00:00Hey, Decatur, give it up for Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock.
00:07You all look good. You all look ready to work.
00:10You know this is a canvas launch, right?
00:13You know we're not just here to cheer.
00:17We're here to go out there and knock on doors.
00:21Because there are just 26 hours until the polls close.
00:30There are 26 hours remaining for us to change the course of American history.
00:39And we need change.
00:41I'm not going to recite for you all of the terribles that have been forced on our republic this last
00:48year and a half.
00:49You've seen them. You've felt them. You're living them.
00:54But we need change.
00:55They have lied us into yet another war in the Middle East.
01:03They slashed Medicaid and doubled health insurance premiums to cut taxes for the rich.
01:08These tariffs have sent grocery prices soaring.
01:13They're crushing Georgia's small businesses and Georgia farms.
01:20But these next 26 hours are the time remaining for us to wield the power and the rights invested in
01:31us as citizens by our Constitution to make a difference.
01:36Decatur, are you ready to work?
01:38Are you ready to win?
01:43Now, I'm so honored to be here with Raphael.
01:45And I want to tell you a quick story about the work that we've done together on behalf of the
01:50state that just illustrates the stakes of this election for Georgia.
01:54Because when you sent me and Raphael Warnock to the U.S. Senate, and by the way, we shocked the
01:59nation with those two victories.
02:01And thank you for everything you did to make them possible.
02:05But when you sent me and Raphael to the Senate, one of the first things we did is we stood
02:10up to the big drug companies who have armies of lobbyists and unlimited money.
02:15And we capped the cost of insulin on Medicare at $35 a month.
02:20Do you all remember that?
02:22What you may not know is that at the same time, Raphael and I added to the federal budget $2
02:32billion as an incentive for Georgia to expand Medicaid.
02:37Because you all know that we are one of very few states still refusing Medicaid expansion.
02:43We all pay the same federal taxes as people in every other state.
02:47We just refuse to accept money back for health insurance and clinics and hospitals and nursing homes.
02:55In a state where half of all births are covered by Medicaid, 40% of all kids are covered by
03:02Medicaid, 70% of all seniors in nursing homes are covered by Medicaid.
03:08So Senator Warnock and I said, okay, okay, Governor, you haven't yet chosen to do the right thing.
03:16But here's $2 billion more for the state to encourage you to do the right thing.
03:20And the governor still said no.
03:23In the middle of a health emergency here, we've lost 21 hospitals in 20 years in the state of Georgia.
03:29We have among the highest maternal mortality rates in the country.
03:32It's three times higher for black women.
03:35It's a health care emergency in Georgia.
03:37And I say all of this to say that it is literally a matter of life or death for our
03:43fellow Georgians whether we expand Medicaid.
03:46And tomorrow we must elect a Medicaid-expanding Governor Keisha Lance Bottoms to lead our state out of this health
03:53care emergency.
03:56We have a historic opportunity to elect Keisha, our next governor, to elect Josh, our next lieutenant governor, to elect
04:06Penny Brown Reynolds, our secretary of state, to defend voting rights, to elect Tanya Miller, our attorney general, to fight
04:14for the constitutional rights of every single Georgian.
04:17We are on the cusp of a victory for the ages.
04:23We are on the cusp of making history.
04:25We are on the cusp of having a transformative impact on Georgia's history and our nation's history.
04:33We've seen in these last few months attacks on civil rights and voting rights unprecedented for decades.
04:43But when our civil rights and our voting rights are under attack, we defend those rights by using them.
04:50And the work that you're about to do out there empowering and informing your fellow Georgians to vote tomorrow is
04:58empowering and informing your fellow Georgians to defend their rights, to defend what this country stands for, and to advance
05:06the causes of justice and righteousness here in our state and nationwide.
05:12So thank you so much for everything that you've done, not just for the last 18 months, but for the
05:21last decade, to make a difference.
05:24We've been on a long journey together that's brought us to this moment where we're on the precipice of breaking
05:33through and beginning a new era for our state.
05:37Let's give it everything that we've got.
05:41No regrets, Decatur.
05:44No regrets.
05:45We've got 26 hours left to save our state and to save our country.
05:50You all are about to go out there and use your power as citizens to make a difference.
05:55So I'm going to ask you again, Decatur, are you ready to work?
05:58Yes!
05:59Are you ready to win?
06:00Yes!
06:01Let's get this done.
06:02Thank you so much.
06:03Let's make history for the state of Georgia tomorrow.
