00:04It means more people get to hear about the foundation.
00:09I'm really honored that Hollywood Reporter wanted to honor us.
00:14The more opportunity I get to stand in front of a microphone to talk about this,
00:18I'm actually more comfortable talking about this than anything else.
00:22It's sort of the only time I can think of when more is more.
00:28I can kind of reverse the concept of the integrity for a charity
00:33is to make sure as many people can know about it as possible.
00:37Can you share more about why advocating for veterans and their health is so important to you?
00:41Absolutely. It's one of the great challenges of our time.
00:45I think it is whether or not conflict or war is in the news,
00:50the need for veteran care is always there. It always has been there.
00:54And it's a really interesting spot for science to fill in.
00:58It's a really big gap for science to fill in, and it has been for a while.
01:02So it feels to me like it's an evergreen challenge.
01:11It's not linked to fad, trend.
01:15I don't want to say that. That sounds negative.
01:17It's not linked to top of mind consciousness.
01:20That's what I want to say.
01:21I don't want to say trend, but we only have so much to think about all the time.
01:24And so it's one of those long-lasting kind of glacial things
01:28that I want to be a part of for the rest of my life.
01:30And we're asking everyone here today,
01:32what's something in the entertainment industry that's inspiring you right now?
01:36I'm loving these videos that are like two hours long where guys build,
01:39maybe some women, build incredible forts out in the woods,
01:43and it snows, and they live in the little house they built.
01:46And I know that there's like the Odyssey is out and everything,
01:50and I know that Hollywood is having a nice resurgence in the theater,
01:53but I'm really loving these videos where they're out in the brush
01:57and you just hear like the saw cutting the wood,
01:59and they build a house, and then they like cook a little food in there.
