00:00Marzouki Mohammad, former Principal Private Secretary to Muhyiddin Yassin, said the consistent attacks from within and outside the party, including Brikatan National Component Parties, are aimed at forcing the Bersatu president to step down.
00:16He said attacks on the former Prime Minister have intensified, including from past leaders who have openly used phrases such as, get lost and your time is finished, against him, with many waiting eagerly to applaud the success of the Muhyiddin exit project.
00:31In a Facebook post, Marzouki said that for PAS, PN's problems would be resolved once Muhyiddin steps down, as the party would then appoint its own candidate as PN chairman.
00:42According to a leaked January 27 letter, Muhyiddin said PAS and Bersatu had agreed at a meeting to abolish the PN chairman's post as part of a restructuring that would see Bersatu head the Presidential Council and PAS lead the Executive Committee.
00:58PAS Deputy President Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, who allegedly attended the meeting, later denied Muhyiddin's claim.
01:04Marzouki suggested that Bersatu Deputy President Hamza Zainuddin could assume the Bersatu presidency following Muhyiddin's exit, claiming that this would position Bersatu for eventual absorption into UMNO, strengthening UMNO's position ahead of the next general election.
01:22He concluded that Muhyiddin's exit would likely cement Anwar Ibrahim's position as Prime Minister after the next general election.
