00:00It has been a very wet stretch from the holiday weekend into the early part of this past week.
00:04Some areas seeing well over 2 to 4 inches of rain, isolated spots over half a foot.
00:08We got a brief break in many areas on Wednesday, but that's not lasting long.
00:12Thursday, showers and thunderstorms increase across much of the northeast once again.
00:17It's going to get a little warmer, a little more humid.
00:19Temperatures generally in the 80s, but look at Boston and Portland near 90 degrees there,
00:23with scattered storms returning for some.
00:25Some of these will be severe Thursday along I-95 from Philadelphia down into southern parts of Virginia and northern
00:31North Carolina.
00:32And we're going to have a couple of days with all of it on showers and thunderstorms Thursday and again
00:36on Friday.
00:37Most numerous in the afternoon, localized flash flooding and some damaging wind potential,
00:42greatest south of the Pennsylvania Turnpike on both occasions.
00:46Friday, showers and storms will also be fairly widespread across the area, but we will begin to dry back out
00:51behind this.
00:51We'll also cool down slightly with a little bit of a dip in the humidity.
00:54You can see Friday, still near 90, near I-95, but a little cooler near the Great Lakes.
00:59Strong storms again to the south with some flash flood risks in the Ohio Valley.
