00:00Hey volunteers, how are you guys doing? Welcome to Casa Nomada.
00:04My name is Erika.
00:05And I'm Marco and let's come inside and have a peek in our paradise.
00:20So we're living here in Bali since three years.
00:23We always wanted to have a home because we were traveling for almost three years.
00:26So we love Bali and we decided to create the Casa Nomada.
00:30First it was meant for ourselves and then we decided to put really different corners
00:35which are really aesthetic.
00:37And now Casa Nomada is well known as a photography spot here in Bali
00:41because we offer quite a big variety and people just like it.
00:50So about here in the kitchen as you probably can see already
00:52we have these huge pendants from natural material which we super love
00:56because they're kind of an eye-catcher.
00:59And we love terrasso material so basically all our counters are made from terrasso
01:03like the coating.
01:04We love it, it's beautiful to look at but it's high maintenance.
01:07That's what we had to live with it.
01:09As you probably can already see we love arches
01:11that's why we want to have them in the kitchen as well.
01:13And we also love the combination of like the nice terrasso material and the raw wood.
01:18So that's why we decided to have some cabinets made from burnt wood.
01:22So to give them nice contrast between the two materials.
01:25And as well we love like a bit simple but nice decoration in earthy tones.
01:35So let's move to the next room, it's going to be our bedroom.
01:38We have two but they're basically the same, just mirrored.
01:41So let's have a look in one of them and yeah let's show you around.
01:48So as you can see we keep the aesthetics of the house consistent and as well our cats.
01:54So you can see here also warm earthy tones, we have a combination of different materials.
01:58We have also raw wood, we have terrasso, we have some marble decoration items.
02:03And as you can see we love arches so that's why we have arches as well.
02:11And of course every bedroom should have its own bathroom so let's have a look over there.
02:19So here we are in the bathroom and we wanted to have an eye catcher and we love Roman baths.
02:24So that's why we have this sunken shower and as well we want to have an item which basically complements
02:30the whole scenery.
02:31So we have an arch again.
02:32But not only the arch which is my favorite part here actually is our skylight which casts a real nice
02:38light around 12pm midday.
02:40And that's why I love the whole bathroom here.
02:46So my favorite part of the house is actually our new terrace because the style is totally different.
02:50But before I'm going to show you this, let's have a look around the pool area and we bring Nalita
02:54with us.
03:01In Bali it's getting really hot because it's in tropical islands so we needed to have a pool.
03:05We love to have a refreshing dip here.
03:06We have different hangout spots here which also our photography clients love to use.
03:10So we have a bergola with a hammock in there.
03:13We have some lounging chairs which are nice to read a book or take a sunbath.
03:16And we have our archway with a sofa cushion which is really comfortable.
03:21And yeah, we have different spots here and we love to have some variety in our outside area.
03:29Before I'm going to show you my favorite part of the house, let's have a look upstairs in the living
03:33room in the mezzanine.
03:34And yeah, let's have a look guys.
03:47And here we are in our living room.
03:49Which you love about it is because we're facing the sunset direction, we get some really nice golden hour light
03:54here.
03:55And especially it's also nice to watch the sunset.
03:57And because we can close up the whole area with our folding door, we have an aircon unit here.
04:03It's quite big so it's like really nice and chill during the day when it's really hot outside.
04:07And yeah, we want to have it really cozy with the niches.
04:11Like my wife designed all the niches with our, yeah, to put some nice decoration inside.
04:16And that's our living room.
04:22And now it's finally time to show you my favorite part of the house, our Moroccan terrace.
04:27In the beginning we had like a simple terrace there but we decided it's not special enough for us.
04:32And we wanted to have some, a corner which is totally different to the rest of the house.
04:36And we love traveling.
04:38And that's why we decided to design it a whole different way.
04:48So welcome to 1001 Arabian Nights.
04:52As you can see, it's totally different to the rest of the villa.
04:55We love traveling as I told you.
04:58So we love also like Morocco.
05:00We went to different Arabian countries.
05:02They all inspire us for this corner here.
05:05And that's why we decided for the shapes.
05:07It's not a typical normal arch shape.
05:09We have these Arabian arches.
05:11The color, the decoration, the overall look got inspired by traveling to these countries.
05:16And because it's so different, that's why it's my favorite part of the whole villa.
05:25So this terrace has a nickname, the Boho corner.
05:28It's a bit more Boho style here.
05:30We have these cushions here.
05:32It's a nice corner.
05:33It's really nice and comfortable here to relax with the cats.
05:37Nala loves to come here all the time.
05:39It's a favorite spot to watch the sunset as well.
05:42And yeah, we love these shadows here.
05:44I call these zebra shadows.
05:46They get cast at like around 12 p.m. around midday with the burglar.
05:51And that's where we hang out with the cats.
05:53And they enjoy here the day and as well the evenings.
05:55This fantasy.
06:00So I can recognize what's under my skin.
06:05I need this selfish dream.
06:11So I can understand this game we've been playing.
06:16I need you, baby.
