00:06Oh my goodness, these Cyberverse figures! Oh my god, the Legends figures especially!
00:12Oh my god, they're so adorable. I hope they eventually make a Legends Grimlock.
00:16Oh, that'd be wonderful.
00:18The hell is this?
00:58We'll see you next time.
01:05Hello guys, I'm the Gnody Reviewer and this time we're taking a look at a figure.
01:09Oh my god, it's Legends Grimlock from Age of Extinction.
01:14We're taking a look at him. He's a pinky ring.
01:29So there's Grimlock in his old mode. We're going to take a look at that in a second.
01:33I just want to take a look at the packaging. There's a nice silhouette of Grimlock.
01:36And look at this. It promotes that it transforms in four steps.
01:42Wow, four steps! If only that were true, cause it's eleven.
01:51So here's Legends class Grimlock in his alt mode and as you can see, he's begging for treats and num
01:56num num num.
01:57And he transforms, isn't it quite obvious, into a Kaiju scrunum.
02:04What part of this is a T-Rex? The little arms? The big legs? The... What?
02:12Although it's not really G1 accurate, though I do get where the color comes from.
02:18The orange tint is really not that bad. I like the black. It really has a nice contrast on its
02:24colors.
02:25But... this is not a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
02:30I mean, sure, I know what they're trying to do. This isn't the first exclusive lineup for a store with
02:37just repaints.
02:38So I get where this is coming from.
02:41And Rippersnapper probably is the best choice out of any Legends or any Cyberverse previous
02:48because we haven't really got a Tyrannosaurus Rex in the Cyberverse or Legends class toys.
02:55But does this toy really have to be made? I mean...
02:58Oh, look at it! It's so... It's not a Tyrannosaurus Rex!
03:04I barely even call it Grimlock! Call it... Orangey! Call it Orangey! Let's call it Orangey!
03:11So elegant in its design, it makes me feel so much more intelligent.
03:16Mmmmmmm...
03:20That was STYLE!
03:22In case you're wondering, this does have Cyberverse ports
03:25because, well, it is a direct repaint of Rippersnapper.
03:29In fact, a better one because some of the joints are actually tighter on this toy.
03:33The head joint doesn't seem to want to pop off.
03:35Which, by the way, he's got some head on his crotch.
03:41The ladies love it!
03:44But as I'm saying, you can plug Cyberverse weapons onto this figure.
03:48No! Drop the crossbow!
03:50Drop it!
03:51Drop it!
03:53Drop it!
03:55Drop it!
03:56Drop it!
03:57Drop it!
03:57Drop it!
03:57Drop it!
03:59Drop it!
03:59Drop it!
04:02Drop it!
04:08Drop it!
04:11Servant on theisst Store!
04:16Hey, that was quick!
04:24Oh no...
04:26It's, it's Hexbug, Putin's cousin, and now he's making Grimlock walk.
04:33Now you too can make Grimlock walk.
04:37So here's Grimlock in his robot mode, and he doesn't include the Cybovus weapon,
04:42yet he's more expensive than the traditional Legion-class Transformers.
04:46He's actually about $9.
04:49Nine bucks!
04:50That's like, from 15 years ago, you would buy a deluxe for that price.
04:55By God, $9? Really? That's outrageous.
05:00I mean, yes, it's an exclusive toy, and usually they raise up the price.
05:04But by God, really, we're at the point where this is $9?
05:09I'm sorry for the rent, I just...
05:15I do like that even though this is just a repaint,
05:19there are technically some direct notes from previous Grimlocks.
05:24Like, for one, it's got the silver right here on the chest,
05:27and I guess that's supposed to note for the bikini bra thing that the Age of Extinction version has.
05:33And not only that, to note for the G1,
05:38that the arms actually transform into the legs of the dino mode,
05:44or the Kaiju Scrona mode, so that's... something.
05:48You defend my family, or else I'll rip your skull out of your head!
05:55Yes, he does have an Autobot logo, which was on originally his crotch in Upside Down, but whatever.
06:02And his face sculpt, well, not really a Grimlock, it does look nice.
06:07The only articulation you get is a ball joint in the arms,
06:10the head goes up and down, and the legs have a ball joint here.
06:14Whoop-dee-frickin-do.
06:15Oh, and also the, the, the this moves.
06:18So, the this, you gotta love the this.
06:21I will admit this is a little fun.
06:23I mean, when have we ever got Dinobot on Dinobot Action,
06:27except for it in Transformers Energon,
06:28but that was a failed experiment.
06:30Now you got that, so...
06:32Were you denying that this would ever work?
06:40This is clearly just a repaint of Ripper Snapper without the weapon,
06:44and as you can see, it really works for Abominus,
06:47because you got another color thrown in.
06:49Yes, this guy has blue, we've seen that.
06:53This guy has gray, we've seen that.
06:55Yellow, we've seen that.
06:56How about a splash of orange, why don't you?
06:59Thank you very much.
07:00Bitch, this is my spot, what are you gonna do, Ben?
07:03I'm going to be two bucks more than you.
07:08Okay.
07:09So that's it for the robot mode.
07:11Let's go to my overall review.
07:18So overall, what I'll recommend, Age of Extinction Grimlock,
07:21not really, nine bucks is asking for way too much.
07:24I'm glad I got this for free,
07:26but, uh, I gotta say,
07:29that if you do not have a complete Abominus,
07:32and it's because you don't have Ripper Snapper,
07:34I guess it's all right.
07:36Just note that nine dollars is asking for quite a lot for this figure.
07:41Way too much than what I think.
07:43It's not a perfect representation of Grimlock,
07:45I see why,
07:47but, hey, I can make a better Grimlock.
07:50Look, here's a better Grimlock.
07:53Now.
07:54Now.
07:57Now.
08:02Now.
08:06Now.
08:18Now.
08:23Now.
08:23Now.
08:23Now.
08:24Now.
08:25Now.
08:25Now.
