00:00Let's set the table for this next one here and have some fun.
00:029-11, 9-12 in the rotation, a 4-10 start in Arizona.
00:05That's Fought versus Gordon.
00:06It's the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
00:09Look at this favor here.
00:10Like, Brandon Fought hasn't had a great season.
00:11Last 30 days, though, not too bad, Tom.
00:13Seven starts, 41 in the third, innings pitched, a 4-10 ERA, but a 379 X-5 number.
00:18He's a minus 260 favorite at some outlets right now in the marketplace
00:22going up against Colorado in a total of nine.
00:24Why?
00:25I don't care who's in that lineup for Arizona today, Tom.
00:28They are going to hit Gordon.
00:29They are going to hit that bullpen.
00:30It's what everybody does against the Colorado Rockies.
00:34It really is, and this is basically a spitting image of what I saw last night
00:39when I was on in-game live with Brady Cannon, where Eduardo Rodriguez,
00:43they were minus 220, whatever, 215, whatever it was, nine and a half total.
00:47I was like, listen, the Diamondbacks being a $2 favorite, I understand, right?
00:51Just because it's the Rockies, there's going to be so much public money moving in there.
00:54But when it's all said and done, the Diamondbacks aren't a good team.
00:57They traded away Suarez.
00:59They traded away Naylor.
01:00Their bullpen is terrible.
01:02So why would we be wanting to lay $2 or whatever it was?
01:05Yes, they won the game.
01:06But at the end of the day, the best bet to make is just simply the over.
01:09Root for runs on both sides.
01:11The pitching staffs are terrible.
01:12And we actually got some decent hitters from Colorado.
01:15And this is still a good hitters ballpark when it's all said and done.
01:19I'm telling the sneaky part about that, too, is most people look at the Colorado Rockies
01:22and just think they're a terrible team.
01:24But look at the batters in the lineup.
01:26I'm telling you right now, you won't be disappointed.
01:28Like, Brandon Fultz struggles with lefties.
01:29So immediately go look at the left-handed bats.
01:31Not a lot in the lineup.
01:32Mickey Moniak has been really good for them this year.
01:34But he's the only lefty outside of Almodor.
01:36But look at just the rest of the guys in the lineup against right-handed pitching over the past month.
01:41Ezekiel Tovar, 346, weighted on base percentage.
01:43Goodman, 431.
01:44Beck, 425.
01:45Moniak, 383.
01:47Bernabeu, 481.
01:48Doyle, 354.
01:49Carrows, 395.
01:51And Almodor there at 234, like, ISO power numbers are high.
01:54Weighted on base percentages are high.
01:55It's like the perfect storm for, I don't think Fultz is going to be a shutdown guy.
01:59Like, you just look at that totem, like, yeah, it seems kind of high.
02:01But it's there for a reason.
02:02Like, Arizona should be at least five-plus runs today.
02:04You're telling me that we can't get competition on the other side for the Colorado Rockies?
02:08So don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.
02:10There are some bad baseball teams.
02:12But that doesn't mean they're not going to step up to the plate and knock in some runs.
02:15Yeah, they might lose eight to five, but you score five runs, Tom, that's RBI, that's
02:19knocked in base runners, everything you can ask for.
