00:03where a 17-year-old boy allegedly ran over a 42-year-old nurse, Fahim Unisa, on Sunday morning.
00:09According to police, the teenager and his two friends had planned a trip to a farmhouse in
00:13Moynabad. Although they initially intended to travel by bus, they allegedly borrowed a car for
00:18a trial run. Investigators say the SUV had travelled barely 300 metres when it struck
00:24the nurse as she was on her way to work. Instead of stopping, the boys allegedly returned the
00:29damaged vehicle, claimed it had been involved in a minor collision and continued their trip to the
00:34farmhouse. Police later traced the group and brought them in for questioning after the victim succumbed
00:39to her injuries. The case has now been upgraded from causing death by negligence to culpable homicide
00:44not amounting to murder, with police also planning action against others accused of helping facilitate
00:49the illegal drive. Further investigation is underway.
