00:07The way I grew up was a little bit unconventional.

00:12It was just my dad, my brother, and I.
00:13So I would have to kind of look to my friends or my friends' moms to like play with makeup
00:18and kind of understand makeup.
00:20My mom was very into makeup and I think that because she passed away before I could kind
00:24of experience that with her, it was almost like our thing together without her being here.
00:30In the past few years, my skin kind of was the worst it's ever been.
00:34Just these huge, gnarly, big, massive zits.
00:37I would go out in public without makeup on looking a little crazy.
00:41People would tell me, oh, that's so amazing you go out without makeup on.
00:44That's so brave of you.
00:46Why is it that just because I have, you know, a few bumps on my skin, why is that something
00:51to praise?
00:53This is my skin.
00:54Nobody is perfect.
00:55After everything that I went through growing up with like my parents getting divorced,
00:59like my mom dying, like all this stuff going on.
01:02You realize that no matter what's going on, you're going to get past it.
01:05You just have to like find some good in a situation.
01:09I just found this self-love for myself these past few years.

01:14I make these choices.
01:15Once you hold yourself accountable for your whole life, you really find a big part of yourself.
