00:11a powder brush, any type of loose powder, we're using baby powder today, a less expensive mascara, lavender oil, and
00:19spoolies are optional.
00:20I have heard so many people talk about powdering their lashes. Sure, it gives you this nice, voluminous effect, but
00:26it clumps up your mascara and makes it run out faster and dry out faster, which is no good. But
00:31I found a trick that actually allows you to have the same effects without ruining your nice mascara. First, you're
00:37going to coat your lashes with your everyday mascara that you love. Let that coat of mascara dry for a
00:43couple seconds, then powder your lashes.
00:48This is great because it adds length and volume. It's kind of like a natural way to add on fake
00:53eyelashes without all that nasty glue. Here's where the magic happens. Instead of using our first mascara, you know, the
01:00one that you use every day, use a less expensive one for the second coat.
01:07And there you go. Super easy. All you need is a second mascara. I've got two extra tips. If you
01:12are so set on using your favorite mascara, beginning and end, the one way to get around it is using
01:19a spoolie.
01:20This will prevent your mascara from getting all clumpy. Another tip is to add lavender oil to your mascara. Just
01:27a drop or two. This will declump the mascara and also act as a disinfectant. Plus, it smells amazing.
