01:41fell through that Jalen Brown would be coming back to Boston so disgruntled that it would actually affect his play
01:48on the court.
01:49I just don't think Jalen's that type of guy.
01:51But I do think it's notable that Bill Simmons in that quote said maybe some of the things that he
01:58said immediately following their playoff exit changed the conversation.

02:06And I do think that that's something worth paying attention to if they're looking at Giannis and maybe part of
02:12it is like, OK, Jalen is in a different mindset now.
02:15Jalen wants to go somewhere else like that is also fully possible.
02:19And when I say like, I don't think that Jalen is not going to go out there and give it

02:23I just think the dynamic of your team might run into some situations like, you know, in close games when
02:29it's about, all right, who do we get the who gets the last shot?

02:33Like those type of things.
02:34We act like Jalen never got the last shot in those playoffs.

02:38Like there's a reason he was the finals MVP.

07:16Nobody told him he had to be miserable.
07:18At the end of the worst collapse in my lifetime, watching the Celtics, he said it was his favorite year.
07:25It is akin to Tom Brady, after losing Super Bowl XLII, saying, well, I'm the MVP.
07:31It was my best season ever.
07:32I loved it.
07:33People would lose their ever-loving mind.
07:35And he would actually have a leg to stand on.
07:37And he would never say it.
07:38If you ask Tom Brady, that's his least favorite season.
07:40So, for me, Jalen wants to have everything at the same time.

07:48He wants to be the guy.
07:50And he can't be it here.

07:54I think, you know, whether it was consciously or unconsciously, some of the comments that he's made were basically taunting

09:07if somebody was trying to replace you all the time, your company, your team, your job, I would feel a
09:15certain way, especially when you and your performance, your production puts you at the level of a guy that they'll,
09:27without a doubt, come out and say he is off limits.
09:31Yeah, well, if I grant you that, then he's never going to be happy because that's already occurred.
09:36It happened many, many times in the past, and it still bothers him.
09:39But that's why I don't agree with Mago.
09:41I don't think he is happy 100%.
09:43So, yeah, that's why Brad Stevens probably, I would sit there and go, all right, it's just not, he's not
09:48going to be happy unless he's the only guy.
09:51He's the alpha guy, and we move on from Jason Tatum, whatever.
09:55And so I might as well go and do what I can to get Giannis and see if this team
10:02ends up better.
10:03And see, I disagree with you where he won't be happy if he's with Jason Tatum.
10:09I think he'll be happy if Brad Stevens just goes, Jason and Jalen are both untouchable.

10:20That's what I think he would like more than anything.

10:30And so I can understand why they might hold Tatum to a higher standard.
10:36But you have to know that you are dealing with somebody that that potentially is going to be, to your
10:43point, Mago, is something that he's going to use to motivate.
