00:00Hi everyone, it's me Jen and on Sundays I get a little anxious because Monday's coming
00:05ahead.
00:06So what I like to do to ease that pain of anxiety is to pamper myself and one of my
00:10favorite ways to do that is with a face mask.
00:13And today I'm going to be showing you three different ways to treat your skin.
00:22My first mask is Lush's Mask of Magnum Minty and this is one of my favorite masks because
00:28it's a really great one for acne prone skin or just for days when you really want something
00:33that's deep cleansing.
00:35What I like to do is just apply it onto my face and when you apply it, it goes on
00:40a little
00:40bit dark green and as it dries it's going to just turn into a lighter shade and that's
00:47when you know it's done.
00:49And so I leave this on for maybe 15 to 20 minutes and I'll read a book, I'll just lounge
00:55around
00:55the house until it's finally dried.
00:58So let's say I have a really big high pressure event on Monday, I'm going to bring out the
01:03big guns and use SK-II's Facial Treatment Mask.
01:06I swear by this stuff, this is the mask that I wear on the plane to a trip and I
01:11want to
01:12make sure my skin's good because this guy is just amazing.
01:15And these packets are definitely a splurge but they're worth it when you really need them.
01:19And when you open it, it just comes out as this big scary mask.
01:24It has to be on your skin for 20 minutes but I would even say push it to 30.
01:29So get comfortable, grab yourself some tea and just pamper and relax, that's it.
01:34And after you remove the mask, there's still going to be that residue on your face so just
01:39get the extra and just kind of rub it all around your neck because you want to have those
01:43components on your neck as well.
01:45Because there's anti-aging properties in there so you don't want your neck to be sagging and
01:49your face firm.
01:50You want everything to be on point.
01:52So just make sure you really use up everything that's on it.
01:55If you don't feel like splurging on a mask, you definitely do some DIY tricks.
01:59One DIY mask I love to do is the Cucumber Mask and it's just a really great mask for hydration.
02:05So if in the summer or the winter and your skin's feeling a little bit dry and patchy, the
02:11Cucumber Mask is perfect.
02:12All you have to do is get a cucumber, wash it off and then try to cut it as thin
02:17as possible.
02:19Once you've sliced the cucumbers, just apply it on your face and just kind of use the different
02:23shapes to kind of maneuver it and just cover your entire face.
02:27And I like to leave the cucumbers on for maybe 20 minutes just so all the cucumber water soaks
02:33in.
02:33If your eyes are really puffy too, you can just slap two cucumbers on your eyes and it will
02:38just cool them down.
02:39Thank you so much for joining me on what I like to do on a Sunday to pamper.
02:43And if you have any favorite masks or DIYs that you like to do, please comment down below
02:48because I would love to read about it.
