00:02I just watched the first couple episodes of the Oblivious Saint can't contain her power and I
00:08think it is a bit of an interesting twist and what's sort of becoming a very common genre so
00:13if you haven't seen it it is a fantasy anime where you have two sisters of a noble family
00:18you've got the protagonist as well as her sister the protagonist is sort of the one who's looked
00:24down upon isn't thought that she's capable of much and sort of shunned in society and bullied
00:29by those around her whereas the sister takes all the attention is very popular in this series the
00:35protagonist is seen as being useless and not having any powers this is sort of praised for being someone
00:40who has immense magical ability and people think that she's the next saint and that she's going to
00:45do a lot to benefit the kingdom the protagonist ends up being sent away to a neighboring kingdom to be
00:50married to a noble there which ends up being the prince now it's quite interesting from what I've
00:57seen in these first two episodes I do not think that the protagonist is actually weak which makes
01:02sense that's a trope in a lot of these series where they actually end up having lots of power
01:06but based on what happens in the episode it looks like it is a bit more than that
01:09so while the protagonist Caroline is being transported with basically the army from the neighboring kingdom
01:15traveling back to their capital they get attacked and her to-be-husband's magical power is in a bit of
01:21out of control they try to use fire magic to protect her by encircling their carriage and there's some
01:27other similar events where in their presence people's power seems to be all powerful since
01:32when she wishes for some people to be healed who were engine attacks and the and the healers present
01:37didn't have the power to actually heal them will sort of suggest that she has the ability to amplify the
01:41magical power of those around her and based on this I think that the reason her sister has done so
01:47well and everyone thinks she's really powerful is because she's spending all time in the vicinity
01:52of her sister so that means her power is actually amplified even though they're not by themselves
01:56very strong and just the protagonist power who is the real saint that sort of made everyone think
02:01that her sister is actually the real saint because her power is being amplified and then since she's
02:06now moved to a neighboring kingdom that now means that she won't have these powers and will probably
02:12fail in the upcoming trials to become recognized as the saint and that's gonna have some negative effects
02:16on the kingdom that she had now left additionally something that suggested is that in the kingdom
02:22where carolina it's from there aren't any monster attacks in the capital or the surrounding regions
02:29even though they used to be before she was born and we're told that that is a power of the
02:34saint that
02:34sort of dispels or prevents these monsters from spawning which is why that's happened but because
02:40this evidence that carolina actually the saint that suggests that now that's going to end and then we'll
02:45understand why now there's monster attacks there because the saint should still be there
02:48so that sort of negative effect there as well in the kingdom where she's now moving to
02:52you would expect that they would no longer have these monster attacks so you're going to probably
02:57see a lot of things going on with her sister flora where she's going to go through a lot of
03:01trouble
03:02because now she's going to be stressed because why is her power suddenly no longer working
03:05and then with the way these shows tend to go but she didn't figure out that the protagonist carolina is
03:11the
03:11actual saint and now because flora is normally considered the saint she'll probably end up
03:16resenting carolina even though it's not really her fault and she hasn't actually done anything
03:20because now flora isn't going to have the power that she thinks that she is entitled to
03:25well that's basically my thoughts for the first couple episodes of my predictions
