00:15Bersatu Presiden Muhyiddin Yassin says the party remains strong despite the resignation of two senior leaders from its Supreme Council.

00:23He made the remarks after casting his ballot at SMK Sri Mwa.

00:27Perlis Menteri Besar Abu Bakar Hamzah and Kedah Executive Councilor Marzita Mansur resigned from the party's Supreme Council on Thursday.

00:36Abu Bakar was quoted by Berita Harian as saying he resigned so he could focus on governing Perlis.

00:42He said he and Marzita struggled to attend Supreme Council meetings and he wanted to concentrate on his responsibilities in

00:49the state, with about a year left in the administration's term.
