00:00Welcome to a brand new series. I'm playing Total Extreme Wrestling 2020, and I'm taking control of WWE in June
00:09of 2002.
00:10Now, there are some things that I did change. I took Booker T, Goldust, Bubba Ray Dully, Spike Dully, and
00:17the Hardy Boys.
00:18I put them all on SmackDown. Why? So they can go after the tag team titles.
00:23Because SmackDown is going to be exclusive for the tag titles. The tag titles and Cruiserweight title are going to
00:30be exclusive to SmackDown.
00:32However, I took Ivory. I took Linda Miles. I put them on Raw. I brought up a few other guys
00:39like Canyon, Sean O'Hare.
00:41I put them on Raw because to make up for the guys that I put on SmackDown, Raw is going
00:49to have all the ladies except for managers.
00:52So, like, Tori Wilson manages Tajiri at this point. She's still on SmackDown.
00:59I forget who Dawn Marie managed, or if she managed anyone at this time.
01:06But she's on SmackDown. Stacey Keebler's still on SmackDown because they're not wrestlers.
01:11They're basically there to be valets for whoever they manage.
01:18And that's the way I'm going to be running this.
01:23So, let's run. I'm going to run Sunday Night Heat and Monday Night War.
01:28And let's see how this goes.
01:34So, Christopher Nowinski comes out for a promo.
01:37He's wearing a sweater, vest, and slacks, and the crowd's booing as he gets into the ring.
01:43And he goes,
02:02He then adjusts his sweater, and he goes,
02:09You see, I graduated from a Harvard University, which gets more booze.
02:15Chris Nowinski goes,
02:16And before any of you ask,
02:18No, that isn't a community college.
02:20Nowinski chuckles because he thinks he made a funny joke.
02:24Chris Nowinski goes,
02:25At Harvard, I learned discipline.
02:26I learned strategy.
02:28I learned that success isn't determined by who yells the loudest.
02:31It's determined by who is smarter than everyone else.
02:35He points towards the camera.
02:36He goes,
02:37The difference between me and the rest of the locker room is simple.
02:40Most of them rely on instinct.
02:42I rely on preparation.
02:44Most of them hope they'll win.
02:46I know why I'll win.
02:48And he goes,
02:50You can boo all you want.
02:51That doesn't change the facts.
02:53Intelligence beats emotion.
02:55Preparation beats talent.
02:56Knowledge beats strength.
02:58And sooner or later,
02:59Every superstar in that locker room is going to learn the same lesson all of you are learning tonight.
03:04He points to himself and he goes,
03:06The smartest man in the room.
03:08He takes a pause and he goes,
03:10Is standing in this ring.
03:11Then he drops the mic and exits the ring to eat more booze.
03:21And this got a 40.
03:24And it is Sunday night heat,
03:26So I don't really have to worry about the segment ratings too much.
03:30In an abysmal match,
03:31Bull Buchanan drew with Johnny the Bull following a double disqualification.
03:35And this got a 23.
03:40So Canyon is backstage.
03:44And Canyon goes,
03:45You know what I've noticed around here?
03:47Every week it's the same names.
03:49The Undertaker,
03:50Triple H,
03:50Stone Cold Steve Austin,
03:52Ric Flair,
03:53Brock Lesnar.
03:54Every show,
03:55every interview,
03:56every headline.
03:57And where does that leave anybody else?
03:59Where does that leave me?
04:01And he points at himself.
04:02He goes,
04:03I've been everywhere.
04:05I've won championships.
04:06I have reinvented myself time and time again.
04:09I can wrestle anybody.
04:10I can outthink anybody.
04:12I can outwork anybody.
04:14He laughs.
04:14And he goes,
04:15But nobody wants to talk about that.
04:17He goes,
04:18You know what everybody used to say?
04:19He goes,
04:20What about me?
04:21What about Raven?
04:23And he smirks.
04:24And he goes,
04:24Well, Raven isn't the only one asking questions anymore.
04:27He points to himself.
04:28And he says,
04:29What about me?
04:30What about Canyon?
04:32And he goes,
04:33Every week I watched opportunities handed to people who haven't earned them.
04:38Meanwhile,
04:38I'm expected to sit in the back and wait my turn.
04:41I'm done waiting.
04:42I'm done being overlooked.
04:44Sooner or later,
04:45everybody in this company is going to have to answer the same question.
04:49He looks directly in the camera and goes,
04:51What about Canyon?
04:53He drops the mic and leaves the ring.
05:00And this got a 55.
05:04By the way,
05:05Canyon was in developmental.
05:07That's where I think Sean O'Hare was also.
05:11In an abysmal match,
05:13Tommy Dreamer defeated David Flair by pinfall.
05:16The reason these guys don't have pictures,
05:18you're going to see more.
05:19They're basically borrowed from developmental.
05:23The roster was kind of small because you got two hours for a war.
05:28You got one hour for heat.
05:29And I didn't really want to use anyone on heat that I used on war.
05:34And then I said,
05:35Okay,
05:35well,
05:36they just had an interview or promo on war.
05:39I can use them on heat.
05:41Kind of solved the problem a little bit.
05:43And there just wasn't really anybody to bring in that was a local worker.
05:51So,
05:52we got a Sean O'Hare promo next.
05:55The camera cuts.
05:56He's standing alone in a darkened hallway wearing a suit.
05:58He looks into the camera and goes,
06:01Everybody has an opinion.
06:03Everybody thinks they know what's right.
06:05They know how people should act.
06:06They know how people should live.
06:08But I've noticed something.
06:10Most people spend their entire lives following rules they never questioned.
06:14He starts walking down in the hallway.
06:16He goes,
06:17You're told to go to school.
06:18You're told to get a job.
06:19You're told to work hard and wait your turn.
06:22And you're told that eventually you'll get everything you deserve.
06:26He smirks.
06:27And he goes,
06:28But deep down,
06:29you know that's not true.
06:30He goes,
06:31Because every day,
06:32people who play by the rules get passed over.
06:34Every day,
06:35people who do what they're told watch someone else take what they want.
06:39And then they wonder why they aren't happy.
06:41He looks into the camera and he goes,
06:44The answer is simple.
06:45They've been conditioned to accept the less.
06:47He stops walking and he goes,
06:50World wrestling entertainment is no different.
06:52You have people here who have convinced themselves they are successful
06:55because someone else told them they were.
06:57You have people who believe they are stars because they were handed an opportunity.
07:02But real success,
07:04real power,
07:05comes from understanding the truth.
07:07He steps closer to the camera.
07:09He goes,
07:10The truth is,
07:10nobody is going to hand you anything.
07:13Nobody is going to save you.
07:15Nobody is going to make you great.
07:16That's your responsibility.
07:18He smiles and he goes,
07:20And maybe you don't want to hear that.
07:22Maybe it's easier to believe that everything happens for a reason.
07:25Maybe it's easier to blame somebody else.
07:28And he goes,
07:29But the truth has a funny way of finding people.
07:32He looks into the camera and he goes,
07:33I'm not here to tell you what you want to hear.
07:35I'm not here to make you feel better.
07:37I'm here to tell you the truth.
07:39And I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.
07:44Yes,
07:44that's the character that I want to do with Sean O'Hare.
07:48The devil's advocate gimmick that they really never gave a chance.
07:52I mean,
07:52it was great for the few weeks they had it,
07:54and then they just discontinued it for no reason.
07:58So,
08:00that's the character I have planned for him.
08:05In an abysmal match,
08:06D'Lo Brown defeated Steve Bradley by submission.
08:09This guy at 34.
08:10Steve Bradley's also in development.
08:16So,
08:17Lillian Garcia is backstage,
08:18and she goes,
08:19Ladies and gentlemen,
08:20welcome my guest at this time,
08:22the WWF Women's Champion,
08:24Trish Stratus.
08:25And Lillian goes,
08:27Trish,
08:27you successfully defended the Women's Championship
08:29against some of the toughest competitors in the WWF.
08:32With the Women's Division continuing to grow,
08:34everyone wants to know one thing.
08:37Who's next?
08:38And Trish goes,
08:39That's exactly the question I've been asking myself.
08:41Every time I step into the ring,
08:43somebody wants to prove they deserve this championship.
08:46And she goes,
08:47Honestly,
08:48that's the way it should be.
08:49Being Women's Champion is about picking and choosing who you defend against.
08:52It's about proving you're the best every single time you walk through that curtain.
08:57And Lillian Garcia says,
08:58So are you sending a message to the rest of the women's locker room?
09:01And Trish Stratus says,
09:03Absolutely.
09:03Whether it's Molly Holly,
09:05Jazz,
09:06Ivory,
09:07Jacqueline,
09:08Lita,
09:08or anyone else who thinks they're ready.
09:10She looks into the camera and goes,
09:12If you believe you've earned a shot at this championship,
09:15she raises it.
09:16She goes,
09:17Come prove it.
09:17I'll be ready.
09:19Lillian Garcia says,
09:20Strong words from the Women's Champion.
09:22Thank you for your time,
09:23Trish.
09:23Trish smiles and goes,
09:26Trish says,
09:27Anytime,
09:27smiles,
09:28places the championship back on her shoulder,
09:30and walks off.
09:31And this got a 53.
09:36Then in the main event for Sunday Night Heat,
09:39an abysmal match,
09:40Brock Lesnar and Raven defeated ECMO and Kimo.
09:43When Brock Lesnar submitted ECMO,
09:47ECMO and Kimo were Jamal and Rosie,
09:51respectively,
09:52before they became Three Minute Warning.
09:57Yeah,
09:58and like I said,
09:59this is,
09:59this is 2002,
10:01so they weren't,
10:02they were still in developmental at the time.
10:06Brock benefited from having public support.
10:09So,
10:10yeah,
10:11I mean,
10:11these guys are like either stars or well-known in developmental.
10:15I didn't,
10:15I didn't think to bring up,
10:17I didn't think I should bring up people who are unimportant in developmental.
10:22Um,
10:23and,
10:24you know,
10:25I figure maybe if they get a match or so or two on heat against people that I didn't have
10:30anything for on war,
10:31except maybe a promo,
10:34then that will help them get at developmental faster by becoming a major star in developmental.
10:42We'll see how that goes.
10:43Uh,
10:44the final grade for Sunday Night Heat was 43.
10:50So now it's time for Monday Night Raw.
10:53Why not,
10:54let's just start the show.
11:00Raw opens,
11:01Ric Flair's already in the ring,
11:02wearing a suit,
11:03holding a microphone.
11:04Commentary,
11:05excuse me,
11:05he says,
11:05last week,
11:06Stone Cold made it clear he wants to prove he's still the biggest name in this business.
11:10But tonight,
11:11Ric Flair has something to say about that.
11:13And Ric Flair goes,
11:14Stone Cold Steve Austin,
11:16for years I have watched you walk into this business and disrespect everything that came before you.
11:21You walked into this company,
11:22you ignored the rules,
11:24you ignored tradition,
11:25and you acted like nobody mattered except Stone Cold Steve Austin.
11:29He goes,
11:29Well Steve,
11:30let me remind you of something.
11:32This business existed before you.
11:34This business will exist after you.
11:36And for decades,
11:37this business has had one name at the time.
11:40The crowd chants,
11:42Woo!
11:42when Flair raises his hand.
11:44And he goes,
11:45I traveled the world.
11:46I competed against the greatest wrestlers alive.
11:49I earned every ounce of respect I have.
11:52But you?
11:52Flair shakes his head and goes,
11:54You didn't earn respect.
11:55You demanded it.
11:56You didn't become the face of this company
11:58because you respected professional wrestling.
12:00You became the face of this company
12:02because you treated everyone like they were beneath you.
12:05And Flair goes,
12:06You didn't respect Vince McMahon.
12:07You didn't respect your opponents.
12:09And you sure as hell didn't respect me when I walked into this company.
12:13You looked at Ric Flair and thought,
12:15I was just another old man trying to hang on.
12:18Well Steve,
12:19Flair steps towards the camera and goes,
12:22The Nature Boy isn't hanging on.
12:24The Nature Boy is still the standard.
12:26And then Austin Music hits,
12:28Austin comes out onto the stage.
12:30And he goes,
12:31You know Rick?
12:32He laughs.
12:33He goes,
12:34I was wondering how long it would take
12:35before you started talking about respect.
12:38Austin gets in the ring.
12:39He goes,
12:39You keep saying I don't respect people.
12:41You're right.
12:42I don't respect people
12:43who think they deserve respect
12:45just because they demand it.
12:46That gets a cheer from the crowd.
12:48He goes,
12:49I respect people who earn it.
12:51Austin steps closer and goes,
12:52And Rick?
12:53You've earned a lot.
12:54You've had an incredible career.
12:55But somewhere along the way,
12:57you started believing your own hype.
13:00So Flair has a scowl on his face.
13:02And Austin goes,
13:03You think because you wore the robe,
13:05because you yelled,
13:06Woo!
13:06Because you held championships,
13:08that everybody has to bow down?
13:09Well,
13:10Stone Cold doesn't bow down to anybody.
13:13And Ric Flair goes,
13:14There it is.
13:14That's exactly what I'm talking about.
13:16You think disrespect makes you a rebel.
13:19You think ignoring everyone who came before you
13:21makes you tough.
13:22But Steve Austin,
13:23there's a difference between being a rebel,
13:25that he points at Austin,
13:26and being a disrespectful punk.
13:30Ric Flair goes,
13:31At King of the Ring,
13:31I'm going to teach you something
13:33your entire career has failed to teach you.
13:35Austin smiles and goes,
13:37Well, Ric,
13:38at King of the Ring,
13:39you can bring your robe,
13:40you can bring your history,
13:42you can bring every championship you ever won.
13:44Then the smile disappears and goes,
13:46But when that bell rings,
13:48all that matters is you,
13:50me,
13:51and who walks out the winner,
13:52and that's the bottom line.
13:54And then the crowd finishes it,
13:55because Stone Cold said so.
13:58Austin drives the mic,
14:00and Flair backs away,
14:01but keeping his eyes on Stone Cold.
14:03And this got a 76.
14:11So,
14:11in an abysmal match,
14:13Jazz defeated Jacqueline and Ivory
14:14in a triple threat match,
14:16when Jazz made Ivory submit to the STF
14:18that got a 47.
14:20Then Eddie Guerrero comes out.
14:24And Eddie goes,
14:25You know,
14:26I've been standing in the back all night,
14:27listening to everybody talk about
14:29Stone Cold Steve Austin,
14:30Ric Flair,
14:31The Undertaker,
14:32Triple H.
14:33Every week,
14:34it's the same thing.
14:35Everybody wants to talk about
14:36the biggest names
14:37in world wrestling entertainment.
14:39He goes,
14:40That's fine.
14:40But while everybody's busy
14:42talking about yesterday's stars,
14:43they're forgetting about the guy
14:45who's going to be standing here tomorrow.
14:47The crowd boos,
14:48and Eddie goes,
14:49I've spent my entire career
14:51proving people wrong.
14:52I've wrestled all over the world.
14:54I've won championships
14:55everywhere I've been.
14:56And somehow,
14:57there are still people
14:58who look at Eddie Guerrero
14:59and think,
15:00I'm just another guy.
15:01Eddie chuckles and goes,
15:03Big mistake.
15:04He points towards the entrance,
15:05because there isn't one man
15:07in that locker room
15:08who can out-wrestle me.
15:09Not because I say so,
15:10but because every time
15:11I step into this ring,
15:13I prove it.
15:14So the boos get louder.
15:15And Eddie goes,
15:16I don't care how big you are.
15:18I don't care how popular you are.
15:20I sure don't care
15:20how many championships you've won.
15:22When that bell rings,
15:24every one of you
15:24is standing in my room.
15:26So Eddie leans on the ropes,
15:28peering to the ramp.
15:29And Eddie goes,
15:30So here's what we're going to do.
15:31Instead of standing back there,
15:33waiting for an opportunity,
15:34I'm going to make one for myself.
15:37Anybody in that locker room
15:38who thinks they're better
15:39than Eddie Guerrero,
15:41come out here.
15:42Step into this ring,
15:43and let's see if you can back it up.
15:45And Eddie tosses the mic to the mat,
15:47waiting for an opponent.
15:49This promo got a 59.
15:51A little low for Eddie,
15:52but then again,
15:53he's not really a main eventer yet.
15:57This was around the time
15:59he was aligned with Flair
16:03when Flair had his rivalry
16:04with Stone Cold.
16:05But Eddie was
16:08kind of like the...
16:11Eddie hadn't really reached...
16:15He wasn't as good...
16:17He wasn't as big as he was in 2000,
16:19like when he was with China,
16:23or in 2001.
16:26And he's like in between
16:28his two biggest stints
16:30in the WWE.
16:34So,
16:35Crash Holly comes out.
16:37In about to head subpar wrestling
16:39and little heat,
16:40Eddie Guerrero defeated
16:40Crash Holly by pinfall.
16:42And surprisingly,
16:43this got a 65.
16:46In a decent match,
16:48Rob Van Damme defeated
16:49X-Pac by pinfall
16:50with a five-star frog splash.
16:52This guy is 74.
16:54So,
16:54Rob Van Damme
16:56has knocked X-Pac
16:57out of the King of the Ring tournament.
16:58In case you're wondering,
17:00yes,
17:00King of the Ring
17:00is going to be
17:01eight guys from SmackDown,
17:02eight guys from Raw.
17:03I think just the semifinals
17:05and finals will happen
17:06at the actual pay-per-view.
17:08The qualifying matches
17:09like this one
17:10and the quarterfinals
17:12are going to happen on TV.
17:16So,
17:16the NWO went from
17:18four guys in the tournament
17:19to three.
17:19Paul Heyman's music hits.
17:22He's in the ring
17:22with Brock Lesnar.
17:23Brock's just standing there
17:25and Paul Heyman
17:26takes a mic
17:27and he goes,
17:28Ladies and gentlemen,
17:29my name
17:30is Paul Heyman.
17:32You get cheers
17:33and boos.
17:35And Paul Heyman goes,
17:36and standing behind me
17:37is not just the future
17:38of the world
17:39wrestling entertainment.
17:41He is the most
17:41gifted athlete
17:42to ever step inside
17:43a WWE ring.
17:45Heyman turns to Brock
17:47and goes,
17:48Take a good look.
17:49Six foot three.
17:50Nearly 300 pounds.
17:51An NCAA heavyweight
17:53wrestling champion.
17:54Strength that cannot be taught.
17:56Speed that cannot be coached.
17:58Aggression that cannot be contained.
18:00Heyman points into the camera
18:01and goes,
18:02The locker room
18:02has spent years
18:03fighting one another
18:04for championships.
18:05All that ends
18:06because Brock Lesnar
18:08is here.
18:08And that gets boozed.
18:10Paul Heyman goes,
18:11Every superstar
18:12in that locker room
18:13should be terrified
18:14because every dream
18:15they've ever had
18:16belongs to Brock Lesnar now.
18:18And then D-Lo Brown
18:19use the kits
18:20and he comes out.
18:21He doesn't rush to the ring.
18:23He just looks at Heyman
18:24and he goes,
18:25Paul,
18:26I've heard a lot of
18:26introductions over the years.
18:28I've heard people
18:30call somebody
18:31the next big thing.
18:32I've heard people
18:33promise championships.
18:34I've heard people say
18:35somebody's going to
18:36take over the WWE.
18:38Then he starts
18:38walking down the ramp
18:39and D-Lo Brown goes,
18:41You know what?
18:41I'm not impressed.
18:43He gets in the ring
18:44and goes face to face
18:45with Brock and goes,
18:46Brock Lesnar might be strong.
18:47He might be fast.
18:49He might be everything
18:50you say he is.
18:51But around here,
18:52you earn respect.
18:54He goes,
18:55I've been in this company
18:56for years.
18:56I've been knocked down.
18:58I fought through injuries.
18:59I've won championships.
19:00Nobody handed me
19:01a spotlight.
19:02D-Lo points at Brock
19:03and goes,
19:04If this guy wants
19:05to be the future,
19:06he can start by proving it.
19:08So Heyman laughs
19:09and goes,
19:09D-Lo,
19:10you don't get it.
19:11You spent years
19:12proving you
19:12where you belong.
19:13Brock Lesnar
19:14doesn't have to prove
19:15anything.
19:15That gets bruised
19:16and Paul goes,
19:18Because Brock Lesnar
19:19was born to dominate.
19:20You survived.
19:21He conquers.
19:22So D-Lo gets closer
19:24to Brock
19:24and goes,
19:25Then let's see him
19:26dominate me.
19:27And then Brock
19:29shoves D-Lo.
19:30So D-Lo fires back
19:31and before they can fight,
19:33they're broken up.
19:36And this promo
19:37got a 54.
19:41So,
19:42yeah.
19:43Why is Brock
19:44not in the
19:45King of the Ring tournament
19:46in case you ask?
19:48What I did,
19:49when I redid the
19:50Rocksters,
19:50I took the,
19:52I was like,
19:53okay,
19:53forget Untaker,
19:54Triple H,
19:55they're wrestling
19:55for the title
19:55of King of the Ring.
19:57Give me the,
19:57I took the eight,
20:00biggest,
20:00the eight most popular
20:01guys from war,
20:02eight most popular
20:03from SmackDown
20:04and I put them
20:06in the tournament.
20:08That's,
20:09so that's how,
20:10that's why Brock Lesnar
20:13is in a rivalry
20:14with,
20:15or starting a rivalry
20:16with D-Lo Brown.
20:21In another
20:22King of the Ring
20:22qualifier,
20:23Kevin Nash
20:24defeats William Regal
20:25by submission.
20:26So Kevin Nash
20:27survives
20:27and this guy's 72.
20:29So Raven's music
20:31starts,
20:31he walks to the ring
20:32with a shopping
20:33cart,
20:33looking disgusted
20:34with the crowd.
20:35He sits in the
20:36corner of the ring
20:37and Raven goes,
20:38do you know
20:39what the worst
20:39part of this
20:40business is?
20:41It isn't the
20:41injuries,
20:42it isn't the
20:43travel,
20:43it isn't the
20:44pain.
20:44He shakes his head.
20:45He goes,
20:46the worst part
20:47is watching people
20:48with less talent
20:48get opportunity
20:49after opportunity
20:50while you sit
20:51in the back.
20:52He goes,
20:53week after week,
20:53I watch the same
20:54people get
20:55television time,
20:56the same people
20:56get title matches,
20:58the same people
20:58get praised
20:59as the future
21:00of this company.
21:01He laughs
21:01and he goes,
21:02meanwhile,
21:03Raven waits.
21:05He goes,
21:05I've reinvented
21:06myself more times
21:07than most of this
21:08locker room has
21:08changed ring gear.
21:09I've won championships,
21:11I've headlined arenas,
21:12I've survived
21:13everywhere I've been.
21:14He looks into the
21:15camera and he goes,
21:17yet,
21:17somehow,
21:18I'm expected to sit
21:19quietly while
21:20everyone pretends
21:22I don't exist.
21:23Raven shrugs
21:24and he goes,
21:25maybe they're afraid,
21:26maybe they know
21:27exactly what happens
21:28when Raven finally
21:28gets his chance.
21:30And then Tommy
21:31Dreamer's music
21:32plays as
21:34Dreamer comes
21:36and Dreamer goes,
21:37Raven,
21:38I've known you
21:38a long time,
21:40long enough to know
21:41that when things
21:41don't go your way,
21:42you always find
21:43somebody else to blame.
21:44He goes,
21:45the office,
21:46the fans,
21:47the locker room,
21:48anybody except
21:49the guy looking
21:49back at you
21:50in the mirror.
21:51And Dreamer goes,
21:52look,
21:53do you think
21:53I've gotten
21:53everything I wanted?
21:54Do you think
21:55my career has gone
21:56exactly the way
21:57I planned?
21:57Dreamer shakes
21:58his head
21:59and he goes,
22:00no,
22:00but every time
22:01somebody gave me
22:01an opportunity,
22:02I fought.
22:04Dreamer goes,
22:05you know something,
22:06these people didn't
22:07buy a ticket tonight
22:07to hear Tommy Dreamer
22:09complain and they
22:10shouldn't buy a ticket
22:11to hear Raven complain.
22:12They came here
22:13to watch wrestlers fight.
22:15Dreamer goes,
22:16so stop talking,
22:17stop making excuses
22:18and let's give
22:19these people
22:20what they came to see.
22:21Raven slowly
22:22gets to his feet
22:23with a small smile
22:25and Raven goes,
22:26you still don't
22:26get it,
22:27do you Dreamer?
22:28You never did.
22:29Raven goes,
22:30you fight
22:30because you think
22:31it'll change something.
22:32I fight
22:33because eventually
22:34everyone disappoints you.
22:36Raven drops the mic,
22:38Dreamer drops his,
22:39they're standing
22:40just a few inches apart
22:42but before they can start
22:44before they can
22:45start punching each other
22:46they're separated.
22:49And this guy
22:50to 51.
22:54in a bout that had
22:55terrible wrestling
22:56and non-existent crowd heat
22:57Molly Holly
22:58defeated Lita
22:59by submission
23:00and this guy
23:01to 58.
23:03And then
23:04Molly Holly
23:05was beating down
23:06Lita after the match
23:07and Trish came out
23:09to the
23:10to the
23:10to rescue Lita
23:12and this only got
23:14a 41
23:14unfortunately.
23:19in a bout that
23:21great wrestling
23:22and good heat
23:22Kane defeated
23:23the Big Show
23:24by pinfall
23:24with a choke slam.
23:26So this guy
23:26is 76
23:27and Big Show
23:30is out of the tournament.
23:31So it's all up
23:32to Kevin Nash
23:33and see if
23:34Shawn Michaels
23:34is still in the tournament
23:36after his match.
23:38So,
23:39so far
23:39the four people
23:41that won
23:42their qualifying match
23:43is Robin
23:44and them
23:45Kevin Nash
23:46Kane
23:47and then the winner
23:48and then we still got
23:49one more to go.
23:50Kane and the Big Show
23:51have great chemistry
23:52and it showed.
23:55Then we have
23:56The Undertaker
23:56come out to address
23:57Triple H
23:58because this is the
24:00undisputed championship
24:01it switches shows
24:02I mean
24:03there'll be like
24:04whoever wins
24:05King of the Ring
24:06will get the title shot
24:07at SummerSlam
24:07regardless of brand.
24:09Whoever wins
24:10the Royal Wumble
24:11will get the title shot
24:12at WrestleMania
24:12regardless of brand
24:14but like
24:15other than that
24:16it's going to be
24:17alternating shows.
24:20Hogan got it
24:21from Backlash
24:23Smackdown
24:24Undertaker got it
24:25at Judgment Day
24:26he was wrong.
24:27Triple H
24:28on Smackdown
24:28gets it
24:30he's Smackdown
24:31so like
24:32at Vengeance
24:33it's going to be
24:33somebody
24:34from Raw
24:35getting a title shot.
24:38And so
24:39The Sound of a Motorcycle
24:41fills the arena
24:41as Roland hits
24:42The Undertaker
24:43comes out
24:44with the WWF
24:45championship
24:45he parks the motorcycle
24:47gets in the ring
24:48with the title
24:49he takes a microphone
24:50and he goes
24:52last week
24:53Triple H
24:53walked out here
24:54looked me dead
24:55in the eye
24:56and told me
24:56if I give him a shot
24:57at this championship
24:58he raises it
24:59he goes
25:00I wouldn't be
25:01walking out with it
25:02he smirks
25:03and he goes
25:04Hunter
25:04you've got guts
25:05I'll give you that
25:06not many men
25:07are willing to
25:08stand across from me
25:09and make promises
25:09they can't keep
25:10the crowd boos
25:12and Undertaker goes
25:13you call yourself
25:14the game
25:14you call yourself
25:15the man
25:16who's going to
25:16lead this company
25:17into the future
25:18you think because
25:19you've climbed to the top
25:20you're entitled
25:21to what's mine
25:23Undertaker shakes his head
25:24and goes
25:24that's not how this works
25:26he places it on his shoulder
25:27and he goes
25:28I've been carrying this company
25:29long before you started
25:31calling yourself the game
25:32I've been through wars
25:33I fought legends
25:34I buried careers
25:36and every single one
25:37of them believed
25:38they were going to be
25:38the man who took
25:39this championship
25:40away from me
25:42and they were wrong
25:43Undertaker walks
25:44across the way
25:45he goes
25:45you know what your
25:46biggest mistake was
25:47last week
25:48it wasn't challenging me
25:49it wasn't saying
25:50you could beat me
25:51your biggest mistake
25:52and he points into the camera
25:53was thinking
25:54you get to decide
25:55when I lose
25:57he goes
25:57I'm the WWF champion
25:59I decide
26:01or actually
26:01it's WWE
26:02I'm the WWE champion
26:04I decide
26:05when this championship
26:06gets defended
26:07I decide
26:08who gets the opportunity
26:09and if you ever
26:10get your hands
26:11on this title
26:11Undertaker holds up
26:12Undertaker goes
26:14it'll be because
26:15I gave you the chance
26:16not because
26:17you demanded it
26:19Undertaker leans
26:20on the ropes
26:20and goes
26:21Hunter
26:21you've got all
26:22the talent in the world
26:23you've got confidence
26:24you've got ability
26:26but confidence
26:27has a funny way
26:27of turning into arrogance
26:29and arrogance
26:30gets people hurt
26:31the crowd
26:32booze again
26:32Undertaker goes
26:34you think you figured me out
26:35you think one match
26:36one night
26:37one pedigree
26:38is all it's going to take
26:39Undertaker laughs
26:41and goes
26:41son
26:42I've been hearing that story
26:43for over a decade
26:44he taps the center plate
26:46of the championship
26:47and Undertaker goes
26:48this championship
26:49isn't on my shoulder
26:50because somebody
26:51handed it to me
26:52it's here because
26:53I wanted it
26:54and I took it
26:55and you're lucky enough
26:56to get your shot
26:57Undertaker looks
26:58into the camera
26:59and goes
26:59you're going to find out
27:00exactly why
27:01I'm still here
27:02as the WWE champion
27:04he raises it
27:05and goes
27:05Triple H
27:06you want this
27:07then you better bring
27:09more than confidence
27:10because when you step
27:11into my yard
27:12you better be ready
27:13for a fight
27:14you won't ever forget
27:16Undertaker drops the mic
27:17his music starts again
27:19and he raises
27:20the WWE championship
27:22in the center of the ring
27:26and this promo
27:27got
27:27a 73
27:30alright
27:31so let's see
27:32what the
27:33let's see
27:34what the
27:34final King of the Ring
27:35match
27:37how that
27:38plays out
27:40in a decent match
27:41Shawn Michaels
27:42defeated Bradshaw
27:43by pinfall
27:44with sweet chin music
27:45and this got
27:46a 78
27:48so let's see
27:49what the final
27:50grade for the show
27:50was
27:5367
27:53lost popularity
27:54because
27:56of the storylines
27:58that's another thing
27:59I had to do
27:59this
28:00was where
28:01WWE
28:02didn't have to
28:03win storylines
28:04because there was
28:05some company
28:05that didn't even
28:06need matches
28:07on TV
28:08and if you just
28:09try to put matches
28:10on anyway
28:10that hurts your
28:12score even more
28:14so yeah
28:14I'm either going to
28:15have to
28:16do either
28:17I'm trying to
28:18build up
28:19like I got the
28:20King of the Ring
28:20tournament as a
28:21storyline
28:22you've seen the
28:23storylines I have
28:24at least for
28:24war
28:26and some of them
28:27are just starting
28:27well actually
28:29most all of them
28:29are just starting
28:30but
28:33yeah
28:34I'm just
28:34either
28:35I'm just going to
28:35do this
28:36or if I lose
28:37popularity
28:38and become
28:39like
28:39and fall in
28:40popularity size
28:42the only competition
28:43is TNA
28:44and they're
28:45just starting out
28:46so
28:49you know
28:49because it's
28:50really hard to
28:51get five storylines
28:52at one time
28:54over the pop
28:54over with more
28:55than 70 heat
28:56each
28:57at the same
28:58time
29:01so
29:02that's
29:03that was
29:04Monday Night
29:04War
29:04so
29:05yes
29:07next time
29:08will be
29:10Velocity
29:11and Smackdown
29:12until then
29:14goodnight
29:15everyone
