, great minds think alike.
07:54And it's only fair that some of us get a shot to play in the Women's Association.
08:00I think I'd be a great fit.
08:02You know, I still have low mileage as a player.
08:06And, you know, I got the natural, fair skin and the nice, you know, thick eyelashes and whatnot.
08:12I haven't broken out my wigs yet, but I'm looking into some good ones.
08:16I don't know much about the wigs, but I'm looking into some.
08:19And I just hope that the bangs on the wig don't get into my eyesight so I can play like
08:24I need to play.
08:25What would stop you from declaring for the WNBA draft?
08:31I think the WNBA could come out and make a definitive statement about guys with a pair of balls playing
08:38in the Women's Association.
08:39But, you know, hey, that'd be probably too much like right.
08:45And unless they...
08:51Royce White isn't a small guy either.
08:54Okay, Royce White is about 6'8", 270.
08:58Okay.
09:00So, actually, he weighs a little bit more than Enes Kanter, even though Enes Kanter is a couple of inches
09:06taller than he is.
09:07Royce White is obviously a bigger bodied, wider shouldered kind of individual.
09:13So, yeah, that would be hilarious.
09:16Hilarious.
09:17And, like I said, according to their current rules, you know...
09:22We got two...
09:23Gotta let it play.
09:24Gotta let it play.
09:25And you know what else?
09:26And I was talking with somebody about this the other day.
09:29Yesterday, actually.
09:31It would be hilarious if the Indiana Fever, which is Caitlin Clark's team and Sophie Cunningham's team, their teammates.
09:40And Sophie Cunningham is the one that kind of got all of this started because she said, you know, no
09:44men should be playing in women's sports.
09:46And that sparked the whole thing.
09:48And that's kind of where this kind of stems from.
09:50And then, of course, you know, these women in the WNBA absolutely hate Caitlin Clark.
09:55They say they don't, but it's clear and obvious when, you know, when you watch some of these clips and
10:00things of, you know, even some of the refs.
10:03The refs are absolutely garbage.
10:05They should be fired for their negligence.
10:09I can't even say the word properly.
10:10Goodness gracious.
10:11I'm talking like Joe Biden right now.
10:12Now, negligence, you know, when it comes to these flagrant fouls against Caitlin Clark that never get called or against
10:21Sophie Cunningham, if I remember correct, too.
10:23She got, like, elbowed in the face and got a foul called against her.
10:26And I was like, whoa, wait, wait a minute.
10:28Now, of course, if they're committing fouls, you know, what's fair is fair.
10:31You know, if Sophie Cunningham commits a foul, call a foul on her.
10:34Or if Caitlin, same thing with Caitlin Clark, but, like, these games are not being called fair whatsoever.
10:40It's clear and obvious.
10:41Okay.
10:42I saw a clip of a chick who was going for a layup and literally kicked her legs out to
10:46kick Caitlin Clark that she wasn't even going to, Caitlin Clark wasn't even going to touch her.
10:51She was going to fly by, you know, and kind of swat at the ball.
10:54You know, basketball players, we do that from time to time.
10:56Right.
10:57Just so you're not wide open for a complete, you know, a completely easy layup.
11:02But we don't intend on actually touching you, you know, because obviously that's a foul.
11:06You know, so that's what Caitlin Clark was doing.
11:08She was jumping up, you know, just getting ready to swing at her just to try to, you know, make
11:12her miss, you know, without touching her.
11:15Well, she kicks her leg out, like, sticks her leg out to kick Caitlin, and that wasn't a foul.
11:20Like, that should be an offensive foul.
11:22That's not a natural movement that you do while you're in the air.
11:25That was clearly intentional, but, you know, no foul called.
11:28It would be hilarious if the Fever, Caitlin Clark's team, drafted these guys.
11:39And now, so now you have two former NBA players playing on one women's basketball team in the WNBA,
11:48absolutely dominating the WNBA with two of the individuals who are hated the most by the WNBA on that same
11:58team.
12:01That would be absolutely hilarious.
12:04Inez Cantor and Royce White on Caitlin Clark's team with Sophie Cunningham winning a WNBA championship in dominant fashion as
12:14the rest of the WNBA hate them.
12:16But what can they do?
12:17They said men can play, so.
12:21Clay Travis issued a interesting challenge.
12:26Now, this one is a little bit older.
12:28He issued this, like, some days ago, maybe even a week ago, where he challenged the WNBA players to play
12:36a boys' high school basketball team of his choice.
12:41Check it out.
12:41I've got two aggressive moves that I am undertaking here, and I'm 100% serious about this, and I'm going
12:50to share both of them with you.
12:52First of all, I will buy a WNBA expansion franchise as the primary owner of that franchise.
13:02I will bring them to my hometown where I do this show from, Nashville, Tennessee.
13:06I will pledge that 100% of my team will be trans.
13:12That will be men pretending to be women.
13:16Our entire coaching staff will be trans.
13:19That is men pretending to be women.
13:21We will not lose a single game.
13:24There are probably some games, Buck, where we will not even give up a single point.
13:29I will call this team the Nashville Balls, and I will become a dynastic sports owner.
13:37I will own a WNBA franchise.
13:40I will buy it, and I will play only men who identify as women.
13:44Wear wigs.
13:45We'll run around, do whatever we need to do to be officially classified as identifying as women.
13:51This is what they're now saying is permitted.
13:54I will do it.
13:55I will buy a team.
13:55I'll put my money where my mouth is.
13:57Secondly, before, Buck, you remember, I offered a million dollars.
14:02If the WNBA champ, which is right now the Las Vegas Aces, I believe,
14:08if they would play a boys' high school state championship team of my choosing,
14:13I would give a million dollars to the winning team.
14:16Buck, I will now give $10 million to the winning team.
14:22We will put this on pay-per-view.
14:24We will send all the profits, of which there will be probably tens of millions, to Tunnel
14:30to Towers, T2T.org, our good friends there, for mortgage-free homes for veterans, the families
14:36of veterans, first responders, police, people who have lost their lives defending this country.
14:42$10 million.
14:43I will wheel it out.
14:45I don't even know how much space.
14:47$10 million.
14:47We'll dump truck it out.
14:49Put it in the arena.
14:50A boys' high school team will get $10 million if they win the WNBA.
14:55They say that they're underpaid.
14:57They say that they're as good as men.
14:59Let's decide it once and for all.
15:01And I think you have to be hyperbolic to respond to the absurdity here, because if you are not,
15:09then they will just continue to chirp.
15:11They'll continue to talk.
15:12So I think you have to put money behind your words.
15:15I am taking them at their words, and I will put $10 million, boys' high school team, state
15:21champ of my choice, versus WNBA, and or I will also purchase a WNBA franchise and only play
15:30men who identify as women, and that is the trans community in the WNBA.
15:38Now, I'd be willing to make an additional bet that the WNBA would not take that bet.
15:45They wouldn't take it.
15:47$10 million.
15:48That is a massive payday, even if you want to say, you know, it has to be split amongst
15:54the players and whatnot.
15:55That is still a massive payday.
15:58Massive.
15:59Especially in comparison to what they were just being paid.
16:01Now, of course, they're being paid a bit more this year because of, you know, the new
16:07CBA, league CBA, but that's still huge.
16:13Absolutely huge.
16:14So, in my mind, there should be no reason why they wouldn't take that kind of payday.
16:20You know, if they're as good as they say they are, which, you know, there's a chick by the
16:26name of Brittany Griner who famously said that she would beat DeMarcus Cousins in a game of
16:32one-on-one, which, listen, that is just absolutely hilarious.
16:44Even post-injury, DeMarcus Cousins would dominate.
16:48DeMarcus Cousins is a guy who's 6'11", probably 290, maybe 300 pounds.
16:58Yeah.
17:07Yo, just the thought of that, you know, it's just hilarious.
17:11And don't get me wrong, Brittany Griner is a tall woman.
17:14I think Brittany Griner is probably 6'9", right?
17:17But still, a chick who's 6'9", versus a man who's 6'11", almost 300 pounds.
17:25And if you know who DeMarcus Cousins is, and you watched him play at any point in time,
17:31yeah, she's getting cooked.
17:32I mean, as Shaquille O'Neal would say, it's barbecue chicken.
17:39That is barbecue chicken.
17:42Now, they did come out with a response, and here it is.
17:45A message from WNBA PA, Players Association, player leadership.
17:51To everyone who loves this game, the WNBA PA represents 200-plus individual people
17:57with different lived experiences, cultures, lifestyles, and opinions.
18:01We embrace justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
18:06Those are the values that unite this union and allow it to protect women's sports
18:11while creating a transformational change.
18:14I would ask them, what is a woman?
18:17But anyway, hate, abuse, and demonization of any person or group of people,
18:22including transgender people, only fuel fear, division, and harm.
18:27We will continue to have hard conversations, but we will not be used as political pawns.
18:35Now, they're coming up with that.
18:36We're not going to be political pawns.
18:39Hold on.
18:39According to y'all, anyone who says they're a woman should be able to play.
18:47I mean, that's the rules.
18:49This ain't got nothing to do with politics or anything.
18:53This is the rules.
18:55Y'all set the rules, and we're following it.
19:00Support the players.
19:02Support the fans at games.
19:04Notify security if you witness hateful, violent, or abusive behavior.
19:10Online report abusive posts and drown out the bots and bad actors at home.
19:16Tell your elected officials to strengthen...
19:18I mean, you can't make this stuff up.
19:28Me, personally, I hope these former NBA players sue the league.
19:35Because, I mean, this is discrimination at this point, as far as I'm concerned, from what I can see.
19:41This seems like discrimination.
19:43Because according to their rules, you're allowed to do this.
19:49But because they may not have the right political stance, you're not allowing them to join?
19:57How does that make any type of sense?
20:00You know?
20:01That's crazy to me.
20:02So, we will see where this goes.
20:05We shall see where this goes.
20:06If we have any lawyers watching, let us all know.
20:11Is this grounds for a lawsuit?
20:15Because if you're following the rules, but they're still not allowing you to play because they don't like your political
20:23opinion...
20:25I don't know, man.
20:26Sounds a little bit hypocritical to me, but...
20:29Y'all get in the comments.
20:31Let me know your thoughts and your opinions.
20:32As always, stay safe out there.
20:33Peace and love.
20:34I'm out.
