The mother of a one-and-a-half-year-old
little girl was
diagnosed with cancer.

By the time they realized it, it was
already too late,
and she passed away in less than a month.

When the girl saw her mother come home
cold,
she kept saying, “Big, big,” but when
she realized her
mother wouldn't wake up right away,
she patted her shoulder gently,
pretending to put her to
sleep, climbed onto her stomach,
and fell asleep herself in a prone
otter-like position.

The next day, as people gathered to lift
her mother into
the coffin, the girl cried and hit them.

“Mama! Mama!” she screamed, pulling
with incredible
strength, trying to tear them apart.

Even when her father took her outside,
her cries of
“Mama!” grew louder.

When he brought her back a while later,
the nails had
already been hammered into the coffin.

Even then, the girl cried out,
“Mama! Mama!”

She tried desperately to open the
coffin, trying to pull
out the nails that had been hammered
in.

But the coffin was carried away, and

behind at home.
