00:00Bersatu Vice President Radzi Jirin says the party's Supreme Council still has enough members to hold meetings.
00:09In a Facebook post, Radzi said Bersatu's constitution requires at least 50% of Supreme Council members be present before
00:18a meeting can be convened.
00:19He said the council currently has 23 members, meaning only 12 are needed for a valid meeting.
00:26Radzi said this meant the Supreme Council could continue meeting and that it was business as usual for the party.
00:33His remarks came after suspended Bersatu Vice President Ronald Kjandi questioned whether the council still had the required quorum.
00:41Kjandi had claimed that 27 out of 49 Supreme Council members had either left the party, resigned from their posts,
00:49been sacked or suspended.
00:51The dispute over quorum comes amid continuing turmoil in Bersatu following a series of resignations, sackings and suspensions involving senior
01:02party figures.
