00:00Former Bangi MP Ong Kian Ming says Pakatan Harapan leaders are in denial over growing anti-coalition sentiment, especially among
00:09non-Malay voters.
00:11He predicted that a wave of anti-PH sentiment would emerge in the Johor election this Saturday.
00:18He also warned that this could spill into the Negeri Sembilan polls next month and the next general election.
00:24Ong was responding to criticism of his projection that Barisan Nacional could win as many as 53 of Johor's 56
00:33seats, with PH taking only three and PN winning none.
00:38DAP Deputy Secretary General Stephen Sim had said the prediction was merely an assumption and had no bearing on the
00:45actual outcome.
00:46Ong said BN had consolidated its campaign around the coalition's Johor chief on Hafez Gazi's leadership and on credible and
00:55experienced governance.
00:57He said PH's failure to name a Muntri Besar candidate had weakened the coalition's narrative.
01:03In the 2022 Johor state election, BN won 40 seats, PH 12, PN 3 and Muda 1.
01:11Johor goes to the polls again this Saturday.
