00:04When this man found these abandoned puppies on a hike at dusk,
00:07he knew that he had to act fast to get them to safety
00:09as they wouldn't survive a night on their own in the wilderness.
00:12They were just way too tiny.
00:16One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
00:24He couldn't safely carry seven puppies by himself back from the trail,
00:28so we called for reinforcements and waited with the pups until help arrived.
00:32We're going up the hill. A little lost sheep. Seven.
00:37The team got them settled to safety and fed them immediately.
00:39They were clearly hungry, dehydrated, but so grateful to be in a home.

00:45The next morning, they were detached to their rescuer,
00:47climbing up his legs any chance they got.
00:49Hi, ladies. Are you ready for lunch?
00:52They kept drinking well and eating even better.
00:55Everyone was relieved that they were old enough to eat kibble,
00:57as their mama was nowhere to be found on the trail.
01:00When they weren't rapidously eating, they were the sweetest, quietest puppies,
01:03entertaining themselves throughout the day.
01:05The rescuer brought them to the vet to get them all checked up and vaccinated.
01:08They were healthy, which means the rescuer luckily found them,
01:11likely the same day they were abandoned.
01:14Rare Rescue helped their finder by taking them to their rescue and helping them find homes.
01:18They even threw a photo shoot for the puppies.
01:20At eight weeks, they started their search for their forever families.
01:23They also stepped into the next step of puppyhood and each found fosters on their own.
01:27They met new foster dog siblings.

01:32They went to the park and they tried on silly new outfits.
01:36Even in new environments, the puppies proved to be the sweetest dogs and so resilient.
01:40There are still four puppies out of the seven looking for their forever homes.
01:45But no matter what, they know they will never be abandoned again.
