00:00date squares. An old recipe. She has it written right here, old recipe. And so
00:05there's two cups of dates. Add a cup of water and the zest of a lemon. Then we
00:11all use the juice of a lemon. Cook this now for about 12 minutes. So while this
00:16is cooking, we can be making the crust. Okay. So we'll combine one and a half
00:20cups of flour. This is to show the difference between a regular oat. That's
00:26a nice rolled, steel rolled oat. And this is the quick variety we'll use in here.
00:30One and a half cups. A cup of light brown sugar. Oh yeah, here we go. And a half a
00:34teaspoon of baking soda. One and a half sticks of butter. You're supposed to work
00:38this with your fingers. So should I press this in to hear how much? About two
00:43thirds of it, I think. Oh, two thirds go in the bog. So now spread this. Right. And now
00:47this. Yep, over the top. But just crumbled. Uh-huh. Okay. You could press it down a
00:52little bit. So now this gets into a 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes. And
00:58when they come out, we already have one done. Look how pretty it looks. It looks
01:01so great. Oh, they're perfect. They are.
