00:21expectation of the draft pick and how quickly that pick is going to need to come in and contribute
00:28and and play yeah i mean i think the situation of the roster as it stands is going to lend

00:33that i think anytime we draft a player i think we want to be apprehensive about the fact that a

00:37can come in and contribute right away but in this scenario i think we've got four guys right now
00:42under contract that'll be healthy for training camp so i think there's opportunity abound for
00:47whoever we draft both at 11 and 54 to play and it's just that's probably a little bit different than
00:52we've had in the past with some of these guys so uh whether we like it or not the guys
00:56are going to
00:56be out there you would think barring barring injury or whatever so um you know that that's a good
01:00thing that's that by speeds up their development okay this was not the point of what he was saying
01:05but it threw me for a loop right now we have four people who are under contract and healthy for
01:12camp
01:13right did we get to a consensus on who those four people are yeah we did okay will richard number

03:59know who the hell else is on the warriors and i know you can do the horford and chris stops

04:05like it's probable but i don't know i don't know if al horford's playing basketball next year i don't
04:10i don't know if chris stops is re-signing with the warriors i and i certainly don't know once we
04:15get past
04:16that to the you know the gp2s and the pat spencers of the world like i have no clue what

04:22there and so this the reason this hit me at such a level is we've got the draft in uh
04:30five days and
04:32then about a week and a half after the draft free agency begins and the warriors have like a lot

04:42roster spots to fill so i know we spend all our time with the trades and the big game hunting

04:50and all of this this offseason in a way and i don't i just don't even know why i didn't

04:57way this just got a lot more interesting to me because i'm even thinking about the bottom of the
05:03roster not even just the top of the roster who's gonna be on this team well there's an order to

05:08right it's the draft and then it's the option guys draymond al and melton and if they don't rework
05:15draymond's contract and it feels like they won't then he'll probably opt in so he goes and he's a
05:21person who'll be there yeah they do have the bird rights on porzingis which allows them to pay him a
05:26little bit more than other teams and so if porzingis does want to play here still and he thinks that

05:37you're right like the other smaller ones gp2 that feels to me like something late late late

05:53on the team um one or two people you know mike dunley said he'd like to actually he'd like to

05:59player in the draft yep so that's probably a player and then he might go get another player in the

06:03round so that's probably another player oh but it might be a two-way guy or it might be a

06:11they trade out of the second round i mean second rounders are not guaranteed to make the team you
06:15know not at all so if you just take the injured guys too you go steph and jimmy and if
06:20you add in
06:20chris taps and then it's draymond moses and pods it's gee and will that's eight right there people
06:27that's eight and then the pick would be nine is nine and maybe another pick will be 10 right and
06:33if it's horford that's 11 then you still need like four more people right and you have options that
06:39you had last year like guys like leon's and bassy and crier and spencer and peyton the second i mean
06:46those are basketball players but i think before you get to that you're gonna want to go out and try

06:51get other people if possible you know but to your point there's more work to do than just we're going

07:05referencing yesterday free agency and what i have the hardest time believing in this moment for the
07:12warriors is that there aren't some surprises coming i really do feel that i i think there are a lot

07:20warrior fans right now who sort of listened to mike dunleavy yesterday and a few weeks ago you
07:26listened to dunleavy and kerr together and he came out of it going oh status quo boy people are using

07:40just because it didn't work but they have they have used their words to say otherwise not running it
