00:00We prepared some delicious Peruvian picarones. In a pot we put sweet potato, pumpkin, water and cinnamon.
00:08We cook until soft and then mash.
00:14We add unprepared soybeans, anise seeds, and a yeast mixture. We cover it and let it rest.
00:22About two hours later we hit the dough to make it rise faster.
00:29We let it rest for a longer time.
00:30Before frying, we dip our fingers in salted water and take a small portion of the dough.
00:35We fry them in hot oil, giving them the shape of the typical picarón.
00:39We serve it piping hot with chancaca honey. Delicious!
