04:21Oh, I'd be happy to
04:22How lovely
04:23Just what the doctor ordered
04:26Oh, oh
04:28I decorated these pots to brighten up Edie's room
04:31These would be perfect for putting the flowers in
04:33I think you're right
04:35So, how is Edie?
04:37Well, she's got a bit of a chesty cough
04:39The doctors told her to keep inside and stay warm
04:41I think the wet air tends to start her coughing again
04:44Oh dear
04:45So I've bought her lots of things to cheer her up
04:48Oh, show me
04:51Some grapes
04:52Mmm
04:57What a fizzy drink
04:59What it is
05:00Oh yes

05:03Very good for blowing your nose
05:04Quite
05:05And, oh yes
05:07A book about tractors
05:08Thought she might like a little bit of light reading
05:10Good idea
05:11Well, I'd better pop her over to Edie
05:12See how she's getting on

05:18Will do
05:19See you later
05:20Bye
05:23So, which coloured house do you think Archie will visit first today?
05:30Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
05:36Well, there's part of the story in Bala Moria which is the house for me
05:42Is it yellow? Is it pink? Is it orange? What do you think?
05:47Is it red, green, blue or white? Which coloured house do you think is white?
05:53Yellow house? Orange house? Blue, pink or white? Green house? Red house? Which do you think is white?
06:10Which coloured house are we going to? Tell me what do you think? Which coloured house are we going to?
06:19Tell me what do you think?
06:20It's the blue house
06:23It's the blue house
06:23Yes, it's the blue house because that's where Edie McCready lives
06:33Edie? Are you asleep?
06:36It's cold進iciat
06:50diferen Oh, oh
07:09Oh, who's there?
07:12Sorry, Edie. It's only me, Archie.
07:15I was trying not to wake you.
07:17Oh, well...
07:18Oh, I'm awake now.
07:28Oh, I'm sorry I was so grumpy, Archie.
07:35Oh, it's just... I haven't been able to sleep lately.
07:39It's all right. I quite understand.
07:41How are you feeling?
07:43Ah, a bit better.
07:45That's good.
07:47Oh.
07:56Oh, that certainly cheered me up.
08:00Oh.
08:01And the children made these for you.
08:03Well, they miss you, you know.
08:06Oh, flowers.
08:07Oh, how lovely.
08:09Is there anything else you need?
08:10I mean, I'd be very happy to run down to Pocket & Sweet and collect it for you.
08:13Oh, no, I'm fine.
08:16Oh, I just wish I could get a bit more sleep, though.
08:20What's stopping you?
08:21Oh, it's the noise.
08:23It's really getting on my nerves.
08:26What noise?
08:29Did you hear that?
08:31You mean the window rattling?
08:33No, no, no.
08:33The noise outside.
08:35Hmm.
08:40You mean that sort of clanging, rattling, flapping noise?
08:44Yes.
08:44What is it?
08:45I've no idea.
08:46Well, we can't have you feeling like this.
08:48Why don't I go and take a long walk along the harbour and try and find the cause?
08:53Oh, Archie, would you?
08:54I'd be ever so grateful.
08:56No problem.
08:57Now, why don't you stay here and keep warm and maybe read a book while I go and investigate?
09:03Oh, tractor engines.
09:06How thoughtful.
09:08Oh, thank you, Archie.
09:11See you later.
09:21Now, that rattling, clanging, flapping noise seems to be coming from over here.
09:29Getting louder.
09:32Strange.
09:33I wonder what it could be.
09:40Of course, it's the noise of the rigging on the boats.
09:43That's what Edie can hear.
09:45Every time the wind blows, the rigging on the boats starts clinking and clanking.
09:49But what can I do about it?
09:52Hmm.
09:53I certainly can't make it stop.
09:55Maybe I could make it more pleasant to listen to.
09:58More musical, maybe.
10:00Yes, that's it.
10:01Musical.
10:02But who in Balamori knows about music?
10:06Of course.

11:57Oh, hey there, Archie.
11:59Ah, painting.
12:00Wonderful pastime, don't you think?
12:01It certainly is.
12:02Is that Roddy MacLeod's cow?
12:04Yes, it is.
12:05Ah, yes, I thought I recognised her.
12:07Now, Spencer, I need your help.
12:09So, what's the story in Balamori?
12:11Well, now.
12:15I popped over to the nursery this morning to pick up a get-well card for Edie.
12:19The children had made some lovely paper flowers, so I picked them up as well as a few other
12:23things to help cheer her up.
12:25When I got to Edie's, I found her asleep, so I tried to be very quiet.
12:30As I was leaving, the sound of the doors opening woke her.
12:33Edie was a bit grumpy.
12:35Edie, she told me that she hadn't had much sleep because the noise from outside was keeping
12:38her awake.
12:39So I went down to the harbour to try and find the cause.
12:43I discovered it was the sound of the rigging on the boats flapping and rattling and clanking.
12:49And I thought, seeing as I can't stop the noises, maybe I could make the sounds more pleasant
12:53for Edie to listen to.
12:55And that's when I thought of you.
12:56Me?
12:57Well, I thought you could think of a way of making the clinking clunking noises more musical.
13:02Now, that is a hard one.
13:05Is that a cowbell?
13:07Yes.
13:08I have one right here.
13:12I guess you could call her a musical cow.
13:16Musical cow.
13:19Cowbell.
13:20Boat bell.
13:21Musical boats.
13:23That's it!
13:24Why not musical boats?
13:26Using bells?
13:28Yes.
13:28Bells.
13:29Chimes.
13:30Anything that tinkles as the boats sway in the breeze.
13:34Oh.
13:34Come on, Archie.
13:35Open that bag.
13:36It's music time!
13:38We'll see you next time.

13:59We'll see you next time.
14:00We'll see you next time.

17:29when Archie arrived at Edie's
17:31he discovered that poor Edie hadn't had much sleep
17:34because of the clattering clanging noise from outside
17:37Archie went down to the harbour
17:38to find out what was making the noise
17:40he found that the noise was the sound of the rigging on the boats
17:44so he asked Spencer
17:45if he could think of a way
17:47to make the sounds more pleasant for Edie to listen to
17:50Spencer suggested they ask the children to make janglers
17:53so they could be attached to the boat rigging
17:55the children made their janglers
