02:19It's a whole line of paper dollies
02:23I used to make these when I was a wee girl
02:25And that reminds me
02:27Today I'm going on a picnic with Edie and the children
02:29All the way up to the top of Bala Mori Hill
02:32Because today it's a play day in Bala Mori
02:35So I wonder what adventures we'll get up to
02:46Strike up the band, strike up the band
02:48There is no work today
02:51Hang out the flags, pack up your bags
02:54It's a play day
02:55Hooray!
02:57We're gonna dance for a mile today
02:59Run, jump, a walk for a smile today
03:03Strike up the band, strike up the band
03:06Strike up the band

03:08Jump on the bus
03:10It's here for us
03:11There is no work
03:13Wahey!
03:14Get up, get out
03:16It's a brand new day
03:17Raining or shining
03:18We don't care
03:20We're out to play
03:24Sail out on the blue
03:26Climb a hill for a view
03:28Run down to town, have a look around
03:31We're here, there, everywhere
03:34Look over here
03:37Dance if you dare
03:42Come to the fair
03:48Come on, let's have a show today
03:50Step hands down
03:52Give a smile for me
03:54And shout hooray!
03:57Take a trip on a train
03:59Fly up high in a narrow place
04:03Give each cloud a little name
04:05Down to the ground
04:07We'll run all around
04:08We're here, there, everywhere
04:10We're over here

04:16Hooray!
04:20Shhh!
04:24Looks like they're dancing now
04:26In a circle
04:29Oh!
04:30I wonder who that could be
04:40It's Edie of course
04:42Oh!
04:43Hello there Miss Hooley
04:44Morning Edie
04:45Are you all ready to take the children on their picnic?
04:48Oh!
04:48Yes, I am
04:51But I can't say the same for my bus
04:53Oh!
04:53Don't tell me your bus is broken down
04:55I'm afraid so
04:56What happened?
04:58Well, I was topping up my transmission fluid
05:01Tea?
05:02Oh yes, a cup of tea would hit the spot
05:03I was topping up my transmission fluid
05:06And I was surprised to discover that a combination of time, weight and wear
05:11Had caused an unexpected surrender of the gas charge support struts
05:16Oh, of course
05:17I knew I should have ordered a temperature compensating gas strut
05:21That would have avoided seasonal performance variations
05:25Milk?
05:27Oh yes
05:30Anyway, I have ordered a new strut application from the mainland
05:35I see
05:37Oh!
05:39Edie!
05:40Oh!
05:42It has a non-articulating hard mount variation so fitting it should be a doddle
05:47Edie!
05:48Oh, but
05:50Until it arrives, the bus is out of action
05:54Oh, and I have to pick up the Morrisons, the Mackenzies and the Rowings
05:57And take them up to the top of the Ballamory Hill for a picnic
06:01And how am I going to do that without the bus?
06:03Well, you could go and ask PC Plum to go round on his bike and ask everyone to meet us
06:08at the clock tower
06:09Then we could all walk up the Ballamory Hill together
06:12Brilliant!
06:13Oh, I knew I could count on you to come up with an idea
06:17Alright, I'll meet you up at the clock tower in a wee bit
06:20Okay, see you in a wee while, Edie
06:21Okay, bye!
06:23Bye!
06:23Bye!
06:23Bye Matthew!
06:25So, which coloured house do you think Edie will visit first today?
06:35Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
06:41Well, there's part of the story in Ballamory
06:44They ask, which is the house for me?
06:47Is it pink?
06:49Is it blue?
06:50Which coloured house are we going to?
06:53Yellow, green house, orange or red?
06:56Or should we go to the white house instead?
06:59Orange house, green house, red house or white?
07:04Pink house, yellow, blue?
07:07Which coloured house are we going to?
07:16Which coloured house are we going to?
07:19Tell me what do you think?
07:21Which coloured house are we going to?
07:24Tell me what do you think?
07:27It's the white house!
07:29Yes, it's the white house!
07:32Because that's where PC Plum lives!
07:38Oh dear!
07:52Plummy?
07:55Edie, hi!
07:58Are you alright?
07:59Oh yes!
08:00Never better!
08:01Just doing a bit of keep fit!
08:02A police constable should always be fighting fit!
08:06Oh dear!
08:07Oh yes!
08:08Well, you're an example to all of us!
08:12You really should leave your bus at home sometimes, Edie!
08:14A nice long walk would be very good for you!
08:18Well, I have left the bus at home today, Plummy!
08:21It's broken down!
08:23And I'm supposed to be collecting the Morrisons, the Mackenzies and the Rowings to take them on a picnic up
08:28the Ballamory Hill!
08:29Oh!
08:30Yes, so I wondered if you could just hop on your bike and go round everyone and tell them to
08:35meet me at the clock tower!
08:38And then we can all walk up Ballamory Hill together!
08:41You're going all the way up to the top of Ballamory Hill for a picnic?
08:45Yes!
08:46That's quite a hike!
08:47Oh, I know!
08:49Well, everyone will have to be fighting fit!
08:52Yes, well, I suppose so!
08:54You need someone who knows everything about keeping in shape!
08:57Oh, well, who in Ballamory knows about keeping in shape?
09:03Someone will help you get the children fit for that climb up the hill!
09:07Oh, Josie Jump!
09:08Yes, she'll have everyone running up that hill in no time!
09:12Ooh!
09:14I'll go and see Josie Jump!
09:21Josie Jump is my name!
09:25Dancing and sport are my games!
09:28I'm always feeling rhythm!
09:31It jingles in my toes!
09:33It jingles through my body!
09:35Come on and have a go!
09:36Everybody try kicking!
09:38Everybody try bouncing!
09:40Everybody try throwing!
09:42Everybody try jumping!
09:45Jumping!
09:45Sometimes I get the feeling I want to jump up high!
09:49I've got to keep on running!
09:51So fast I think I'll fly!
09:53Everybody jump up a little higher!
09:56Wave your hands!
09:58Jump up a little higher!
10:00Let's go!
10:00Everybody try kicking!
10:03Everybody try bouncing!
10:05Everybody try throwing!
10:07Everybody try jumping!
10:09Sometimes I get the feeling when getting near a hoop!
10:14The ball just keeps on bouncing!
10:16And then I loop, loop, loop!
10:18Everybody jump up!
10:19A little higher!
10:20Wave your hands!
10:22Jump up!
10:23A little higher!
10:24Score, go!
10:26Jump up!
10:27A little higher!

10:36Jump is my name!
10:38Dancing and sport are my games!
10:42I'm always feeling rhythm!
10:44It jingles in my toes!
10:46It tingles through my body!
10:48Come on and have a go!
10:55Ah!
10:58Um!
11:01Do you see?
11:03Hey Edie!
11:05How do you like my train set?
11:06Oh!
11:07It's very nice!
11:09You're so relaxing the way it goes round and round and round!
11:19So, what's the story in Bannamoree?
11:27Oh yes! Well, it all started when I went to see Miss Hooley at the cafe this morning.
11:37I told Miss Hooley that I was taking the children on a picnic. I was supposed to be collecting
11:43the Morrisons, the Mackenzies and the rowings in my bus. Then I was going to take them all
11:50the way up to the top of Bannamoree Hill. But my bus had broken down. Miss Hooley told me
11:57to go and see P.C. Plum. P.C. Plum agreed to get on his bike and tell everyone to
12:04meet
12:04at the clock tower. Then we can all walk up the hill together. But P.C. Plum said that
12:11we would all have to be super fit to walk up Bannamoree Hill.
12:21And that's when I thought of you, Josie. You're super fit and always got bags of energy. So,
12:29I wondered if you could train us all up to make the steep climb up to the top of the
12:36Bannamoree
12:37Hill. I don't think you need any special training to climb a hill. Oh, it's a long way. It's a
12:41easy. I know. All we need to do is make a game of it. A game? You know, make it
12:48fun. Oh,
12:50yes. Fun. How? You'll see. Race you to the clock tower. Great.
13:07Oh, hi everyone. Shame about the weather. Oh, now you've cleared up before the picnic.
13:13Are we all ready for the long walk up the Bannamoree Hill? Yes! Right, let's go.
13:23Oh, so Josie, how do we make a long walk up the hill fun? Well, when I have to go
13:28on a
13:28long walk, there's always a song that I sing to jolly myself along. And it goes like this.
13:32I went to school one morning and I walked like this. Walked like this. Walked like this.
13:40I went to school one morning and I walked like this. All on my way to school.
13:46Yeah. But Josie, we're not going to school. We're going on a picnic. Well, we can change
13:51it to going on a picnic. Oh, you might. I went on a picnic and I walked like this. Walked
13:59like
13:59this. Walked like this. Walked like this. I went on a picnic and I walked like this. All
14:18off we go there. I went on a picnic and I walked like this. Walked like this. Walked like this.
14:26I went on a picnic and I walked like this. All on my way to the picnic.
14:38Oh, look at the wee birdie. Do you see how it hops along? Perhaps we could all hop along, couldn't
14:45we?
14:46Yes, Lewis. I did. I saw a little birdie and he hopped like this. Hopped like this. Hopped
14:53like this. Hopped like this. I saw a little birdie and he hopped like this. All on my way
14:59to the picnic.
15:03Well, here comes PC Plum cycling on his bike. Hello again, plummy. That looks like hard work.
15:10Oh, is it? Very hard work. It's a good job I'm fighting fit. Oh, it sure is.
15:16I saw a policeman and he cycled like this. Cycled like this. Cycled like this. I saw a policeman
15:25and he cycled like this. All on my way to the picnic.
15:49I saw an aeroplane and it flew like this.
15:54I saw an aeroplane and it flew like this. Flew like this. Flew like this. I saw an aeroplane
15:59I saw an aeroplane and it flew like this. All on my way to the picnic.
16:08Oh, wow. We've arrived at the top of the hill. Oh, look at the view.
16:15Oh, thank you Josie for thinking up such a brilliant song which made walking here so much fun.
16:22Thank you, Edie, for leading us all the way to the picnic.
16:25Oh, the picnic. I almost forgot.
16:26Oh, who's ready to eat? Come on!
16:29Woo-hoo!
16:32I went on a picnic and I walked like this. Walked like this. Walked like this. Walked like this.
16:40I went on a picnic and I walked like this. All on my way to the picnic.
16:57So, what was the story in Balamori? Well...
17:03I was going on a picnic to the top of Balamori Hill with Edie, the Morrisons, the Mackenzies and the
17:08Rowings in Edie's bus.
17:10But Edie came to see me in the cafe to tell me that the bus had broken down.
17:14So I told Edie to call around PC Plum.
17:18PC Plum agreed to get on his bike and tell everyone to meet at the clock tower.
17:23But PC Plum said that we would all have to be super fit to walk up Balamori Hill and told
17:28Edie to go and see Josie.
17:31Josie told Edie that you don't need any special training to climb a hill. You just need to make a
17:35game of it.
17:37And that's what we did. We sang a song about going on a picnic all the way up to the
17:42top of the hill.
17:43It was no trouble at all because Josie made climbing the hill such fun.
17:51And that was the story in Balamori today.
17:55I went on a picnic and I walked like this, walked like this, walked like this.
18:03I'm exhausted.
18:05But with all that singing and dancing all the way up to the top of Balamori Hill and all the
18:11way back down again.
18:12It was brilliant though.
18:14And I'll see you soon. Bye.
18:16Bye.
