00:03you've been very open about some of the the terrible things you've endured uh throughout
00:09your career um i'm just curious like how have you learned to protect yourself now
00:15and protect your mental health um as a seasoned artist not even as a seasoned artist i think as
00:22a human being it's really important to be able to actually check in with yourself daily throughout
00:27the day we were on set um two weeks ago and we had to shoot 13 music videos in three
00:33days and i think
00:34by the end of the second day i was kind of hitting a wall and i felt like i was
00:39getting anxious because
00:40i wanted to get everything done but i wanted everything to look good so what did i do for
00:44that moment i shut all the lights off in my dressing room and i invited whoever wanted to come it
00:49was
00:49like maybe 10 of us and we were just all laying on the floor and we put some meditation music
00:53on just
00:54to calm ourselves and i think it's really important to be in tune with yourself and if
00:58you're feeling anxious or you're feeling a little sad the best technique for me is to not judge
01:04yourself and not trying to try to run away from those feelings it's like how can i soothe myself
01:09and that's different for everybody it might be a walk it might be going to get a cup of coffee

01:14though it sounds like it might be counterintuitive but for me i like a nice cup of coffee you know

01:19like feel soothing something warm maybe a bath maybe listening to your favorite song or even
01:24just sitting there and breathing it's the simple things that really really won't work and i feel
01:28like you got that confidence now where you're like you know i i know this might not be the most
01:33convenient thing for the day and our our timeline but if you want the best bb rexa this is what

01:39to do for a second even if like for me sometimes like i'll just go to the bathroom yeah you

01:45just sit you know you can sit on the toilet a little extra longer you know obviously you have
01:50the you know the toilet seat covering or you know you just go to the bathroom close the door you

01:53just take a deep breath whatever put some water on your neck like you have to be able to know
01:58yourself because i feel like a lot of times especially women and i'm sure men as well uh you
02:02let me know but i feel like we push push push push and then like we kind of hit a
02:06wall and i think
02:07it's important to be like i need a second right right you know absolutely and then if you can't say
02:12that because you feel like you're around like you know work people or whatever go to the bathroom
02:16yeah yeah so you have to run out real quick yeah that's your that's you know my little secret
