00:23home from the nearest serviced bus stop in Bonner.
00:26As a parent that is absolutely terrifying, something insidious could have happened, thank God nothing did, he came home safely.
00:33So from that day we now escort our child to and from the bus stop.
00:38She's one of a growing number of residents in Jackar, which is in its second stage of development.
00:44Six new bus stops are planned, but none are currently serviced.
00:48Instead, residents are left with one stop on the suburbs outskirts or a neighbouring Bonner.
00:53Not every people can afford a car, I reckon. What about people that don't drive, don't have licences?

01:05In a statement, the ACT government says a full network planning cycle is used to decide how bus services are
01:12introduced to new suburbs.
01:13It says Jackar is included in Transport Canberra's forward planning program alongside other suburbs across the ACT.
01:21But there is no confirmed timeframe for the buses to service for new stops.
