00:00Let's get to a place that continues to give us runs.
00:03That's Coors Field.
00:04Both of these lineups technically stink, Tom,
00:06but both of these lineups are hammering over the past two days.
00:10Does it continue today?
00:11955, 956 on the rotation of 310 start.
00:14Pittsburgh is going to go with Mitch Keller.
00:15Blaylock here, the right-handed pitcher for the Rockies.
00:18No surprise, overnight 10-and-a-halves quickly disappeared.
00:21We're at 11s and 11-and-a-halves across the board.
00:24A heavy favorite for Pittsburgh at a minus 176 price,
00:26but they were heavily favored yesterday with skeins.
00:29It didn't work out to their advantage.
00:30Let's call it 160 across the board.
00:32The Pittsburgh Pirates and the Colorado Rockies today.
00:35Oh, the fact that they're this heavy favorite is kind of crazy.
00:39On Friday, one of the tapes I wanted to share in the early line,
00:42which we just didn't get to, I was like, listen, this series,
00:44just take the plus money.
00:45Just take the plus money on either side, whatever it ends up being.
00:48And, you know, skeins couldn't get the win yesterday.
00:50Obviously, there was a delay.
00:51He has come out of the game, whatever it might be.
00:52But looking at Bradley Blaylock, who should be starting for the Rockies today,
00:56smaller 33-inning sample size.
00:59This is his second year in the majors overall.
01:02We're doing the 164 home runs per night and a 10.9% walk rate.
01:06Yes, he has a 10.9% strike rate on top of a 4.8% walk rate.
01:10So he doesn't strike anyone out.
01:12Yeah, he doesn't let anyone on base for free.
01:13But he also has a 338 Babbitt.
01:15So he's not a good pitcher.
01:17Mitch Keller, you could say, he's probably a decent pitcher when it's all said and done.
01:20But the hitting environment is just far, far conducive to scoring,
01:24considering the Pirates also got rid of Bednar.
01:26So their late game shutting down teams is not there anymore.
01:30It's just always runs, runs, runs, even though these lineups are terrible.
01:34Exactly.
01:35If you've ever heard the ambulance driving by right there,
01:37probably taking the starting pitchers in the bullpens back into the hospital
01:40for where they've been getting damaged this week.
01:42And sometimes it's just about riding like bad baseball teams to say,
01:45I look at the lineups and I don't like it.
01:46Like, I haven't liked the Pittsburgh Pirates lineup the past two nights,
01:49but yet they still are hitting runs because it's Coors.
01:5186 degree temperatures today, Tom.
01:53There is a wind blowing in around eight to nine miles per hour,
01:55but I still do think there's runs where you say,
01:57I'm just going to get after this game once again.
02:00I don't like the lineup for the Rockies.
02:01They've produced.
02:02I don't like the lineup for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
02:04They have produced here.
02:05So it's just as simple as saying, if the bullpens aren't there,
02:08you're always going to get that Coors magic late in game situations
02:11because nobody can get anybody out.
02:13You throw a strike and a back gets on it,
02:15there's a chance it's going to be a double in the gap
02:17and or a home run at this point.
02:18So I have a sell me something at the end of this show
02:21that I'm saying ride the good times.
02:23People don't care who's actually on the mound or hitting.
02:26Those games are going over.
