00:00This is really...
00:02Okay, there we go.
00:03Hey guys, this is Mian, and this is Beauty in a Snap.
00:07And today, I'm going to be showing you how to repair your broken makeup products.
00:13Like, we all know that when you drop an eyeshadow palette or a highlighter and it cracks,
00:18it is the worst feeling ever.
00:20I'm going to show you a few ways to repair your makeup to make it last longer.
00:25That doesn't really break the bank.
00:27It only involves a few steps and it's super easy, so follow along with me and I'll show you.
00:31So first up, we have the classic broken powder product.
00:36So this here is a NYX Broken Blush.
00:39I did not have to witness this being broken, but it is sufficiently shattered.
00:43But what we can do with this is we can revive this powder using just two products,
00:49isopropyl alcohol and saran wrap, which you probably have lying around your house already.
00:54So I'll just take a little bit of the isopropyl up here and drip that over the powder where I
01:02want it to adhere.
01:04Then I'll take some saran wrap and I'm going to lay it over the powder like so.
01:11This is really just to keep your hands clean like this.
01:14And then I'm going to push the powder back together like so.
01:19Keep in mind it's not going to look like brand factory new, but it is going to revive your powder
01:25products so you can use it again.
01:27So now we have the moment of truth.
01:31Did this work?
01:32Let's see.
01:33Ta-da!
01:35Brand new!
01:36Okay, well it's not brand new, but you can use it again and it's still wet.
01:40So you're going to want to leave this out to dry for, you know, 15-20 minutes.
01:44And then your powder will be revived and you can use it again.
01:46Look, you can literally tip it over and nothing's coming out because I fixed it.
01:51So next up we have a dried out cream shadow, which is also another very sad, sad makeup blunder.
02:01It's actually really easy to revive products like this.
02:04You don't have to throw them out.
02:06All you need is some saline solution, contact lens wearers, you probably already have that on hand, and a little
02:13mixer tool.
02:14So what you're going to want to do is put a few drops of the saline directly into the pot.
02:19I'll do three for safety, you can always add more if you need.
02:22So then you start mixing it with your little mixer tool.
02:25It's not going to feel great because you're essentially destroying it,
02:27but you're injecting a little more moisture into it and then you can use it again.
02:31Boom.
02:32Look at that.
02:33Brand new.
02:34It's like I didn't even have this for three years.
02:36And last but not least, we have the broken lipstick, which I have here.
02:44There we go!
02:46So this one's actually the easiest one in my opinion.
02:49All you need is a little tub to put this broken piece of lipstick in.
02:54And I have that right here, a little petri dish.
02:57So without a lipstick mold, you're not going to get your lipstick to look exactly like it did when you
03:01got it from the store,
03:02but you can put it into a little petri dish and create a little lip balm with it.
03:06So all you need to do is stick it in the microwave.
03:08And there you have it.
03:09Three easy ways to revive your broken makeup with general household items.
03:14And the best part is none of these took more than three minutes flat.
03:17Glad don't you understand which one.
03:18Definitely.
03:19Tim started when the film was done.
03:19The most famous Stadt find, bird friend from Google.
03:19And he did not want to go ahead and they lähdem along a bad,
03:19because he wasn't a strong spider night.
03:20The oldest thing seemed to be able to understand where the stations are,
