00:00Put your faith in what you most believe in.
00:03Sorry, what?
00:04Two worlds, one family.
00:09Oh, Canada.
00:10In a shock to the market, Hasbro has been mixing up with other toy companies to collaborate.
00:15This includes Hot Wheels, initially to produce cars at the regular Hot Wheels scale,
00:20but now we got full-on official robots becoming the iconic Hot Wheels vehicles.
00:25Bone Shaker transforms into, well, the Bone Shaker, one of the leading iconic cars for the brand.
00:30And as a Hot Wheels fan, here's a Bone Shaker, here's a Bone Shaker, here's another Bone Shaker,
00:35here's a few Bone Shakers, here's a big Bone Shaker.
00:38I've been in the loop before my memories started to develop.
00:41I could compare this one down to the flames on the side,
00:44which I love how prominent they are with the red tracing around it.
00:47And yes, it's Hot Wheels branded, which I still can't believe.
00:50It features every important nod to the hot rod, especially the spooky skull.
00:55It has all the recognized features, the cartoonish expression, large eye sockets,
01:00and hands grasping the headlights.
01:01I love the springs, the components in the back bed, painted taillights, brown seats,
01:06but my favorite has to be the large overstocked pipes on the side.
01:09These obviously lead to the engine poking out of the hood.
01:12The side profile slopes up, I love the shaping of the doors,
01:16and while the interior is simple enough, I appreciate them going for the open top.
01:20The shift plugs in, but looks way too large.
01:23I think he's fishing for lightning bolts.
01:25By the way, the tires are pinned so it could go faster.
01:28I don't know if you could tell, but I love Bone Shaker,
01:30so even though I haven't shown the robot yet, the novelty of the scale gets me giddy.
01:35I love that they went for the classic black with flame deco.
01:39Robot mode.
01:41This is the cross-pollination of obsessive toy products, and I'm here for it.
01:46With Hasbro's love of recolors, and Hot Wheels' constant practice of recolors,
01:51they will dominate store shelves.
01:53I could go on about my childhood dream being realized,
01:56but I should probably just talk about this guy.
01:58It's like crossbreeding a junkion with a stun-icon.
02:01He actually feels straightforward, but his details are made up of different components,
02:05like the springs in the shoulders and pads, the turbine belly button,
02:09all the huge blocks form the legs, orange in the arms.
02:11But it all fits with the black silver with a glow of orange thrown in.
02:15I love the chest spotlighting the unified brand,
02:17using the Bone Shaker's skull, grinning from headlight nipple to headlight nipple.
02:21For something extra, swing out the pipes for the flare.
02:24Ever notice the modern new takes of made-up Transformers use a big visor and a battle mask?
02:29I think it looks good here, with the bulked-out helmet, angry tone, and pipes flaring at the top.
02:34It's almost like...
02:35Ball joint ahead, shoulders out and in, forward to back rotation below,
02:38elbow bend, waist rotation, hips out and in, forward to back rotation below, and knee bend.
02:41Poseability is basic, but fine.
02:43It's strong enough.
02:44The shoulder pads move, but there's no complete foot tilt, just the heels.
02:48You can move the heel seats and toes if you want.
02:51Let's take a look at the accessory.
02:53No gun, just a comically large stick shift.
02:55Not my favorite weapon.
02:56I like the Autobot logo with bones,
02:58but instead of a brutal, savage weapon you could smash with,
03:01I'm just wondering how many licks it takes to get to the center.
03:05Containing my excitement that these two brands finally merged,
03:08it feels strangely small for a rough deluxe, but I like what he brings.
03:12With the collab, they really had to lean into the car for inspiration
03:15to make a pretty savage and cool robot form.
03:18Novelty aside, I like what became of it.
03:20Boneshaker is playing with Boneshaker inside of Boneshaker.
03:24That's the bit.
03:51Boneshaker is playing with Boneshaker.
