03:42Spencer
03:43I wonder who it could be
03:45Back to myself
03:49Good morning Miss Willie
03:50Hi kids
03:51Hi Spencer
03:53Hi there Spencer
03:54I was worried you weren't coming
03:58I'm so sorry I'm late
03:59I stopped to see the flowers on the way here
04:01Red ones, blue ones, orange ones
04:04All the colours of the rainbow
04:05Yes, they are pretty
04:07But I've got some flowers here that need your attention too
04:11Ta-da!
04:13Paper daffodils
04:14Wow!
04:16Brilliant
04:16Aren't they just?
04:18The children made them
04:19And I'm hoping that you could add a splash of colour
04:21Well, that's why I'm here
04:23They need to be painted as quickly as possible
04:26So they'll be drying time for the daffodil tea party
04:28I have these painted in no time at all
04:30Oh, that's great
04:31Well, I'd better get back and help the children bake
04:34Is there anything else you need?
04:35Oh, let me see
04:36I've got paint brushes?
04:37Paints?
04:38Nope, I've got everything I need
04:39Thank you
04:40Thanks Spencer
04:42Hmm, now
04:44What colour should I paint the daffodils?
04:47Okay everyone
04:50So, because Miss Julie's going to use this flower one
04:55When I'm doing my mixture
04:56So there's some patterns everyone
05:06So we need just two more I think
05:10Couldn't have done it without all my helpers
05:13Okay
05:15That's them all ready
05:16I think Spencer will be finished painting the daffodils hopefully
05:24My daffodils!
05:25Lovely aren't they?
05:28Lovely
05:29But wrong
05:32Wrong?
05:33They're the wrong colour Spencer
05:35Daffodils are yellow
05:37Not blue, red or orange
05:40And they're never stripey
05:43I'm sorry Miss Julie
05:44Of course daffodils are yellow
05:46How could I forget that?
05:48Not to worry
05:49If you start painting them all yellow straight away
05:51Then they may be drying time for the daffodil tea party this afternoon
05:56Now, is there anything I can do to help?
05:58Do you have any paint?
06:00Paint?
06:00Yellow paint
06:01I don't have any left
06:03Oh dear
06:05Well I don't have any either
06:07What are we going to do now?
06:09The children will be so disappointed if they don't have the daffodils for the tea party
06:15I know who might have some yellow paint we can use
06:17Who?
06:18Edie McCready
06:20I'll go over there right away
06:24See ya
06:25Hurry back
06:29So, which coloured house do you think Spencer will visit first today?
06:40Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
06:46Well this part of the story in Ballymore
06:49He asks which is the house for me
06:52Is it green?
06:54Is it red?
06:55Or should I go to the white house instead?
06:58Yellow, pink, orange or blue
07:00Which coloured house am I going to?
07:03Green house
07:05Red house
07:07Orange or pink
07:09Yellow house
07:10Blue or white
07:12Tell me what do you think?
07:20Which coloured house are we going to?
07:23Tell me what you think
07:26Which coloured house are we going to?
07:29Tell me what do you think?
07:32It's the blue house!
07:35Yes, it's the blue house
07:37Because that's where Edie McCready lives
07:43Hi Edie!
07:45Howdy Spencer!
07:46Have you finished painting all those daffodils already?
07:50No
07:52How did you know I was painting the daffodils?
07:54The children were talking about the daffodils they made for you to paint when I was driving them to nursery
07:59this morning
08:00They did?
08:01Oh yes!
08:02They're all so excited about the surprise daffodil tea party at the nursery this afternoon
08:10Oh
08:12Why the long face?
08:14Have you not been invited?
08:16Yes!
08:17But I don't think anybody wants to see me there unless I have some yellow paint
08:21That's why I'm here actually
08:22Do you have any yellow paint I could have please?
08:24Hmm
08:26Well I just might have some in this box of junk that I cleared out of the garage
08:32Now hang on a minute let's just have a look
08:36Well
08:37Hmm
08:37Hmm
08:40A blue tin
08:43Oh
08:45From Spain
08:47Ah
08:49Ah there it is
08:52A yellow tin
08:53Great
08:54Now look
08:55Is there going to be enough?
08:57Oops
08:58There we go
09:00That's perfect Edie
09:01And I've just got time to pedal back to the nursery
09:04And get these daffodils started right away
09:07Oh there's no need
09:09I can give you a lift in the nursery bus
09:11With the children's mums and dads
09:13Mums and dads?
09:15You can't take them to the nursery
09:16Not until I've painted the daffodils yellow anyway
09:19But I've already arranged to pick them up
09:21Oh no
09:23What am I going to do?
09:25I don't have time to paint the daffodils
09:30Well
09:31There's only one thing for it
09:33We'll have to stop the bus
09:34But how?
09:37Hmm
09:40PC Plum
09:45I'm PC Plum
09:47And I'll tell you what I've done
09:49I've pedaled round this island
09:51More than once or twice
09:54And if you call on me
09:56We can make a cup of tea
09:58I'll tell you all about the bees
10:00And birds and mice
10:06I'm PC Plum
10:07And I'll tell you who I am
10:09I'm your policeman
10:10And I'll always be your chum
10:14With my magnifying glass
10:16I can look between the grass
10:18I can look between the grass
10:19And all the tiny beasties
10:20Wee!
10:21Look at them run
10:24You can bet you'll see me coming
10:28On my bike
10:30I'm riding round the town
10:33In the country
10:34I check on all the wildlife

11:18PC Plum
11:39PC Plum
11:45Charming little bird tweets
11:47So, what's the story in Balamori?
11:51Well...
11:54Miss Hooley asked me to paint a bunch of paper daffodils
11:57For the daffodil tea party
11:59All was well
12:01Until I painted the flowers
12:02The wrong colour
12:05Miss Hooley said the daffodils should be yellow
12:07And not red
12:09Blue
12:10Orange
12:11Or stripy
12:13The trouble was
12:14Neither Miss Hooley
12:15Nor I
12:16Had any yellow paint left
12:20So, I went to see Edie McCready
12:22To see if she had a spare tin
12:25And luckily she did
12:30Good!
12:31And you need me to do what?
12:32Help you paint the daffodils?
12:33No!
12:34Miss Hooley and the children are going to help me do that
12:36What I need you to do
12:37Is slow down the mums and dads arriving on the bus
12:40So we can get the painting done
12:41Ah, well you see, I'm afraid I'm in a bit of a hurry myself
12:44I've spotted a rather rare spring bird in a farmado
12:47And I was...
12:48But you have to help me
12:51What about the children?
12:56Right.
12:57Well, why don't you pop down to the nursery
12:59And help Miss Hooley and the children paint the daffodils?
13:01But what about the mums and dads arriving on the bus?
13:04Leave them to me
13:05Come on, come on
13:25What's up, plummy?
13:26I'm afraid you're going to have to leave the bus here and walk to the nursery today, Edie
13:29He will? Why?
13:32A very rare bird has nested in the hedgerow
13:35Really?
13:36And I'm afraid the sound of your noisy engine may frighten it away and we wouldn't want that, would we?
13:40If we have to take the long road round, we'll never get to the nursery in time for the...
13:48Ahhhh
13:49Exactly, I mean, yes
13:52I'll telephone Miss Hooley and let her know you're going to be late
13:54Now, if you come along and follow me, I'll lead you to the nursery on foot
14:00Well, that should give Spencer and the children plenty of time to get the daffodil tea party ready
14:07I hope
14:25See the ducks just there?
14:27And say goodbye Mr. Ducks
14:29Goodbye Mr. Ducks
14:30Goodbye Ducks
14:31Goodbye Ducky
14:41You can tell me what these flowers are here
14:44Daffodils
14:44Daffodils, aren't they beautiful?
14:47Goodness, would you look at the time?
14:49We must be getting back to the nursery
14:51If you want to follow me, we'll go straight back to the nursery
14:53Come on, come on
14:58Hi PC Farm
14:59Here we are Miss Hooley
15:00Hello everyone
15:02Hi everyone
15:03Hi everyone
15:04Welcome to the Ballahory Nursery Daffodil Tea Party
15:07Tea's up
15:16Daffodil, you have your biscuit, you have your tea
15:19It's amazing
15:22Goodbye
15:25Nice having the money to eat everything
15:31And the best thing is, the children made these biscuits themselves, are you?
15:35They're very nice
15:36So what do they taste like, Philip?
15:39They're delicious
15:42OK everyone, let's go for a springtime row on the Ballahory River
15:47Are you ready?
15:50Hey
15:51Row, row, row, row, you go, gently down the street
15:55Nelly, nelly, nelly, nelly, nelly
15:58Life is but a treat
16:01Row, row, row, you go, gently down the street
16:07Nelly, nelly, nelly, nelly, life is but a dream
16:21One last daffodil for you, Miss Hooley.
16:24Thanks, Spencer.
16:26I think that you deserve this PC plum for delaying the mums
16:29so that the daffodils could dry.
16:31Oh, thank you, Miss Hooley.
16:35Yellow, my favourite colour.
16:44So, what was the story in Balamori today?
16:51I asked Spencer to help us paint some daffodils
16:54for the daffodil tea party we were planning for the mums and dads.
16:58So, while the children and I made biscuits,
17:01Spencer started painting the daffodils.
17:04But he painted them the wrong colour.
17:07And we didn't have any yellow paint left.
17:12So, Spencer borrowed some yellow paint from Edie.
17:18He then asked PC plum to delay Edie's bus
17:21so that Spencer had enough time to paint all the daffodils.
17:27PC plum stopped the bus and took everyone on our nature trail.
17:34Spencer finished the daffodils in time and they looked beautiful.
17:40And we all had a lovely daffodil tea party.
17:49So, that was the story in Balamori.
17:53Bye!
18:01Bye!
