00:00The World Cup is upon us. United States plays at 8 o'clock tonight against Belgium.
00:06Going to be a really, really exciting match. Lots of World Cup action over the weekend.
00:11Happening across North America. Yeah, it's huge. We are the hosts. It's very exciting.
00:16However, you know, if you think about going to one of these games, you're not just going to have the
00:21chance to eat a burger.
00:23You know, chicken tendies, a hot dog. Hot dog, yeah.
00:27These stadiums are really trying to show some culture.
00:30So I'm going to take you through what different stadiums that have hosted World Cup games are creating.
00:36Kansas City has a 17-hour smoked short rib pastrami.
00:41Oh my gosh. I know. Doesn't that just make your mouth water? Incredible.
00:45Miami, don't know how I feel about this. Caviar topped tater tots.
00:50Huh, okay. And they also have a five pound empanada.
00:54Oh my gosh. Yeah. Five pounds?
00:58It's huge. It's absolutely massive.
01:00San Francisco has the Bay Rito dog, blending the city signature Mission-style burritos with classic stadium fare.
01:07It's a foot-long hot dog pressed into a flour tortilla.
01:11Yeah. So it's like kind of taking off of like, you know, burrito, hot dog combined.
01:17Yeah. And I feel like that's like so American is to combine two types of foods into one and then
01:25like mixing the name together.
01:28Yeah. It's what we do best.
01:30Boston, a massive lobster roll. I mean, it's already known for great lobster rolls, of course.
01:35Oh, that sounds delicious.
01:36This one is stuffed with heavy mayo, lemon, toasted celery seed, and fresh claw and knuckle meat.
01:43So it's just like, mm, and it's huge, naturally.
01:46We would only do that in the U.S. Our serving sizes are massive.
01:50New York and New Jersey, the Elote Lobster Roll and Colombian Hot Dog.
01:56So the hot dog is stacked with charred pineapple salsa, ketchup mayo, and crispy potato sticks.
02:02Okay. I feel like when you do get that, you have to just make sure that there is a hot
02:08dog in the bun.
02:09Right.
02:09Just being stacked with all of that stuff.
02:12You can't even find the hot dog.
02:13You have to get through everything else.
02:15That's the final boss is the actual hot dog.
02:18And then Atlanta has an oxtail egg roll and dirty bird wings.
02:24Inspired by the Southern City's culinary culture, these egg rolls are filled with braised oxtail,
02:30sautéed peppers and onions, and jerk aioli with a side of plantain chips.
02:35That does sound good.
02:37It does sound really good.
02:38I mean, listen, I'm just, how many hot dogs did you have over the weekend?
02:42Oh my gosh, none.
02:43What?
02:44I know, right?
02:45I swear.
02:46I don't eat a lot of hot dogs throughout the year.
02:49It's just like, it just doesn't happen upon me.
02:51Yeah.
02:51I had five hot dogs this weekend.
02:55Oh my gosh.
02:56You should have entered against Johnny Chestnut.
02:58I definitely should have.
02:59Joey Chestnut.
03:00Close enough.
03:01It's okay.
03:02Don't worry.
03:02That's his brother.
03:04His brother entered years ago.
03:05Good old Johnny Chestnut.
03:07Donnie's not as good as you.
03:08Yeah.
03:08And then, you know, two for lunch the next day.
03:11Then friends came over, had some extra.
03:12I grilled them up.
03:13Five hot dogs in the weekend.
03:15I don't think that was too embarrassing, right?
03:18Oh my God.
03:18No, no, no.
03:19No, not at all.
03:20That's a very normal amount for Fourth of July weekend.
03:23Yeah, but none of them had any sort of pineapple salsa or crispy potato sticks on them.
03:29They were just classic.
03:30Cool.
03:30Cool.
03:31Cool.
03:31Cool.
03:31Cool.
