00:13In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:19Peace be with you.
00:21We acknowledge our sins, but more importantly the compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:28Loving God, you are with us in good times and in bad times. Lord, have mercy.
00:33You turn to good everything for those who love you. Christ, have mercy.
00:37You call us away from fear into love. Lord, have mercy.
00:42May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:50Let us pray.
00:51O God, who through the grace of adoption chose us to be children of light.
00:57Grant, we pray, that we may not be wrapped in the darkness of error, but always be seen to stand
01:03in the bright light of truth.
01:05Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you, and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and
01:12ever. Amen.
01:16A reading from the prophet Amos.
01:20Listen, sons of Israel, to this oracle the Lord speaks against you, against the whole family I brought out of
01:29the land of Egypt.
01:31You alone of all the families of earth have I acknowledged.
01:36Therefore, it is for all your sins that I mean to punish you.
01:41Do two men take the road together if they have not planned to do so?
01:48Does the lion roar in the jungle if no prey has been found?
01:53Does the young lion growl in his lael if he has captured nothing?
02:01Does the bird fall to the ground if no trap has been set?
02:05Does the snare spring up from the ground if nothing has been caught?
02:11Does the trumpet sound in the city without the populace becoming alarmed?
02:17Does misfortune come to a city if the Lord has not sent it?
02:23No more does the Lord do anything without revealing his plans to his servants, the prophets.
02:30The lion roars, who can help feeling afraid?
02:34The Lord speaks, who can refuse to prophesy?
02:40I overtrew you as God overtrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
02:45And you are like a brand snatched from the blaze, and yet you never come back to me.
02:51It is the Lord who speaks.
02:53This, therefore, Israel, is what I plan to do for you.
02:57And because I'm going to do this to you, Israel, prepare to meet your God.
03:04The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
03:09Lead me in your justice, Lord. Lead me in your justice, Lord.
03:14You are no God who loves evil. No sinner is your guest.
03:19The boastful shall not stand their ground before your face.
03:23Lead me in your justice, Lord.
03:26You hate all who do evil. You destroy all who lie.
03:30The deceitful and bloodthirsty man, the Lord detests.
03:34Lead me in your justice, Lord.
03:38But I, through the greatness of your love, have access to your house.
03:42I bow down before your holy temple, filled with awe.
03:47Lead me to your justice, Lord.
03:50Alleluia, alleluia. I hope in the Lord. I trust in his word. Alleluia.
03:58The Lord be with you.
04:00A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
04:05Glory to you, O Lord.
04:08Jesus got into the boat, followed by his disciples.
04:13Without warning, a storm broke over the lake, so violent that the waves were breaking right over the boat.
04:21But he was asleep.
04:23So they went to him and woke him up, saying,
04:27Save us, Lord. We are going down.
04:29And he said to them, Why are you so frightened, you men of little faith?
04:35And with that he stood up and reviewed the winds and the sea.
04:40And all was calm again.
04:43The men were astonished and said, What kind of man is this?
04:48Even the winds and the sea obey him.
04:52The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
04:56Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:00When we look at the huge injustices that people can do to each other and the evil that is done,
05:06there is a warning in that first reading.
05:09I know what's going on.
05:11Don't just take it for granted that nothing can happen, that there are no consequences of evil.
05:17So there is a real strong warning there.
05:20In the Gospel, of course, they are in the middle of a big storm.
05:24They think they are going to drown.
05:25And they are terrified.
05:27And he is asleep.
05:28But he is there.
05:29And he does quiet in the wind.
05:32So even if we think Jesus is asleep in our own lives, we remember that he is with us.
05:38And that he can calm any storm.
05:42Whatever happens, we are never alone.
05:54Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for to your goodness we have this bread to offer.
05:59Which earth has given human hands have made, it will become for us the bread of life.
06:04Blessed be God forever.
06:25Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for to your goodness we have this wine to offer.
06:29fruit of divine work of human hands, it will become our spiritual dream.
06:46Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
06:52May the Lord accept the sacrifice at our hands, for the praise and glory of God's name, for our good
06:58and the good of God's Holy Church.
07:01O God, who graciously accomplished the effects of your mysteries, grant, we pray, that the deeds by which we serve
07:08you may be worthy of these sacred gifts, through Christ our Lord.
07:12Amen.
07:16The Lord be with you.
07:18Lift up your hearts.
07:20Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:24It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation.
07:27Always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father Most Holy, to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, your word to whom
07:35you made all things, whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer, incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of
07:41the Virgin, fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people.
07:46He stretched out his hands as he endured his passion, so as to break the bonds of death and manifest
07:53the resurrection.
07:54And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice we are praying.
08:01Holy, holy, holy Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
08:08Hosanna in the highest.
08:10Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
08:13Hosanna in the highest.
08:16You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
08:20Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they
08:26may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:31Hosanna in the highest.
08:32Hosanna in the highest.
08:32Hosanna in the highest.
08:34Hosanna in the highest.
08:35Hosanna in the highest.
08:42Hosanna in the highest.
08:45Hosanna in the highest.
08:47Hosanna in the highest.
08:48Hosanna in the highest.
08:49Hosanna in the highest.
08:49Hosanna in the highest.
08:50Hosanna in the highest.
08:51Hosanna in the highest.
08:51Hosanna in the highest.
08:54Hosanna in the highest.
08:55Hosanna in the highest.
08:56Hosanna in the highest.
08:57Hosanna in the highest.
09:01And once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:06Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood,
09:12the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be pulled out for you and for many
09:18for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me.
09:31The mystery of faith. We proclaim your death, O Lord,
09:37and profess your resurrection until you come again.
09:48Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
09:51we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
09:55giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:01Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
10:04we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:08Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world
10:11and bring her to the fullness of charity.
10:14Together with Theo, our Pope, meet your unworthy servant and all the clergy.
10:19Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection
10:24and all who have died in your mercy.
10:27Welcome them into the light of your face.
10:31Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
10:36blessed Joseph, the spouse, with the blessed apostles,
10:40and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
10:43we may merit to be coerced to eternal life
10:46and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
10:54Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty, Father,
10:57in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours forever and ever. Amen.
11:06At the Saviour's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say,
11:10Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
11:15Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11:20Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
11:24as we forgive those who trespass against us
11:27and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
11:32Deliver us, Lord, from every evil.
11:34Graciously grant peace in our days
11:36that by the help of your mercy
11:38we may be always free from sin
11:40and safe from all distress
11:41as we await the blessed hope
11:43and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
11:46For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours
11:50now and forever.
11:52Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
11:55Peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
11:57Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church.
12:00And graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
12:04who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
12:09The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
12:12Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
12:15Peace be with you all.
12:18Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:22Have mercy on us.
12:23Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:27Have mercy on us.
12:28Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
12:32Grant us peace.
12:34Amen.
12:45Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.
12:48Happy are those who are called to the supper of the Lamb.
12:51Lord, I am not worthy you should enter under my roof,
12:54but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
12:57My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
13:03I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
13:08Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
13:11commonly, spiritually into my heart,
13:13I embrace you as if you were already there,
13:16and unite myself wholly to you.
13:19Never permit me to be separated from you.
13:22Amen.
13:25Let us pray.
13:29May this divine sacrifice we have offered and received fill us with life, O Lord, we pray,
13:35so that I bow to you in lasting charity,
13:38who may bear fruit at last forever.
13:41Through Christ our Lord.
13:43Amen.
13:43The Lord be with you.
13:45And may the peace and the blessing of the Father and of the Son
13:48and of the Holy Spirit come upon you and remain always with you.
13:51Let us go and proclaim the gospel by our lives.
13:55Thanks be to God.
13:57And God bless you again.
