00:00Taylor Frankie Paul has checked herself into rehab amid escalating co-parenting drama with
00:04exes Dakota Mortensen and Tate Paul. According to People, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star
00:09entered treatment upon the recommendation of her doctor and has already completed her stay.
00:14A source told the outlet she's committed to getting better, adding that the people around
00:17Taylor want to see her get the help she needs. The insider also said everyone is focused on
00:21protecting Taylor's three children, daughter Indy, son Ocean, and son Ever. Taylor shares
00:26Ever with Dakota Mortensen, while Indy and Ocean are from her previous marriage to Tate Paul.
00:31TMZ, which first reported the rehab stay, claimed Taylor spent one week in the facility,
00:36but her time and treatment reportedly created new conflict with Mortensen.
00:39According to TMZ, a source close to Dakota alleged Taylor violated their dual protective orders
00:44after a third party reached out to arrange a visit with their son Ever to make up for time she
00:49missed
00:49while in rehab. The Bluffdale Police Department in Utah confirmed to Us Weekly that Mortensen
00:54contacted officers to ask whether a violation had occurred. Police later spoke with Taylor,
00:58and authorities will ultimately determine whether the protective order was breached.
01:02Taylor addressed the latest incident in a since-deleted TikTok post, writing,
01:06Cops called on me again this week. What are the odds? And it's not people. It's one person.
01:11The same person. It's obsessive.
01:13A source also told Page Six that Taylor and Dakota have not seen or spoken to each other since
01:18protective orders were issued in April. Mortensen currently has primary physical custody of Ever,
01:23while Taylor has supervised visitation. The legal drama doesn't stop there. News also broke on June
01:2830th that Taylor's ex-husband, Tate Paul, has filed a restraining order against her and is requesting
01:34sole custody of their two children, Indy and Ocean. According to TMZ, a source close to Taylor claimed
01:40Tate's filing was a direct result of Dakota allegedly telling him false information about her. The source
01:45added that Taylor believes Dakota will do anything to hurt her, including using the children,
01:49but said she considers herself a survivor. Taylor and Tate were married from 2016 to 2022,
01:55while Taylor and Dakota had an on-again, off-again relationship until 2025.
02:00Since their split, both Taylor and Dakota have publicly accused each other of domestic violence.
02:05And as the custody dispute continues to unfold, Taylor's recent rehab stay has become the latest
02:09chapter in an increasingly complicated legal battle.
