The gold medal oatmeal cookie is Martha’s treat of the Olympics. In this video, Martha Stewart shows you how to make her gold metal oatmeal cookies packed with raisins and walnuts, but you could sub in chocolate chunks or toffee pieces for an extra sweet treat. Each cookie is two scoops of dough, giving them their celebratory size.

00:00giant gold medal oatmeal cookies. And we start in our big mixer. We have one cup of unsalted
00:07butter at room temperature, and we have one cup of white granulated sugar, and one cup of light
00:14brown sugar. And now turn the mixer onto low and let that get nice and creamy. One cup of flour
00:22added to a bowl that has three cups of rolled oats. We need one teaspoon of baking soda,
00:30and one teaspoon of baking powder. Now we need a pinch of salt, and you can add your two eggs,
00:37a half a cup of our wheat germ. So that is going to be added now to our creamy mixture,
00:43and then
00:44we're going to add one and a quarter cups of raisins, and one and a third cups of walnuts,
00:51and two scoops per cookie. And get that right into your preheated oven. And these should bake for
