00:00One of the more interesting matchups on tonight's slate, at least I think, and maybe I'm just a little bit
00:05of a sicko, would be Nats Rockies, the best offense in baseball, going to Coors Field, where it's 90 plus
00:12degrees, we got 11 and a half total. Also, hey, we got one of the worst pitching staffs in baseball
00:17at Coors Field with the Nats. So how are you approaching this game? Do you play the 11 and a
00:22half total? Because that is super high, and it's juiced to the over.
00:26Well, you're not playing the under. So you're taking the over, or you're leaving it alone, right? You're never taking
00:31an under there. I'm going to go, listen, I think this is going to be a good in-game over.
00:36The Yankees should be very thankful that they played the Washington Nationals bullpen the weekend before the All-Star break,
00:42right? Because they won all three of those games, eighth inning or later. Because the Washington Nationals bullpen is terrible.
00:47They're all soft-throwing.
00:49So it doesn't seem like today's guys, in today's bullpen, everyone's throwing 110 miles an hour real fast, right? I
00:54mean, out of control, they're throwing hard. Everybody in the Nationals bullpen throws 91, 92. They're all soft-throwers. So
01:01I think that's where you can attack those in-game overs as well here. The Rockies can beat up on
01:05that bullpen. I'm on the over. Impossible not to play the over. Chicago Washington. Washington can really hit.
01:10Yeah, I mean, yeah, Hunter Goodman, I think he hit three home runs yesterday. And if you didn't watch the
01:14game, you would think, oh, they probably won big. No, it's not enough in Colorado. It doesn't happen. All right,
01:22let's get to a couple other matchups here. First time since you mentioned Mizorowski, I think maybe even one that's
01:28flying under the radar tonight, George, is another Jacob. Jacob deGrom starts for the first time since my little watch
01:35here says July the 7th.
01:37So that's a full, I don't know, almost three weeks of no deGrom. Rangers are minus 168 here tonight. I
01:45feel like they made a preventative move there, George. Tom and I were talking and my comment was, I think
01:51they got ahead of this saying, you know what? This dude is not throwing 180 innings and making 30 starts.
01:56Let's just hit it now. Let's hit the button and let him rest a little bit. I think that's all
02:01they did. And Skip Schumacher pretty good with his pitchers too.
02:04So I would imagine that Texas probably in good shape and they're playing better.
02:09So the White Sox, right? They're playing the Sox here, but Eric Fede's going for the Sox. So yeah, I
02:13feel pretty good about deGrom. I wouldn't have any deGrom bets in strikeout totals. He is coming back from the
02:18glute injury, right? That's why he missed a start or two there. So I don't trust that he'll go deep
02:23into the game, Craig. I want him to. He's on a couple of fantasy teams of mine, so I need
02:26him to go deep into the game.
02:27I need a W there from you, Jacob. Can you get me a W, please? But I wouldn't have any
02:31individual bets on Jacob himself, though. But I do like the Rangers to win the game. I'm not going to
02:36leave the total alone here, though. I just feel like the Rangers are going to score some runs tonight. I
02:40think it could take the Rangers team total over. I could be talking to that in the next couple of
02:44hours.
