The new Rolex Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller has stolen the show at Watches and Wonders 2025, but there are some sneaky new releases from the brand that we’d love to draw your attention to, including a delicious Pistachio-dialled Oyster Perpetual 41 that’s flown under the radar. Here, we’re looking at all of the new Rolex watches unveiled at the show, and that means a handful of new dial options for pieces like the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II and some uber-limited choices for the Sky-Dweller a
Transcript
00:00So we've got Ben and Frank here from Man of Many.
00:02Going to talk all things Rolex at Watchers and Wonders 2025.
00:06We've got some people on the ground too,
00:07so head over to our social channels
00:09and check out what Rob and John are up to in Geneva.
00:12But for now, we're going to break it down.
00:14All these Rolex releases.
00:15A lot to unpack here.
00:17Honestly, when I got the email at midnight,
00:19when the clock strikes midnight,
00:22it didn't look like there was a whole bunch to unpack it.
00:24I got kind of excited because I wouldn't have to sit there
00:26for like two hours writing thousands of words about it.
00:29But then all of a sudden, you sort of research these things
00:31and it just becomes so nuanced.
00:34But I want to make it as simple to understand as possible
00:38for the listeners out there.
00:39But we're going to start with the big release,
00:41which was teased by Roger Federer like 16 hours before it came out.
00:46It's the Land Dweller.
00:47It's the elephant in the room.
00:48But we sort of knew this watch was coming
00:51because they'd filed patents in the US
00:54for the name Land Dweller and Coast Dweller.
00:56So I think some insiders sort of knew it was coming.
00:59But they never tell us anything no matter what we ask.
01:01So it got announced.
01:02Land Dweller.
01:04So it's heading inland, basically.
01:07It's available in six different references.
01:10I'm going to get your reactions for the prices
01:12because they are quite up there.
01:15Actually, more than six references.
01:17It's available in 10 references.
01:18But I put a few of my favorite numbers down here.
01:21I'm going to focus on the 40 millimeter variants.
01:23You can get two variants, 36 and 40, all in the same spec.
01:27So I've got five of the 40 millimeter references
01:29to quote here for price.
01:31Starts at $24,200 Australian dollars.
01:35Sounds not too bad, to be honest,
01:37but something that's quite technical.
01:38More on that in a second.
01:39You can also get it in...
01:40So that's in white roller saw,
01:42which is a combination of sort of white gold and metal steel.
01:47So $24,200 for that.
01:50You can step up from there.
01:51It gets expensive.
01:53So you can have it Everose Gold, $74,900.
01:58Everose Gold Gemset, $167,500.
02:02I actually love that they publish these prices though.
02:05And then you can just strip it back to just being platinum.
02:09Just platinum is $101,300.
02:11That comes with a special sort of icy blue dial.
02:15And then you can do my favorite.
02:18The one that I would buy is the 40 mil 950 platinum gem set.
02:23$186,500, which is up there.
02:27I think you've got to be some type of serious bullet.
02:30I guess there's so many people out there that would do it though.
02:32I can imagine all the rappers and athletes out there
02:35just to walk into the Rolex, you know,
02:36and say, give me the most expensive version
02:38of the new watch you've got with factory set diamonds.
02:42So give me a reaction.
02:43What do you reckon?
02:44Let's just talk Land Dweller into that price as well.
02:46Well, yeah, I think this is probably the most talked about release
02:50of this year's Watches and Wonders.
02:53The Rolex Land Dweller is the most talked about.
02:57It's quite interesting in terms of the pricing.
03:01Yeah, it's up there, but it's quite an interesting release
03:03because when you look at it visually, there's a lot of things going on.
03:08It's very Rolex, but at the same time,
03:11you can draw a lot of similarities with some other watches.
03:15Yeah.
03:16If you want to talk, let's talk about the design and the look
03:20and the feel of it.
03:21Let's do it.
03:22So yeah, something about it, the integrated bracelet.
03:24This is the first integrated bracelet that Rolex has done
03:27in quite a while.
03:29And I think that's probably one of the key things about it
03:34that has people talking because the goat of integrated bracelets
03:38is the Royal Oak, the AP Royal Oak.
03:42So anytime any brand creates a watch with integrated bracelet,
03:46you either got to design something that's so different
03:50from the Royal Oak that it just kind of stands alone
03:52or design something that has some similarities of the Royal Oak
03:56and know that your watch is forever going to be compared
03:59to the Royal Oak.
04:01And I think Rolex is, yeah, this new watch is something
04:05that a lot of people are looking at and saying,
04:07it's like a Royal Oak.
04:09It's a Rolex version of a Royal Oak.
04:10I've also seen a lot of people compare it to a PRX, a Tissot.
04:15And I have to say to them, I've got an early look
04:18at the Landweller here on my wrist.
04:19It looks a lot like a PRX, but I do like this.
04:24Okay, I did the article.
04:27I want to break it down into its parts.
04:28So flat Jubilee bracelet, all new.
04:31It's just for this.
04:32I'm a big fan of it.
04:33I think it's so cool to call them the heritage
04:35of the Jubilee bracelet, but recreate it in a flat sort of layout.
04:39Fluted bezel tells you it's a Rolex sort of straight away
04:42when you look at it.
04:43When we saw it on Federer's wrist,
04:45I think everyone instantly knew what it was.
04:48Honeycomb doll, I think, is a little bit
04:50of a controversial choice.
04:51I think some people have gone, what is that doing there?
04:54Yeah, it's a bit Lamborghini.
04:55Oh, it is a lot Lamborghini now you say that.
04:58Wow, like a little hexagonal.
05:01Interesting.
05:02I think it's a lot Lamborghini actually.
05:03It's like sitting inside of Urus.
05:06I like the icy blue choice on the 950 platinum
05:08and the white on the stainless ones, obviously clean too.
05:13Hands, indices, everything like that.
05:15I'm a big fan of.
05:16Strangely, and you can't unsee this,
05:18it only has a nine and a six.
05:22There's no other numbers on the dial,
05:23which is interesting to me.
05:25It's kind of like you can't unsee it when you see it.
05:27And they put a nice large Rolex crown at the 12 o'clock.
05:31So I don't know mine.
05:33I think it's balanced.
05:33I think when you,
05:35I can't unsee the fact that it only has a nine and a six,
05:37but also like what else are they going to do?
05:38I think it has the day window
05:39and the massive crown at the top.
05:40So like I think I'd rather just have those two things there.
05:44No crown guard, it's clean.
05:47I'm a big fan of it.
05:48I think it looks very cool.
05:49I think the honeycomb is controversial choice,
05:51but if you were going to imagine Rolex making an integrated bracelet watch,
05:55I think you'd probably land on something like this.
05:58Sort of just a classic Oyster course case,
06:02integrated flagibly bracelet, fluted bezel,
06:05honeycomb dial is questionable,
06:06but apart from that,
06:07I think they've pretty much nailed this.
06:09And technically speaking, it's very impressive too.
06:11Just on that as well,
06:13I think something about this that is quite striking are the highlights.
06:17And what I mean by that is on a bracelet,
06:21especially more the higher end you go in watches,
06:25what you'll notice is that certain surfaces are polished
06:29and certain surfaces are brushed.
06:31And the tension to detail that they put into that
06:34is what makes it really sparkle.
06:36So when you look at this watch,
06:37you'll see it pick up the light really well
06:39and kind of sparkles and it's interesting
06:41and it looks like there's a lot of shine,
06:43a lot of highlights going on.
06:45And that's because if you look at the bracelet,
06:47they've got the links in the center,
06:49which have a high mirror polish.
06:51And then also kind of on the edges of those links,
06:56they're chamfered.
06:57So they cut like 45 degrees
06:59and some of those surfaces are polished,
07:00which picks up the light really well.
07:02On top of having that trademark fluted bezel as well
07:07with that high polish and that shape,
07:10it really picks up the light.
07:12So when you wear it,
07:13it's like a piece of jewelry more so
07:15than like a tool watch kind of thing
07:17with all those kind of elements that pick up the light.
07:20So that's something about it
07:21that really gives it its brilliance.
07:23Yeah.
07:23I'm a big fan of this watch.
07:2620% thinner than a Datejust as well is what I've heard.
07:29So like quite a nice thing to slip under the shirt quite well.
07:3536 and 40 millimeter.
07:36I think 40 millimeter is a good size.
07:38They could have maybe gone smaller,
07:40but I think the Y,
07:42I think 40 millimeter is pretty much perfect.
07:44That's also PRX sizing.
07:46So I think PRX is a good size.
07:48So I'm happy with the 40.
07:52Let's get into the caliber.
07:53So it's sort of a spinoff of the 7140,
07:58which we've seen in the 1908.
08:00And we'll talk a bit about that in a second.
08:02It's extremely impressive.
08:05Insanely accurate.
08:06Measures time to a 10th of a second,
08:08which is wild.
08:09Five Hertz frequency.
08:11It's the first time they've ever done
08:11a five Hertz frequency movement.
08:1366 hours power reserve is so impressive.
08:16Even like more impressive
08:18because of how fast the watch beats.
08:21Dyna Pulse Escagement,
08:23which is a Rolex term they've sort of taken.
08:25It's just more efficient,
08:26but it's also fragile.
08:27And they've addressed that
08:28with a bunch of nice little
08:31suspension thingies inside the watch
08:33and everything like that.
08:34But I don't want to get too into it
08:35because it can get boring very quickly.
08:37But it's just exciting.
08:39I think they've created like a new movement
08:41that is technically just a showcase
08:43of what they're capable of in-house.
08:45I think we can touch on that high beat movement
08:48and why that is important,
08:49why that's something that,
08:51yeah, why it is an important feature
08:54is that a high beat movement,
08:56what that means is that essentially
08:58the watch ticks faster.
09:01So it's every part and every piece
09:04in that watch is moving faster and faster
09:06than in something that has a lower beat,
09:09which means that all the parts
09:12are wearing and aging more quickly
09:15than another watch.
09:16So high beat movements,
09:18you know, way back in the day,
09:20would those watches,
09:21they'd be destroyed quickly.
09:23They made them,
09:24but then they wouldn't last as long
09:26because all the parts were working
09:28and wearing and aging a lot quicker.
09:30But over time,
09:32advancements in technology,
09:33advancements in materials
09:34and manufacturing process
09:36have allowed manufacturers
09:38to create these high beat watches
09:40and be able to withstand
09:42the test of time
09:43and yeah, last a lot longer.
09:45So now's probably the best time for it
09:46because I guess that technology
09:47is right at the forefront.
09:49I kind of,
09:49being a car guy,
09:50I reckon it's kind of like
09:51having a race engine in your watch
09:53except you don't have to rebuild it up.
09:55It's like a drag engine in your watch,
09:57which is pretty cool.
09:58It's cool to have.
09:59It's kind of like,
09:59I guess you could just call this
10:00sort of like the Porsche GT3 of watches
10:03where it has a race engine
10:04and it's pretty nicely in case.
10:05I don't know,
10:05maybe that's just me.
10:07Are they too late
10:08to the integrated bracelet?
10:10I don't think it's ever too late.
10:11I think, yeah,
10:13they're smart.
10:14They know what they're doing.
10:15Obviously,
10:15they've seen a demand for it
10:17and I think it's just for them,
10:19it's more of a design
10:20and it gives them an extra pillar.
10:22You know,
10:22they've got this watch
10:23and we'll see multiple variations
10:26of this watch
10:27over the coming years.
10:29Yeah,
10:29I think for sure.
10:30Obviously,
10:31there's ever rose gold now,
10:32but next year,
10:34they're probably just going to release
10:35a yellow gold version as well.
10:37Why wouldn't they?
10:38And there'll be different dial colors
10:39and maybe they'll even change
10:40the pattern on the dial.
10:43That honeycomb is growing on me though,
10:44the more I look at it.
10:46Who's this watch for?
10:48Is it an enthusiast?
10:48That's a good question.
10:49Yeah.
10:50I don't know.
10:51Like,
10:51I think it's one that we'll find out soon.
10:55Yeah,
10:55I think
10:58Rolex has always had a broad appeal
10:59with like the Submariner,
11:02the Day Day.
11:03The appeal's always been broad
11:04with Rolex.
11:06So,
11:06I think this again
11:07will be quite broad.
11:10I don't think it'll specifically
11:11be just for the collectors.
11:13Yeah.
11:14But,
11:15you know,
11:16time will tell.
11:17Yeah,
11:17I think so.
11:17I think the,
11:19I don't know,
11:20that's for a fact,
11:20but I wouldn't be surprised
11:21if sort of like the early buyers
11:23of the,
11:23you know,
11:24the people get excited about it,
11:25but then also people
11:26that have always wanted
11:26a automatic Oyster cords.
11:29Sort of the enthusiasts out there.
11:31I mean,
11:31I've already seen a lot of them online
11:32getting pretty excited about
11:34just having an integrated bracelet
11:35at this price point.
11:37It's pretty appealing.
11:39I think that's pretty much it
11:40for the old Landwell.
11:41If you want to see
11:42a full breakdown
11:43of that movement,
11:44I've done it
11:45in the article
11:46over at manamani.com.
11:48You can come check out my article
11:49and I break it down
11:50and explain why
11:51all these things
11:51are so exciting.
11:53But it is
11:53a very,
11:54very cool watch
11:54and I would love
11:55to have a race engine
11:56in my watch though.
11:58It kind of slows down
11:59a little bit from there.
12:01We've got
12:02GMT Master 2
12:05ceramic dial,
12:06green ceramic.
12:07So they've,
12:08and it's a lefty.
12:09So it's lefty again.
12:10So we saw the lefty
12:10in 2022
12:11and they've basically
12:13taken that exact same watch.
12:14Everyone's calling it
12:15the Sprite
12:15or the Starbucks
12:17and then
12:18flipped it
12:19with a ceramic,
12:20green ceramic dial.
12:21So it's,
12:23it's fairly simple.
12:24What are your thoughts on it?
12:26Do you have any thoughts?
12:27It's just a bit of a,
12:28you know,
12:28it's a great watch,
12:29but you know,
12:30it's nothing,
12:31you know,
12:31you know,
12:32it's,
12:32it's nothing,
12:33it's nothing too new.
12:34It's just,
12:34it's just a nice addition,
12:36something different.
12:37But that's about it.
12:38Obviously it's quality,
12:39it's Rolex,
12:40but.
12:40I think if you were going
12:41to pull something out of it,
12:43I just love to look
12:44as ceramic as a material
12:45on a watch.
12:46I think having a ceramic dial
12:48on a watch,
12:49especially something
12:49that's pretty unique
12:50like this,
12:52I just think it looks great.
12:53I mean,
12:53the way it's hard to explain,
12:55but until you see a watch,
12:56I mean,
12:56this watch is 75,000,
12:58nearly 76,000 Australian dollars.
13:00So when you see a watch
13:01that's this high caliber,
13:02it's white gold
13:04in the flesh
13:05with a ceramic dial,
13:05it just looks
13:06super duper expensive.
13:08So I think
13:09you can write it off
13:10as a bit of a nothing release,
13:11but I don't think
13:13that's necessarily justified
13:15just because it's,
13:16it all looks so damn
13:16expensive in person
13:17and people will get
13:19to line up around the block
13:19to get them.
13:20So I mean,
13:21this watch,
13:22I would not be surprised
13:23to see this watch
13:24going for like nearly
13:24a hundred thousand bucks
13:25on the secondary market.
13:27So yeah,
13:28I do get excited
13:30a little bit,
13:30but I mean,
13:30they could have,
13:31in some ways
13:32it's a bit of a tease
13:33because they could have
13:33gone so many different
13:34directions with this,
13:35but they've just
13:36basically chosen
13:37to update something
13:38they released a few years
13:39ago with ceramic,
13:40but I'd love to see
13:41them just keep it going.
13:42Like why not
13:44make it different colors?
13:45Like why go green?
13:46I don't know,
13:47but it doesn't,
13:48it doesn't match
13:48the sort of bezel
13:49we insert perfectly.
13:50So then it's a nice green.
13:51It's a nice sort of
13:53Starbucks green,
13:54which I like.
13:56All right.
13:57I have a lot to say
13:58about these
13:59Oyster Petuals.
14:00They are literally
14:01just the same
14:02Oyster Petuals
14:03that we've seen,
14:03except we've got,
14:05so we've got 41,
14:0628,
14:0736 OPs
14:08with three new
14:10dial colors.
14:11They like hiding
14:12a lot of these things
14:13in the configurator
14:14and it can be a little
14:15bit confusing
14:15to figure out
14:16what is what,
14:16but I'm looking
14:18at a 41 millimeter
14:20pistachio dial
14:21right now
14:22and it is just
14:23speaking to me.
14:24I don't know why
14:24the pastels
14:25are just so hot.
14:27I think I watched,
14:28I mean,
14:28it's smooth as well.
14:29A watch that
14:31looks like this
14:32is just my type
14:33of thing.
14:34It's so my vibe.
14:35I think the lavender
14:35is really cool
14:36at 28 millimeters.
14:37The beige
14:38on the 36 millimeter
14:39I think is just
14:40a nice subtle one
14:41for people that have
14:42too many watches.
14:43They just go,
14:43oh,
14:44I'll just get one of those.
14:45I think the pistachio
14:4741
14:48with,
14:49it has a redesign
14:50like the cases,
14:51everything's been trimmed
14:52a little bit more
14:53on the 41.
14:55It's a little bit
14:56tutory to be honest,
14:57but I'm a big fan
14:59of that watch.
14:59What do you reckon?
15:00Yeah.
15:01Some slight refinements
15:02is good.
15:02I think the colors,
15:03the pastels,
15:04you know,
15:05they're nice.
15:05It's nice to have
15:06like a little pop of color,
15:08but nothing that's
15:09too overpowering.
15:11It makes it
15:11quite versatile.
15:12So yeah,
15:13I think it's
15:14an okay release.
15:15I think again,
15:15just small refinements,
15:17new color.
15:18Yeah.
15:19Yeah.
15:19Pretty good.
15:19I mean,
15:20keeping it simple
15:20sometimes is the best thing.
15:21I think in the past
15:22we've seen,
15:23what do we see?
15:24We saw a nice
15:24sort of pink.
15:25We saw the Tiffany
15:27turquoise,
15:27which is still available,
15:28I believe,
15:29from what I've seen
15:29in the configurator.
15:30Maybe they'll get rid of it,
15:31but quick note
15:33on the pricing.
15:35So 41 mil pistachio,
15:37oyster steel,
15:3810,550.
15:4036 oyster steel
15:42with the beige,
15:4410,050 bucks,
15:45Australian.
15:46And then the 28,
15:48I think it lands
15:49around the $9,000 mark.
15:50So some of the more
15:52accessible ones.
15:53I wouldn't be surprised
15:54if you can kind of
15:54pick these up
15:56pretty simply
15:57at your local boutique.
15:58I know a few people
15:59that have got
16:00OP41s.
16:01They don't go for crazy money
16:02on the secondary market,
16:03so they should be
16:04fairly accessible.
16:07But yeah,
16:08so the 28 mil
16:09does have
16:10a different movement
16:11as a 22-32 caliber
16:13while the bigger
16:1436 and 41
16:15have 32-30 caliber,
16:1870 hours power reserve.
16:19So it's also like
16:20quite a technically
16:21impressive watch.
16:22And I think
16:24there are a lot of watches
16:25you can buy
16:26around that $10,000
16:27price tag,
16:27but it does come in
16:28at sort of under 14
16:29by quite a bit.
16:31So for 70 hours power reserve,
16:33nice pastel dial,
16:34I think it's a pretty
16:36sort of cool release.
16:38Flies under the radar a bit.
16:39And also it's like
16:40from now on,
16:41the OP41 2025 release
16:43being a slightly
16:45different case
16:45will also make it
16:46slightly more collectible
16:47moving forward.
16:48so they've improved it.
16:50All right,
16:52let's do
16:52kind of another one
16:54that's just a little
16:54quickie
16:55is the Perpetual 1908.
16:58So this watch
16:58originally released
16:59in 2023
17:00to replace the Cellini.
17:03Named after the year
17:04Rolex was trademarked
17:05and this year
17:06it's coming in yellow gold
17:08with a new bracelet.
17:10It is a stunning bracelet
17:11and seven bands
17:15or seven rings
17:16in the bracelet.
17:16But I'm a big fan of it.
17:18What's your take?
17:19Yeah, I love it.
17:20Love the bracelet.
17:21Love the design.
17:22In yellow gold,
17:23I think it's lovely.
17:24Yeah, I love it.
17:25Yeah, I think
17:26you don't really need
17:27to say much more
17:27than that to be honest.
17:30Yeah, yellow gold,
17:31wide dial,
17:3166 hours power reserve,
17:347140 caliber movement.
17:37I don't know.
17:38I guess the only argument
17:38for this watch
17:39is like
17:39are they going to
17:40sort of add those?
17:41Are they going to make it
17:42high beat?
17:43I guess
17:43because the 7135
17:45in the new Landweller
17:47is like a sort of
17:49different version
17:50of this 7140.
17:52I guess an improved version
17:53of it.
17:54So I wonder if eventually
17:55this cops the 7135 too.
17:56And what's this one
17:57retailing for?
18:00That is a very good question.
18:01Hopefully I wrote it down.
18:03Probably a lot of money.
18:04Thanks for the setup.
18:0956,700 bucks.
18:11That's a lot of watch
18:12for the money
18:12I have to say
18:13to be honest.
18:13I think the standard one
18:14is around the $42,000 mark.
18:16So yeah,
18:17you can typically
18:18tack on about 15 or 20
18:19for yellow gold
18:20at a Rolex dealer.
18:21And yeah,
18:23I think it looks cool.
18:24New bracelet
18:24is a big upgrade.
18:26It's a brand new
18:26bracelet too.
18:27So kind of
18:28it's very vintage
18:29in design.
18:30I think it leans
18:31even more into
18:31the sort of vintage
18:32aesthetic of the 1908
18:34than the previous release.
18:36So big fan of that.
18:37Another one we can
18:38probably breeze over
18:39to be honest
18:40is the Datejust 31.
18:42Just a beautiful
18:43women's watch.
18:45$78,800
18:46gem set.
18:48Sort of smaller in size
18:50but still
18:50I think they've packed
18:52all the premium
18:53those expensive materials.
18:55There's a new
18:56ombre dial.
18:58Yeah,
18:58big fan of this one.
18:59I think
18:59it's just for the
19:00ballers out there
19:01pretty much
19:01on a president bracelet.
19:03It's a baller
19:04as it gets.
19:05President bracelet,
19:06gem set,
19:06ombre dial,
19:08gold.
19:08Like,
19:09you name it,
19:10it's got it.
19:10Pretty much.
19:11Any thoughts on that one?
19:12Anything to nitpick in there
19:14or just a nice release?
19:15Yeah,
19:15it's just a nice release.
19:16That sunburst dial
19:18is beautiful.
19:18That red ombre.
19:19I think that's just
19:21such a beautiful color
19:22especially with that
19:23sunburst pattern
19:24and then the diamond,
19:25the contrasting pop
19:26of,
19:27you know,
19:28sparkle.
19:28I think it's cool.
19:30I think maybe you could
19:31critique Rolex in the past
19:32for sort of not giving
19:33the women
19:33the bolder
19:34sort of designs
19:35but I think the fact
19:36this pretty much
19:37has everything
19:37is just a nice little
19:39thing to have.
19:40I think if you've got
19:41$78,800
19:42lying around
19:43then it's an absolute cop.
19:46Alright,
19:47now the exciting part
19:48and this is the thing
19:49that like the Rolex forums
19:50get excited about
19:51is when they bring out
19:53these,
19:53they just,
19:54it's so funny
19:55when you get in the press release
19:55they always just say
19:56new dials for Daytona
19:59Skydweller
20:00and GMT Master 2
20:03and then you look at it
20:04and you're like
20:05whoa,
20:06there's a lot happening
20:07there's way more happening here
20:08than they might say
20:09or like stay in the press release
20:11but
20:12let's get into it.
20:14So we've got
20:15a sort of
20:16Tiffany Cosmograph Daytona
20:17we've got
20:18a
20:20Australia edition
20:21green and gold
20:23Skydweller
20:24and a
20:25crazy
20:27Tiger iron dial
20:28on the GMT Master 2
20:30retail on the
20:31Daytona
20:32$59,000
20:33retail on the Skydweller
20:35$88,800
20:36nice lucky number there
20:38GMT Master 2
20:39$80,300
20:40so
20:40it's a nice
20:41high price points
20:42that Daytona
20:43is going to
20:43absolutely crank
20:44if you can get that
20:46good luck to you.
20:48but let's break it down
20:49let's start with
20:49a Daytona
20:51turquoise dial
20:52don't call it a Tiffany
20:53just a beautiful watch
20:55I think
20:55I love the contrast
20:56of the gold
20:56with the black
20:57rubber strap
20:58you name it
20:59it's got it
20:59it's beautiful
21:00yeah
21:01that dial
21:02is just such a
21:03pop of colour
21:04isn't it
21:05it's nice
21:06I love when they do this
21:07every year with the Daytona
21:08it's just like
21:09everyone wants a
21:10stainless steel Daytona
21:11and then they're like
21:11nah you can't have that
21:12so we'll give you
21:13this crazy yellow gold
21:15or even
21:16what do they bring out
21:17they had the moon
21:18the
21:18what are they
21:19meteorite
21:19I just love what they do
21:20with the Daytona
21:21every year
21:21they're like
21:22you can't have a stainless
21:23well good luck
21:23if you can get a stainless
21:24but you can have this crazy
21:26or maybe you can have
21:27this crazy like
21:29proper F of Daytona
21:31like I love the
21:32burgundy platinum one
21:33I love the
21:34meteorite dial
21:35and this is just like
21:36okay we're gonna be
21:3816 months late
21:39to the Tiffany game
21:40we're just gonna put
21:41black and
21:43yellow gold on it
21:44and I think it's just so
21:44baller
21:45I'm a massive fan of it
21:46yeah
21:46I think contrasting
21:48sub-dials like
21:49it's just so hot
21:50and I think
21:51until you see one of
21:52these things in person
21:53I don't know if people
21:54out there have had a
21:55chance to see a Daytona
21:56like a special
21:57novelty Daytona
21:58in person
21:59but they look so
21:59expensive
22:00they're proper
22:01baller watches
22:02even though the
22:03price tag is like
22:04somewhat
22:05reasonable
22:06it's not a
22:06hundred thousand plus
22:07dollar watch
22:08at retail price at least
22:11Skydweller
22:13it's just a beautiful
22:14I mean people call this
22:15the Australia spec I guess
22:17because it's green and gold
22:18classic Aussie
22:19watch nerd thing
22:20but who doesn't love a
22:22green dial
22:22and especially when you
22:23put a Skydweller on a
22:24nice yellow gold case
22:25it's just
22:26so hot to me
22:27yeah it's good to see
22:28those Aussie colours
22:29shining through
22:30yeah I mean
22:31I just love Skydweller
22:33and then
22:35GMT Master 2
22:36on the
22:37iron
22:37it has a Tiger
22:39iron dial
22:39and I'm not gonna
22:40lie to you
22:40I had no idea
22:41what this was
22:42but apparently
22:42it's a combination
22:43of a bunch of
22:44red stones
22:46it's kind of
22:46it's Everose
22:47it's sort of
22:48root beer-y
22:49on the bezel
22:51it's just a crazy
22:52thing
22:52and I guess
22:53it's just
22:54another
22:54just novelty
22:55from Rolex
22:56in 2025
22:57that is gonna
22:58sell out
22:58it probably
22:59already sold out
23:00at least for the
23:00next 12 months
23:01and go for a lot
23:02of money
23:02but I mean
23:03I like it
23:04I think it's
23:04really cool
23:05I think
23:06people
23:06when this
23:07when this watch
23:08got leaked
23:08I just remember
23:09everyone
23:09I didn't get leaked
23:10I guess
23:10but people sort of
23:11knew it might be
23:12coming
23:13and from a distance
23:14it looks kind of
23:14like one of those
23:15like a bus seat
23:17I don't know
23:18the pattern
23:20that you see
23:20on the
23:21public transport
23:22yeah I don't know
23:22I'm like
23:23I'm looking at it
23:23from here
23:24we've got it on
23:24the street over here
23:25and it's just like
23:26what is that
23:27it looks kind of
23:27like a bus seat
23:28but I guess
23:28it's
23:30it's an iron tiger
23:32tiger iron
23:32I always wonder
23:34like how they
23:35choose that
23:36it's such a
23:37you know
23:37how they choose
23:38that rare stone
23:39like out of all
23:39the stones you can
23:40choose
23:40you chose
23:41tiger iron
23:42like why
23:43yeah I do wonder
23:44that
23:44that's not a bad
23:45thing
23:45I just wonder
23:46what the process
23:47was to
23:47come to the
23:49conclusion
23:49that this is
23:49what we're gonna
23:51release
23:51yeah because
23:52it's not even
23:52it's not like
23:53year of the tiger
23:54or anything
23:54random like that
23:55I think it's just
23:56yeah they must
23:57just have this stuff
23:58planned out
23:59maybe years
24:00ahead
24:00so
24:01maybe the guys
24:02on the ground
24:02can let us know
24:03if they get to
24:04the bottom of that
24:05one but
24:05yeah I'd love to
24:06know I think
24:06it looks cool
24:07I think
24:07when you get a
24:09GMT Master 2
24:10and you make it
24:10crazy I think
24:11you're taking a
24:12tool watch
24:12and you're making
24:13it
24:14I mean it's just
24:15another F off
24:16a watch where
24:16it's just
24:16ever rose gold
24:18with a tiger
24:18I mean it's just
24:19it's the watch
24:20nerds watch
24:21it's like
24:21when you're in
24:22when you're at
24:22watches and wonders
24:23and you don't know
24:24what to wear
24:24like it's just
24:25a go to
24:25it's like
24:26it'd be so obvious
24:26you'd be like
24:27oh yeah I'm just
24:27gonna whip out
24:27the tiger iron
24:29but again
24:30like these things
24:30they're fun
24:31they're fun
24:32watches to look
24:33at and they're
24:33highly collectible
24:34but they're also
24:34just technically
24:35like such
24:36amazing watches
24:37made to such
24:37a high standard
24:38all the materials
24:39are always
24:40you know
24:40the highest
24:41of quality
24:42and technically
24:43they're great
24:43watches too
24:44so like
24:4470 hours power
24:45reserve
24:46it's a GMT
24:46master too
24:47so
24:48yeah
24:49not much else
24:50to say about
24:50that one
24:50but I think
24:51those three
24:52releases
24:52at the end
24:53together
24:54are just
24:54fun and
24:55exciting to
24:55me
24:56I think
24:57if I had to
24:58choose one
24:58I'm going
25:01probably Tiffany
25:02Daytona
25:02what about you
25:03I'm going
25:04Tiger Iron
25:04yeah
25:05Tiger Iron
25:05for sure
25:06all out
25:06yeah I think
25:07it's cool
25:07are you a rose
25:08do you like
25:09the ever rose gold
25:09I'm not really
25:10that into
25:11ever rose gold
25:12in general
25:13usually
25:13there are some
25:15everyone
25:15every different
25:16brand has their
25:17slightly different
25:18rose gold
25:18formula
25:19in the colour
25:20but yeah
25:22I usually would
25:22prefer
25:23yellow gold
25:24over rose gold
25:25I say that
25:26as if I have
25:26all these
25:26like gold
25:28watches
25:28it's nice to
25:29drink
25:29it's like
25:2995% of watches
25:31it's just
25:31dreaming
25:31yeah I think
25:33I do like
25:34Rolex
25:35it's quite pink
25:36I quite like
25:37the ever rose
25:38because it just
25:39leans a little
25:39bit more pink
25:40but especially
25:41on like
25:42these watches
25:43are so serious
25:44when you make
25:44them a little
25:45bit more fun
25:45I think it just
25:46makes it
25:47interesting to me
25:49all right
25:49let's get to
25:50the recap
25:51all right let's
25:52wrap up Rolex
25:53I think we just
25:53did like half
25:54an hour Rolex
25:54I plan to do
25:5520 minutes
25:55so here we
25:56are
25:57I want to
25:58ask you
25:58your favourite
25:58model first
25:59from the release
26:00I have to say
26:01the Landweller
26:02Landweller
26:03just because it's
26:03different
26:04it's unique
26:04even though I'm
26:05not 100%
26:06sold on it
26:07but I'm
26:08not 100%
26:09sold on it
26:09but I just
26:10think it's
26:10interesting
26:11and I think
26:12it's different
26:12and you know
26:13I like that
26:14I think that
26:15there's a lot
26:15of quirky
26:16things about it
26:17that I really
26:18appreciate
26:18yeah are you
26:19going platinum
26:20or
26:20platinum
26:21yeah I think
26:21platinum is
26:22probably the move
26:22I like that
26:23ice blue
26:23I think
26:24there'll be
26:25I think
26:25there'll be
26:25quite a few
26:27of the
26:28roller saw ones
26:28out there
26:29and I think
26:29if you go
26:29platinum
26:30or if you
26:30have the chance
26:30to go
26:31platinum
26:31for 100
26:32grand
26:34it's a cool
26:34one
26:35I think
26:35it's a cool
26:36enthusiast
26:37choice
26:38even just
26:39the watch
26:39in general
26:39is an
26:39enthusiast
26:40choice
26:40not sold
26:41personally
26:41on the
26:42honeycomb
26:42but now
26:43you've
26:43told me
26:43it looks
26:44like a
26:44lamborgie
26:44I'm
26:44probably
26:47yeah I
26:48don't know
26:48I don't even
26:49think it would
26:49look better
26:50with a
26:50like it was
26:51just a
26:51normal
26:51like even
26:52an ombre
26:52dial
26:53ceramic
26:53dial
26:54I don't
26:54think it
26:54would
26:54necessarily
26:55look
26:55better
26:55so I
26:55think
26:56honeycomb
26:56is a
26:56cool
26:57move
26:57for me
26:59I'm
27:00going to
27:00try not
27:00to just
27:01say
27:01Tiffany
27:01Daytona
27:02because
27:02it's
27:02pretty
27:02cliche
27:03but
27:03that's
27:03typical
27:04of
27:04me
27:04but
27:04I
27:05think
27:05I'm
27:05going
27:06pistachio
27:07op41
27:09it's just
27:09a hot
27:09watch
27:10I think
27:10it's just
27:10so
27:11I mean
27:11they would
27:11just go
27:11with
27:12anything
27:12you could
27:12wear that
27:13with a
27:13suit
27:13black
27:14suit
27:14it would
27:14look
27:15so
27:15good
27:15with
27:17but
27:17even
27:17just
27:17on
27:17the
27:18daily
27:18I
27:18just
27:18understand
27:19smooth
27:20bezel
27:21redesigned
27:22case
27:22yeah
27:23good
27:2470 hour
27:24I mean
27:25I can't
27:25complain about
27:26that watch
27:26I love
27:26it
27:2810,000
27:29bucks
27:29is
27:29a fair
27:30price
27:30to pay
27:30for
27:30Rolex
27:31in
27:312025
27:31I
27:32reckon
27:34all right
27:35most
27:36surprising
27:36watch
27:37released
27:37from
27:37Rolex
27:39GMT
27:40with
27:40Tiger
27:40Iron
27:41like
27:41out of
27:41anything
27:42that you
27:42can
27:42make
27:42why
27:43why
27:44it looks
27:45good
27:45yeah
27:45it looks
27:46good
27:46I think
27:46I like
27:46the look
27:47of it
27:47it's just
27:47like
27:47oh
27:47really
27:48Tiger
27:48I thought
27:49yeah
27:49and I said
27:49it
27:49it kind
27:50of looks
27:50like
27:50a bus
27:51seat
27:51but
27:51I mean
27:52I'm
27:52kind
27:52into
27:52it
27:53it
27:53works
27:53I think
27:54when you
27:54see it
27:56too
27:57like
27:57it's
27:57just
27:57I think
27:58it makes
27:58a lot
27:58of sense
27:58I'm into
27:59it
27:59I think
28:00I'm kind
28:01of
28:01alongside
28:01you
28:02there
28:04but
28:04if I
28:05had to
28:05say
28:05most
28:05surprising
28:09I think
28:10it's even
28:10the fact
28:11they've
28:11made
28:11the
28:11land
28:12dweller
28:1236
28:12mil
28:13I think
28:14it's
28:15interesting
28:15like
28:15they don't
28:16when they
28:16when Rolex
28:17typically puts
28:18out a release
28:18they don't
28:19necessarily cater
28:19to everyone
28:20but they've
28:20catered to
28:21everyone
28:21here
28:21which is
28:21cool
28:21you can
28:22have
28:22a
28:22gem
28:22say
28:22you can
28:23have
28:23everose
28:23you can
28:23have
28:24it
28:24platinum
28:25you can
28:25have
28:25it
28:27in so
28:27many
28:28different
28:28ways
28:29and then
28:29they've
28:29gone
28:29okay
28:30we're
28:30going
28:30to
28:30do
28:30that
28:30but
28:30also
28:31make
28:31it
28:3136
28:31mil
28:31so
28:32I
28:32think
28:32they're
28:32trying
28:33to go
28:33for
28:33a decent
28:34amount
28:34of
28:34volume
28:35with
28:35this
28:35release
28:36and I
28:36think
28:36it
28:36appeals
28:37to
28:37everyone
28:37out
28:38there
28:38men
28:38women
28:40and I
28:41think
28:41it's
28:41cool
28:41they've
28:41done
28:42that
28:42I
28:42didn't
28:42expect
28:42them
28:42to
28:43do
28:43that
28:43I
28:43thought
28:43they
28:43might
28:43just
28:43bring
28:44out
28:44one
28:44like
28:44when
28:44they
28:44had
28:45the
28:451908
28:45they
28:45pretty
28:46much
28:46just
28:46released
28:46a new
28:47model
28:48we're
28:48just
28:48going
28:48to
28:49give
28:49you
28:49a couple
28:50versions
28:50of it
28:51but
28:51they've
28:51got
28:5110
28:52different
28:52references
28:53for the
28:54land
28:54dweller
28:55so
28:55that was
28:56cool
28:56the watch
28:57itself
28:58that's
28:58got to
28:58be
28:58the most
28:59leaked
28:59watch
28:59in Rolex
29:01for the
29:01last couple
29:02of years
29:02so I
29:03just want
29:03to know
29:03what that
29:03coast
29:04dweller
29:04looks like
29:04whenever
29:05that
29:05comes
29:05out
29:05I'm
29:06getting
29:06excited
29:06I wonder
29:07whether
29:08next year
29:08we're
29:09going
29:09to
29:09see
29:09more
29:09leaks
29:10from
29:11some
29:11celebrities
29:13sightings
29:13of some
29:14new
29:14products
29:14I think
29:15now that
29:15Rolex
29:16has done
29:16it
29:16we'll see
29:17it from
29:18other
29:18brands
29:18as well
29:18I think
29:19it'll be
29:19a trend
29:19moving
29:20forward
29:20for sure
29:21if you
29:21had to
29:21pick one
29:22to wear
29:23what are
29:23you going
29:24as a
29:25daily
29:25driver
29:25probably
29:26just the
29:26or it's
29:27a perpetual
29:28in beige
29:28just understated
29:30clean
29:30knock it
29:31around
29:31no fuss
29:32kind of
29:33thing
29:33and it's
29:34good
29:34it's a
29:34beautiful
29:35I think
29:35they wear
29:36quite well
29:36too
29:36I mean
29:37like
29:38literally
29:38and
29:39over
29:39time
29:39I think
29:40little
29:41nicks and
29:41scratches
29:41on a
29:42oyster
29:42petula
29:42kind of
29:43adds a
29:43bit of
29:44character
29:44to it
29:45beige
29:45yeah I'm
29:46going
29:46beige
29:47I think
29:47the beige
29:47as well
29:48it looks
29:48a bit
29:48vintage
29:49it has
29:50a vintage
29:51feel to
29:51it
29:52so I
29:52like that
29:52about it
29:53I think
29:53the thing
29:54about the
29:54beige
29:54for me
29:55which
29:56personally
29:56ruined
29:57a little
29:57bit
29:57is I'm
29:58not a
29:58Linendale
29:58fan
29:59like I
29:59know
30:00people
30:00there's
30:01a lot
30:01of
30:01Linendale
30:01Rolex
30:02fans
30:02out there
30:02but I'm
30:03not one
30:03of them
30:08I go
30:08it's not
30:09really for
30:09me
30:09but I
30:10think
30:11it's a
30:11classy
30:11choice
30:11I think
30:12pistachio
30:13for me
30:13I would
30:13even go
30:14lavender
30:14on a
30:15little
30:1536
30:15I think
30:16that could
30:16look kind
30:16of cool
30:17but I'm
30:18a 41
30:18guy
30:18I think
30:2036
30:21sizings
30:22it's a good
30:23size like you
30:23definitely wear
30:24it but I
30:25think I'm a
30:2541 guy
30:26I like your
30:27choice
30:27I think
30:28oyster petula
30:29as a daily
30:29driver is just
30:30such a good
30:30choice
30:30yeah and I
30:31think too in
30:32the beige as
30:32well it's a
30:33bit more of a
30:33if you know
30:34you know it's
30:35not drawing
30:35attention you just
30:37it's a bit
30:38more discreet
30:39yeah I think
30:40I like that
30:40discreet nature
30:41to it
30:42what am I
30:43wearing every
30:43day I think
30:44I'm gonna
30:44go
30:46platinum
30:46land
30:47dweller
30:47gym set
30:50180,000
30:51no I reckon
30:54it's a tough
30:55one
30:57I'm gonna
30:58do
31:00I'm like
31:01randomly on
31:02the gold watch
31:03thing right now
31:04I don't know
31:04why
31:06I really
31:07don't think I
31:07can wear a
31:08gold watch
31:08but the
31:10Aussie sky
31:11dweller
31:11why not
31:13like green
31:14dial I
31:14think it
31:15was the
31:16thing to
31:16have I
31:17think it
31:17was three
31:17years ago
31:18four years
31:18ago maybe
31:19even less
31:20two years
31:20ago but
31:22that green
31:22and gold
31:23baby
31:23rev the
31:24Aussies
31:25what about
31:26this well
31:27I've got one
31:28for you I
31:28think I think
31:29this is right
31:29up your alley
31:30so I think
31:312026 they
31:32might come out
31:32with the
31:33land dweller
31:33yellow gold
31:35with their
31:36rainbow
31:36gem set
31:38that's so
31:39why not
31:40that's like the
31:41land dweller
31:41even more
31:42yeah I think
31:44that'd be crazy
31:45but I'm going
31:46sky dweller
31:46I think that's
31:47the move for
31:48me I just
31:49love that watch
31:49in general
31:50even like white
31:51gold I think
31:53it's an underrated
31:53watch like
31:54whenever you see
31:55I think you go
31:57to things like I
31:58remember at F1
31:58so the funny
31:59thing about F1
32:01this year is
32:01obviously it's
32:02LVMH so
32:02everything's tag
32:03and I'm
32:03massive tag
32:04guy but
32:05everyone still
32:06was wearing
32:06their Rolexes
32:07and you
32:09were not a
32:10cool person
32:10if you're wearing
32:11a Submariner
32:11or a GMT
32:12Master 2
32:13I mean you're
32:14a bit cooler
32:14but or a
32:16Datejust but
32:16you were a
32:17pretty cool
32:17person if you
32:17have a sky
32:18dweller or
32:20I mean even
32:21a Daytona man
32:21I think I saw
32:22a million Daytona
32:23so I think
32:23I'm of that
32:25crowd I'm going
32:26sky dweller and
32:27I think the
32:27Aussie edition
32:28sky dweller
32:30yeah that's
32:31that's me
32:31so that's
32:32it for the
32:322025 Rolex
