00:00There's a couple of things, I think, to sort of bear in mind.
00:04Let's look at the positive first, right?
00:06So I think the fact that countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain,
00:11and the Arab allies are included in this,
00:15and Trump is saying that this has been approved by him.
00:18So I think let's look at that as the positive.
00:21I don't think he would have included their names as endorsing it
00:25if there wasn't any credibility to that.
00:27But at the same time, I'm still looking at the live fee from Reuters.
00:32And like you said, the latest one was that Iran has come out
00:36and said that they have not yet agreed the text.
00:38And I think the yet is probably the important bit.
00:41But I think that's a positive endorsement.
00:44But I think there's a couple of things that are also going on
00:47that have happened in just the last couple of hours.
00:50When Trump gave an interview to Fox News,
00:54he was talking about he was going to try and take Karg Island,
00:59which is a strategic Iranian island that processes a lot of Iranian oil.
01:05And he said that his preference was that they would take that.
01:09But he also then went on to say,
01:10I don't know that America has the stomach for it.
01:13So I think that was a very, very telling comment by him
01:16where it kind of shows that he wants to end the war
01:19because he's probably perceived that it's not very popular with the American public.
01:24And you kind of wonder, well, why is that?
01:26Well, also today there was some figures out in relation to inflation.
01:32So this is how it's impacting the general American public.
01:36And it's up to 4.2%, which is the first time in three years it's gone over 4%.
01:41And a lot of that is to do with energy costs and the cost to fill your car,
01:47which has gone up about 45%.
01:49So I think basically, to sum it up, I think Trump is listening to the American people.
01:54He wants to get a deal done quickly.
01:55So I think the fact that it's gotten the Arab allies endorsement.
01:59But I think the caveat is that we've got to wait and see what comes from Iran
02:04and that they have to obviously endorse it
02:06because this is the 17th time since the war started on February 28th
02:10where Trump has said, we're close to a deal.
02:13And, you know, we've heard it before.
02:16So I'm optimistic, but skeptical is probably the best way.
