00:00Suspended Bersatu Vice President Ronald Kiandi has questioned whether the party's Supreme
00:05Council still has the quorum needed to hold valid meetings. Kiandi said Muhyiddin Yassin's claim
00:11that Bersatu's internal crisis would be resolved internally did not address whether the council
00:17could still function under the party constitution. Citing Bersatu's constitution, he said more than
00:22half of the Supreme Council members must be present for a meeting to be valid.
00:27Kiandi claimed that out of 49 Supreme Council members, 27 had either quit the party,
00:32resigned from their posts, been sacked or suspended. He said failure to prove that the quorum could still
00:38be met would raise serious questions over the validity of decisions made by the Supreme Council.
00:43Kiandi warned that Bersatu risked being placed in administrative limbo if the council could no
00:48longer make decisions that were valid under the party constitution. He also said the crisis could
00:54affect Perikatan Nacional's administration and planning ahead of the Negeri Sembilan state
00:58election and urged the PN Supreme Council to meet immediately to assess Bersatu's position within
01:04the coalition. Adrienne Fernandez, FMT
