00:02The bus timetable was changed to accommodate the Commonwealth Bridgeworks, but the reduction
00:07of some rapid services hasn't gone down well.
00:10It used to be every 15 minutes with the R3.
00:12In this part of the world it became the Route 11, E11.
00:17That was every half an hour, so they reduced the service.
00:20Transport Canberra has decided to return Rapid 2 and 3 services to their previous timetable,
00:26which means they will again head to West Belconnen, a welcome change for some.
00:31It added another 20 minutes to the trip to Civic.
00:34The R2 and R3 will also resume between the airport and Spence, and between Fraser and Fishwick,
00:40and the new timetable will include more Rapid services to and from Woden to address demand.
00:45There were a number going through saying full, full, full.
00:48There obviously were more people catching the buses and less buses running.
00:52There's also been criticism of some changes to Tuggeranong services.
00:55You've got to get from here to Civic, and if that bus ain't there from there to Civic,
00:59well then you need to make over the room, and it's not an easy thing to do if you've
01:03got a couple of kids.
01:04The new timetable will include more Rapid 4 and 5 buses to Canberra South.
01:08It's much better than going all around everywhere else, and if you can just get to where you're
01:13going, you know, and get there as quickly as possible, that's great.
01:17The new timetable will come into effect on July 20 to accommodate the start of the next
01:22school term.
01:22is very uncomfortable as she lets face around.
