00:01I think it's important to continue having conversations about mental health
00:05because talking is the best thing you can do when you're feeling alone and
00:09connecting and removing that stigma of like you have to keep it to yourself is
00:14the most helpful thing we can do as a society for other people.
00:17I think our views about mental health have evolved a lot since we
00:22started. Being a touring band and being away from home and changing our day-to-day
00:27schedules we just have to adapt to a lot of things and mental health and therapy
00:32have helped a lot and I think it's just evolved into seeing it as getting to
00:39know yourself a lot better and then getting to know yourself you know how
00:42you work and how you can adapt to the world around you so honestly I think
00:47that's like so beautiful and I hope we can still do it.
00:51Some of the tools I use when struggling with my own mental health first of all I
00:56go to therapy so I do talk to somebody constantly about our crazy lives but
01:01also just meditating breathing exercises grounding exercises I have this thing
01:07called an emergency list of things that I do to feel human again like wash my face
01:13light a candle drink some water those things really helped me like after a
01:18tough show after a week. Going to a mental safe space as well just like create
01:23your own environment of everything that you love it's also good and just
01:27connecting with nature sometimes as well
